Very expensive.. The worst thing is few places are free parking and few they have meters. Somerville city has 8 am - 8 pm parking and rest of the neighboring towns are free after 6 pm and holidays. I got parking ticket on Halloween day (Which is not American holiday :) )at 7 pm and there are no posted parking timings either in the block I parked or on the meter.. Great outdoor shopping venue in Somerville not too far from when I live. The orange line T stop is right nearby so to avoid any parking chaos as past reviewes have mentioned, just take the train. Not only is there a nice selection of outlet stores and restaurants, but there is also an AMC movie theater and several big box shops like Bed Bath & Beyond, Burlington Coat Factory, etc. A nice alternative to a mall while avoiding the busy shops in the touristy areas of downtown Boston. read more

This place may be great for all the new rich hipsters that have moved to the area, rich tourists, and rich wanderers from Boston, but some of us live here and need to run to Kmart or TJ Maxx for necessities. This is becoming increasingly impossible. The parking lot is absolutely insane all of the time. Walking around is treacherous due to the poor layout of streets, parking lots, and sidewalks. Was there even a design plan that considered the interaction of cars and pedestrians, or were some sidewalks thrown in, accompanied with a Hail Mary, praying that it would all work out somehow? The entire area is in sore need traffic lights. I am surprised that no one has died from an accident. The new Assembly Row stores are seriously overpriced. If you want to pay full price for a sweater or shoes, go to the mall where you can walk around without the threat of being run over, and won't need to brace yourself from the freezing wind coming off the Mystic River. There is talk of building a walkway connecting Assembly Row to the future casino. Brilliant idea. That will just make this nightmare of a place a full-on shitshow. read more

My daughter and I visited Assembly Row for lunch and shopping on December 3rd. When we returned to the car, we discovered a $100 parking ticket. I parked on the street next to the Express Outlet (no room in the garages). There we no "No Parking" signs anywhere on the street. We did notice a bus stop further up on the street and I am assuming this is why I received the parking ticket. I contacted Assembly Row management and they responded that I am on my own. They offered me an Assembly Row welcome packet for the next time I visit. They can keep their welcome packet. I will not be visiting Assembly Row again as I now need to pay a $100 parking ticket which I feel is excessive. read more

I got a great pair of adidas here so I am happy. If they open up a Famous Footwear with Rockports, then they will get a five star. This is the place to go for sneakers and shoes. The other businesses here are fine, but this is what the place will become known for, footwear. read more

As Somerville residents, my boyfriend and I spend alot of time walking through Assembly Row and along the river. Many times, we have ventured into Wilson's Leather, and I can honestly say we've never walked out empty-handed. This store has a wonderful selection of leather jackets and pocketbooks at incredibly low prices, in addition to non-leather items such as wool and trench coats. The staff is very nice and always looking to assist you. Matt, the manager, recently went above and beyond for us in helping locate the size of the leather jacket I had fallen in love with. The lovely Calvin Klein trench coat I bought from them last year gets raves every time I wear it. No joke...this place is an enjoyable shop to explore and you can be sure the quality and the prices will please you. read more

Watch out when parking in the parking garage. Three hours is supposed to be free according to the posted amount. They ended up charging me a dollar anyway. Yes in the scheme of things very small but multiply that out of overcharging every single car in the people then the don't protest the charge. That's a complete ripoff. Also I strongly avoid visiting it on weekend afternoons because traffic and parking is unacceptable. It must be very trendy right now. read more

I used to love shopping here. However the experience I had this morning with the parking garage has totally ruined my opinion of assembly row. This is Sunday morning. Not a very busy time. The parking gate malfunctioned and would not read my credit card (I tried 3). Okay- buzzed for support. Meanwhile a line of angry people formed behind me. Going in the support lady was helpful and took my info and let me in. First three hours are free so when I tried to get out of the garage i again had to buzz for support. This time a different (nasty ) lady gave me a hard time- took forever to answer when I buzzed and was cranky. Artisan east garage at about noon. I won't be spending my money here anymore. read more

I would give this a zero star if I could. We have been coming to Assembly Row since it opened, and the quality has steadily decreased over time. The parking situation is a headache and struggle every time. The garage is always packed, and the street lots seem to be open and closed randomly, forcing you to pay an entry fee or find a metered spot- so it is actually not "free parking." The restaurant experience always involves lines and delayed service, they are dirty and overcrowded. The stores also already seem rundown and this place has only been open a couple of years? I recently reached out to the management with a concern and they barely addressed it, poor customer service on all ends. I will be taking my shopping experience elsewhere... Legacy place is so much better and worth the drive! read more

Great place, however the developers got greedy, replaced all the parking lots with shops, restaurants and businesses and forgot that customers need a place to put their vehicles to actually enjoy all the "amenities." We visited today for lunch, went into one garage, used the ticketless credit card system, wound all the way to the top following a dozen other cars, only to have to turn around because - surprise! - the garage was actually full. There were no attendants, no signs. We waited in line to exit. Then we joined the other hundreds of vehicles trying to find a garage that wasn't full, or poaching street parking. The place fills up fast and there's nowhere near enough parking to handle the crowds. Maybe this is fine if you're on foot, but the Orange Line can't handle the volume, and if your intention is to shop, are you seriously going to haul bags around for hours, catch the T and lug them all home with you on foot?? If you can afford a Lyft, great. Otherwise, too much hassle to bother going. read more

Can get pretty crowded but that shows how much the area is liked. I wish it was all retail space instead of corner to corner fancy luxury condos. It works I guess. At night the place is stunning with the trees lighting the street path. Parking is no longer free and the car line can get pretty long. The intersection where Nike is has no traffic light so can be dangerous to cross and drive. read more

let me say two things first 1. This is not a review for any of the specific shops and restaurants. I love having an outlet mall thats close by (not having to go all the way to wrentham) and I love the Slumbrew beer garden, some of the restaurants, and the movie theater is awesome. 2. 6-12 months ago this would have been a 4-5 star review. But things have changed. Since they closed some of the surface parking lots for more development, it's a complete disaster going there by car, which I'm guessing is 90% of the people going there. Good luck finding a parking spot. Today, all surface lots were full. The main garage was full, they direct you to another garage, and that one results in a filled up dead end to resident only parking. This places generates road rage for finding a parking spot now. The other day I had someone screaming and honking at me because they thought they were there first. Even if the main garage isn't full you spend 15-20 minutes just getting in there and to the top levels where empty spaces are. You want to go to BBB or Sports Authority across the st? Forget it. Hope you're lucky and someone goes to pull out as you're driving by, but it's more likely someones been sitting there waiting for 5-10 min. The traffic in, out, and around is horrible. Basically unless you go before 11am good luck. Took me over half an hour just to find a place to park the last 2 times I went. And to think they're making it bigger. I just don't see how they can handle the amount of cars coming in and out. It's like Wrenthem on Christmas every weekend. read more

would be better if there are more variety of stores. so far the stores that are opened are sports related or don't appeal to the mass like the french cookery store. then other places that are opened aren't very special. it's just like station landing across the bridge but bigger. they need to continue adding more stores otherwise it's going to lose it's appeal. there's not much to do in the area other than those few stores. you walk out of assembly row and it's like in the middle of nowhere. this place is like a plaza built with condos. read more

This place is a nightmare. The traffic flow makes it impossible to get around as a driver or a pedestrian. Many of the intersections have no signs so it's just a free for all of drivers cutting people off and pedestrians walking in front of cars. The selection of stores is fine but for the time you'll spend looking for parking (which is insufficient), you could drive out to Burlington and find the same stores. read more

Assembly Row is really living up to the promises. I have been taking the free outdoor yoga classes sponsored by the property management team, and it has been a real treat. I was also able to pick up some gear for my new hobby at the nearby outlet stores, at terrific values. It's delightful to walk over through the waterfront park to either work out with new friends, grab an ice cream, or see a film. When the transit it complete, and the rest of the place fills out, it's going to be amazing. Really pleased to have them as new neighbors. read more

Good thing for me bad for my wallet, I always tend to find something super cute and trendy. I never truly got into charlotte russe until this store. It is so warm, bright, and welcoming. The girls who work there are awesome; there when I need them, but mind their business cause I like shopping in privacy (just a quirk of mine). The dressing rooms are so pretty with tall ceilings and doors. The lighting isnt too powerful so I dont see my every flaw (thank you sincerely for that). I never waited long in the check out lines. Just a great place. Also january they have super cheap sales... pretty much everything is $5-15... thoroughly impressed. read more

Lucky Brand Jeans. As much as I love their jeans,their outlet store at Assembly Row in Somerville, MA has the worst customer service ever. Sales associates are not friendly at all and they have a major problem with their attitudes. You walk in to the store and nobody greets you, nobody offers you to help find anything. I recently went in to exchange jeans, that I bought, and their reaction was awful. I got an attitude and was treated like I'm less of a person than those people who works there. I worked in retail for a while, at some point in my life, and I know what kind of customer service sales associates has to provide to their customers, and let me tel you, the service that I got at the Lucky Brand outlet was far worst that I ever had in my shopping experience. I will reconsider going there again. read more

Very disappointed with the Adidas Factory Outlet! My daughter and 2 of her friends went shopping and security approached them and asked if they were going to buy anything because they look SUSPICIOUS! then told them that they have cameras so don"t do anything funny! Unfortunately my teen and her friends bought items from them even though they were threatened. Security also waited outside for them. When I heard about this, I called and asked to speak to a manager and Dave was the manager on at the time. NEVER called me back after calling twice to talk about the incident! Too bad that they don't respect their customers. I will never let my kid shop there again!!! read more
