Since it was still in warranty we declined and took the watch to an authorised repairer. The watch at that point had no battery in, and the coil was found to be broken, which can only happen by someone forcing the battery incorrectly. This cost us an extra £80 due to their incompetence and negligence. It was their mistake, but they tried to cover it up by requiring a £200 "service". They are incompetent and dishonest - had they owned up to the error we would have thought better of them.

I used my trusty app to locate a watch repair shop near by and wondered down. I was however very aware of the fact that I was in Chelsea and heading to quite a suave Watch shop who did repairs, not repair shop that did watches. We arrived and I knocked on the door - a gentlemen came over and unlocked the door and I explained why I was there. The gentleman invited me in and asked what watch it was and I told him, Michael Kors. He replied - 'Ah, usually we wouldn't but I used to work for them so go on then...' He measured my wrist and headed downstairs. Within 5 minutes he had taken out the links and my watch fitted beautifully. I asked 'how much?' and he said no charge - no charge, in Chelsea! Winning! And off I went! Great customer service, polite and welcoming gentleman and my beautiful watch now sits perfectly on my list! HAPPY.

My friend wanted to come here because she bought her favourite pair of earrings here yeears ago...so we came in for a bit of a mooch. This place is full of interesting jewellery- some of it was gorgeous/ some of it was not really to my taste. BUT Jewellery is always a very personal thing to choose - so maybe other yelpers'd like the things I cringed at. There was also a large selection of different minerals and gemstones for sale...so this place would make any collector of stones happy.
