Beware, although the staff was great and helpful in Wilmington NC the billing department continues to bill me for CPAP equipment that I only had for two week, it was not a good fit for me so I returned the CPAP machine in early November. two months later , January I receive a bill for unexplained reason, and realized they charged this to my debt card, with out my authorization I called and explained I returned the CPAP and had documentation of the return in Nov. the only explanation I received was this was a cancelation fee. I was referred to them by my dr 2025 with never having to pay out-of-pocket for supplies as I had met my deductible and out-of-pocket fully but suddenly March 2026 I get billed $346 out of the blue with no notification no mail correspondence and no text or email correspondence to let me know this was happening. I ended the relationship with them end October when I changed insurance and that was the last of supplies that I got. I specifically told them on the phone do not charge my credit card and delete it as they would not accept any orders from my dr further and kept deleting them. My dr sent the order to another company that was perfectly willing to do business with me. Customer service is a nightmare and unintelligent and I could not get anyone to talk to That could help me with why I got billed in March 2026 for supplies that I never received. Do not do business with this company. They require you to give them your credit card number so that if your medical insurance doesn't cover billing, they will randomly charge you But for the year of 2025 I was never charged a dime as I had paid my full deductible and out-of-pocket expenses and suddenly in March 2026 they randomly bill me $324. The most I could get from the answering service was they quarterly But if that's the case December ended quarterly and March should not apply and I received nothing from them. HORRIBLE. Customer Service people will bully you into taking supplies you do not need. Will try to convince you that because you are "entitled" to replacement parts you have to take them. You can tell them all day to only ship certain items, but when the package arrived, you have everything THEY wanted to ship. Does not matter who you talked to. Tell them you will call when you need supplies does not work. Talk to a supervisor and they do not care and do not write in the record that you talked to them. Finally called Medicare and filed a complaint. Medicare and I called them. We finally asked for a supervisor. Soon as Medicare hung-up, instead of continuing conversation, Lincare hang up. Recommend talking to your doctor for a list of local suppliers. Lincare does not care, they just want the business. They will ship what they want and are RUDE, RUDE, RUDE. A bunch of bullies. They were the only customer service team to make me cry. It took me a month to get my cpap machine instead of the estimated week. After my sleep study, I called and they "set up" an account for me. We also scheduled a date and time for someone to come by my apartment to set me up with a machine. That day came, and no one showed up. I called again only to be told that I wasn't in the system at all. They then told me they were going to look into it for me and call back with an update. Two days passed with no call back. I called again asking for an update. I was told that I was still not in the system, and after some discussion, they again told me that they would call me back with an update. Two more days passed, and they didn't call back. I called again asking what was happening. The person informed me there was no record of me in their system and that they would call me back later with an update. It was at this point that I broke down crying. I needed a cpap machine because I was sleeping terribly due to a recent nose injury, and my daytime life was falling apart. And the only people capable of helping me were refusing to lift a finger and do their jobs to help me out. Luckily, the customer service representative who I was on the phone with this last time felt bad as I was struggling to talk due to my crying. She told me she would actually call me back, and she kept her word. She called me back later that evening with an update, and we were able to schedule an actual time for someone to come out and set me up with a machine. I'm really thankful for the last customer service rep, but no one should have to have an emotional breakdown over the phone just to get a company's employees to do their job. read more

I have been calling for weeks to get my supplies delivered they said they delivered two orders since the end of July. Come to find out someone changed my address and my supplies were going to someone in Wakefield. Another person told me I wasn't in the system anymore. Another told me it would months to get this problem resolved. I have been hand washing all my supplies and the nose pillows are not working anymore. I would give 0 stars if I could. Horrible company. I am a caregiver for an older generation with severe respiratory problems. He has been waiting 5 weeks for a nebulizer to be delivered. His Dr.'s office has phoned them numerous occasions. I finally got through to someone and their answer was "we're short staffed and busy! Sorry that is wrong. I went through the Wilmington facility to obtain a wheelchair for my mother. Staff was very helpful and sympathetic to the needs of my mom as far as dealing with Medicare and her PCP. They got it done and Tina went well beyond to assist me in obtaining the chair. I would recommend this facility. read more

The service Lincare has provided me over the last year has been truly terrible. Specifics follow. In December 2021 I was prescribed a CPAP device to be filled by Lincare, but because of the shortage of CPAP devices they were not able to provide one until August. During that time I called Lincare 7 times to find out the status of the order. Each time I reached a representative who said they couldn't provide any information but promised that someone would call me back. That was fine, except no one ever called me back, not even once in 7 tries, even when I described what had happened in earlier calls. There was one exception: once I was placed on hold for 35 min. and then they hung up. I understand the shortage was not Lincare's fault but would have liked to know how fast they were receiving devices, where I was in the queue, and any other information that might have been helpful. Since this happened 7 times over 8 months it's hard to avoid the conclusion that Lincare made a corporate decision to lie to its clients, ignore them, and leave them completely in the dark. My next encounter was in December 2022 when I called to order supplies. After trying to get me to order a lot of stuff I didn't need they accepted my order. Two weeks later they contacted me saying that I had to prove I was using the device to obtain the supplies. They wanted me to spend an hour on the road driving to their office and back with my CPAP SD card so they could read it and verify my usage. I proposed emailing the contents of the card to them, placing them in cloud storage and sending the link, or sending them the UserID and password of the web site that records my CPAP data. None of that was acceptable, but they said I could mail the SD card to them which I did. Over the next 2 months I called Lincare Boston office repeatedly to find out what was happening. Twice the Boston number forwarded to the home office where they couldn't help me, 4 times I waited 15 to 20 min. but no one answered, once someone answered and said someone would call me back but no one did, and finally someone picked up and said "Hello", I said "Is this Lincare", and they immediately hung up. Twice I called the main office number and was told that a previous order was cancelled because they still needed proof of use, and that I needed to work it out with the Boston office. Finally I again tried the main office and was told that proof of use was no longer needed and they took my order for the third time. At this time I have no idea if I'll actually receive the order or ever get my SD card back. This level of customer service is atrocious. To be fair most of the representatives at the home office were sympathetic and tried to help. On the other hand the Boston office staff either did not answer, lied, or were rude when they did. It's hard to understand how a company could provide a poorer support experience than Lincare, and I suggest anyone who is interested in the services they provide look elsewhere. read more

Stuck with these wretched people because my insurance has a 5 year contract. They short me oxygen tanks most of the time. Today I waited all day and finally found out that someone "forgot" to put my order in. I hope that they are resting well and breathing freely. I would not wish what i feel on my worst enemy. In the 20-plus years I've been a CPAP user, I've never had such poor service. Used to get automatic robo-calls for routine supplies -- lately I noticed that I was long overdue for supplies. Took some doing to learn that LINCARE was now the provider. Why no resupply calls? Phone call to them informed me that my file was listed "NONCOMPLIANT". What the fug!? Not even a call to me to tell me this. Several follow up calls to them gave me poor info for what they need to verify my compliance. It was like pulling teeth. My doctor was disgusted with them. I'm still working on trying to get them what they need. After reading so many poor reviews on Lincare I realize that I will have to be on them like a junk yard dog to get the supplies necessary for my health. Good grief. I have to deal with the Chelmsford MA office of Lincare. It is not easy....believe me. The initial delivery was excellent. However trying to get subsequent deliveries has been impossible. I have been trying for 3 weeks to get delivery and am now promised it 2 days from now. After 2 weeks I asked for help from Mass General Hospital. Even that didn't work. Delivery was promised but did not happen. If your insurance or hospital can give you another source I would take it. I have no experience prior to this but this has not been good at all. read more

I have been using Lincare for the last three years. They have done nothing but give me grief and anxiety. The final straw was this weekend. On 9/2/2020 I ordered my husbands tube feed. It is his only source of nutrition. I received the boxes on 9/4/2020. They didn't look right. This is because they weren't right. Lincare sent my husband who is 71 years old Pediasure Enteral formula instead of his Promote with Fiber. Pediasure is for children. I cannot give my husband the Pediasure even in an emergency and I don't have much more of the Promote with Fiber left. Definitely, not enough for the weekend to Tuesday. I called Lincare's non- customer service and get a very nice young lady who said she would have someone call me back. The whole thing boils down to the following phrases "We can't (I hear won't) help you till Tuesday" and "Call your doctor." What the hell is his doctor going to do other than tell me he can't help me. Now my only recourse is to buy a box (if I can find one) from a local medical pharmacy who may or may not have what he needs. I have had to do this with other medical supplies in the past with these people. It took them two years to get his respiratory order right and they still mess it up from time to time. I've been in Medical Receivables 30 years and have never had as many billing issues from 10/2019 thru 12/1/2019. Billing me incorrect amounts, adding charges to my bill that they shouldn't, 14 phone calls all sending me to different people. Never can speak with the same person. RUDE on top of it. I had to have Blue Cross call them on a 3 way call for 45 mins and they also can't believe how this company works. STAY AWAY from any company that uses these incompetent people. I appreciate that I have a CPAP machine and that through Lincare, my insurance will pay for it. An I appreciate that the business is probably stressful and is not structured to prioritize and reward customer/patient service excellence. And the are selected by the physician, not the patient suboptimizing patient care. Still, I was pretty shocked by how unpleasant it was dealing with them. *dropped the ball several times (sent paperwork to wrong office, failed to send information to each other, waiting indefinitely on missing insurance information, they actually had on file) *Clinician needs coaching on her communication skills. She was evasive, impatient and frustrated with me for asking questions. I was not rude or unreasonable, but needed a clinician to patiently address concerns and questions, and she did not seem to think she had any obligation to do that. She told me i must not be having difficulty thinking or retaining information becase of my sleep apnea. While that didn't offend me, its super irresponsible to undermine my concerns by attributing them to a compromised mental faculty. read more

It took a few months to get a medical bed only to have it delivered incomplete; communication is poor. Go to the place and Its mess and disorganized. It felt like the staff wanted to help, but were unable to do so without their manager who was not in that day. You need a lot of patience and time to deal with Lincare. My husband gets his CPAK supplies from them and it has been nothing but problems, delays and run arounds. If you have a choice DO NOT use Lincare. We ordered replace supplies in DEC 2017. When he received them they were the wrong items. Due to travel we could not immediately follow up with them but then on January 8, 2018 a Lincare representative called my husband to follow up on the supplies sent in DEC. He explain the problem and the rep said he would ship out the right supplies - GREAT but NOT. February 2, 2018 he called Lincare, waited on hold for 30 minutes, to have the rep , give him a UPS tracking number. So he hung up went to the UPS tracking site only to find out the number was invalid. So he called Lincare back, waited on hold for only 25 minutes and talked to the same rep again. Story changed - now he was told the order was being held up due to our insurance not approving the equipment. February 5, 2018 he called the insurance company. They could find nothing pending and verified his authorization for the equipment was valid. So he called Lincare, waited on hold for almost 40 minutes, to find out the equipment shipped on Friday February 2nd!!! Not sure who runs this company but we are looking for another CPAK provider. read more

Lincaire needs to change its name to does not care. My husband's been on CPAP for 8 years. During a recent hospitalization his sats were in the 80s even with the CPAP so we started the process to get a new one. Last week we got an E3 error message and his machine no longer works. He has been trying to get a new one all week or a rental or something and no-one seems to understand that he needs a machine to sleep. The best they can do is tuesday! Absolutely terrible! not only did it take months and multiple phone calls to get them to acknowledge that I was authorized to get equipment but even longer for them to schedule a setup visit. The facility was a mess, the door to enter for patient services not clearly marked, ended up walking into their "business office area" and being told I should have used the other door which wasn't marked. Have yet to get any of the promised supplies and was informed by my doctor that I have to call them to get anything. I had to use this provider as they were the only one my doctors office dealt with, now I find out that it took multiple complaints and issues from other patients for the office to switch away from them but since I just got my equipment this year I am stuck with them until an undisclosed period of time when I will be allowed to switch. If you have the option don't waste your time or money and instead get your equipment and services elsewhere. read more

We worked with Lincare in Hanover PA before we moved last summer. Since we moved, we've had one visit from a technician in 12 months. My Mother-in-law is on 6L and is homebound because she has no portable tanks. We have called them repeatedly to no avail. Talked to two different "managers" to no avail. And today my wife went there to get her prescribed auto-CPAP and not only was the woman there condescending, rude and patronizing, but she sprang a never before mentioned $200+ charge on her after over an hour in the 'store'. Speaking of the store. It looks more like a hoarder's den than a business. After being a Lincare customer for over 10 years. We're jumping ship to another home oxygen supplier. read more
