I put a block on my card.

I ended the relationship with them end October when I changed insurance and that was the last of supplies that I got. I specifically told them on the phone do not charge my credit card and delete it as they would not accept any orders from my dr further and kept deleting them. My dr sent the order to another company that was perfectly willing to do business with me. Customer service is a nightmare and unintelligent and I could not get anyone to talk to That could help me with why I got billed in March 2026 for supplies that I never received. Do not do business with this company. They require you to give them your credit card number so that if your medical insurance doesn't cover billing, they will randomly charge you But for the year of 2025 I was never charged a dime as I had paid my full deductible and out-of-pocket expenses and suddenly in March 2026 they randomly bill me $324. The most I could get from the answering service was they quarterly But if that's the case December ended quarterly and March should not apply and I received nothing from them. Do yourself a favor and do not deal with these people at all. They are a rip off company!

There is only one company that has not only my loyalty, but my full faith and confidence when dealing with, helping, trusting, caring for and even loving old people with dignity and respect..... and that's Joanne MacInnis and her crew at Aberdeen. Take a bow team, this is my review .....

Ordinarily an Aberdeen caregiver is scheduled to be with my cousin just a few mornings per week, and there was no one on duty last Friday when some visiting neighbors became concerned that she was unwell and phoned Aberdeen for help. The Aberdeen Case Manager, Diana Shepherd, promptly rushed over to my cousin's house to check and take care of her. Diana then stayed with my cousin until she could arrange for Aberdeen caregivers to stay with her 24/7 until the health crisis passed. I appreciate that it was not easy to find caregivers on such short notice, and am grateful to those kind caregivers who rearranged their schedules during this busy holiday season just to be with my cousin. I live four hours away, so having this dedicated team in place means the world to me, and gives me great peace of mind. I cannot say enough good things about Aberdeen, and Diana and her wonderful caregivers!

At my wit's end, their appeal to caring for the caregiver immediately caught my attention! I filled out the questionnaire and got a quick response from the owner who completely understood my circumstance and knew he could help. And that's just what happened. Within days, FirstLight had identified someone who might be a good fit and she was. Then the pandemic hit and having someone to watch my loved one when I couldn't was invaluable. Unfortunately, that person changed careers and it did take some time to find another good fit, but that new fit was extraordinary. All through the months I worked with FirstLight, they were accessible by phone and definitely on the job in terms of questions or concerns. They are a small agency, which I like, but it can take a bit to find just the right person and for them to be available to a new client. Communication between the alternate caregiver, who was experienced in elder care and familiar with hospice, was direct and consistent. Both Admin and Ownership were always on the other end of the phone. It was a pleasure to find FirstLight, even so late in our journey but they made the final few months easier. Highly recommended!

Director Girish Lahoty personally handled the application for help for my elderly parents. I am extremely impressed with the kind and professional interaction with my parents who were resistant to support . I also was extremely happy with the quality of the help provided, provided even in these COVID-19 times. Our experience couldn't have been better, and if we need FirstLight again we won't hesitate to apply. I have a masters in nursing and find the FirstLight company to be top notch. Susanna P. RN MSN
