Based on previous complaints and comments on this forum, it is clear that the organization does not address what is falling apart. My grandson is 7. He is smart, he is compassionate, and he is a talented player that until the most recent incident had a love for the game. Do better PSA. It appears your organization lacks to "empower every athlete to grow and succeed," by continuing to ignore the pleas and complaints that I am sure are filling your plate. It is clear you do not have any official's supervisors at the buildings during your games to mentor the officials. Children/players are here to grow and learn with volunteer coaches that give their time to teach and grow these young athletes. When you do not address the issues, you undo what these coaches are unselfishly trying to accomplish with these young, impressionable players. When you allow your refs to condone bad behavior or violate the rules of the game, what are you teaching these children? You are a non-profit with an unpaid Board of Directors who clearly are not privy to what is happening. It's unraveling underneath you and you need to acknowledge the issues that have arose since my children participated in youth sports at PSA.

They have several recreation centers with indoor pools. The one at Oak Point is the closest to me, so go here even though my membership is good at all of Plano's recreation centers. The first time I tried this out, I bought a one month pass for $33. That's the cost if you are not a resident of Plano. After enjoying my weekly experience swimming here, I decided to invest in an annual membership. It's over $200 for non-residents, but since my city doesn't have an indoor pool available year round for residents, this is my only option. This is an olympic sized pool, but the lap lanes are lined for the short course of 25 yards instead of the long course of 50 yards. Thank goodness because I'm horribly out of shape. I love that when I come, I can usually split the lane with someone. It's rarely crowded, and plenty of people are lucky enough to get a lane to themselves. There is usually a lane reserved for water walking. Sometimes there are other activities that take place and many of the lanes are closed for reserved groups like swim team or water aerobics classes. This pool also features a deep end with a diving board. On the other side, there is a jungle gym obstacle course pool area. Off to the side is a shallow toddler pool. Outside there are two more pools! One of the outside pools has a shore entrance and periodically a horn sounds to let you know that some wave action is about to start. The two outdoor pools are popular with kids and families. During the summer months, the outdoor pools are open every day. After Labor Day, I think they are only open on the weekends. My membership allows me access to other Plano recreational facilities. Also, there is a gym inside Oak Point with free weights, weight machines, and cardio equipment like treadmills. I haven't even been into the gym yet. Not sure I ever will. I'm just so happy to be able to swim year around in the indoor pool.

On the website, they offer a lot of free activities for first timers, whether it be learning hockey or just even skating on ice. The public skating is 2 hours long, and they provide rental skates at an extra charge. The AT&T high school hockey also plays hockey here and at the surrounding rinks. Our big extended family came here on a Groupon to ice skate. I wasn't too impressed with our…read moreexperience. There are only two sessions (at least on the weekday we went): 4-6p and 6:15-8p. So, no skating during the day. The ice skates are plastic and have plastic straps on them (think roller blade style). The big problem with them is that they have absolutely no give. I literally did a lap and a half and my feet/calves were hurting so bad that I got off the ice and sat out the rest of the session. Not one person in our group lasted the whole time, and the ones who lasted the longest had to come off the ice to take off the skates and rest their feet before going back out. Also, there were quite a few large chunks in the ice; it wasn't smooth at all. One of my sisters got tripped and hit her head pretty hard on the ice (ended up being a grade II concussion) and the girl who worked there slowly skated over, asked if she was ok (to which she replied that she wasn't), and asked her to get off the ice. We won't be back.

I believe there are two entrances (uncertain if one entrance is for special guests only) and the line goes by quick (just make sure you pull up your tickets). We were immediately greeted by the Texas Legends mascot. The School of Rock The Colony were playing on the right of the main entrance. We walked around and visited 2-3 vendors handing out swag. There's a small playground on the left side for little ones with some seating areas for big ones. Across the way, there's an inflatables Kid Zone (about four bounce houses, one soccer, and one basketball) for $5 each kid. We went at the beginning of September when it was still 90 degrees at 7 pm. Fortunately, we were under the shade so it didn't feel so bad. Throughout the game, there were deals for special plays. For instance (making this up since I can't remember exactly), Jet's Pizza offered free corner pizzas since the RoughRiders hit a double. One of the concession stands offered $3 off an alcoholic drink because of a particular play. That was nice! A gentleman went around selling raffle tickets called 50/50. I don't know how often they draw the tickets, but you purchase a certain amount of tickets (the more you purchase, the better the discount) and it goes into a prize pool. They wait a few games and draw a winner. The winner will keep 50% of the pool. For our raffle, the winner won over $3,000. Check out their site as you can book group outings (sit in a wagon or the terrace), first pitch, and lazy river. They have special nights and will have fireworks on certain nights (cancelled when we went due to the burn bạn). The biggest downside about the stadium, though it's expected, is the cost of concessions. A bottle of water goes for $6 or so. Eat and drink before you go so you don't have to spend so much money at the game. The coolest thing about the game is that we sat in section 121 and at the end of every inning, a player would toss a ball in our direction. Book section 121 and bring your baseball mitt.
