He said his crew would be here at 7:30am, since removal of the trees would take almost the whole day, including stump grinding. At 9:15 I called to find out where his crew was, and he said he wasn't sure and would call me right back. A half hour later, I called him back (he never called) and he said he didn't have the appointment in his calendar. I'm not sure if he just wasn't going to call back or what, but I didn't ask. Anyway, he never once said sorry, but he did keep repeating that it wasn't in his calendar, but that he would call me back later in the day to reschedule. It's been 2 days now, and guess what? No call. Very unprofessional. It's 2018. It's not hard to call someone back, or to put a name in a cale UPDATE: Bill reached out to me almost immediately after posting this review and apologized. Then, he was extremely responsive while we worked through rescheduling. His crew completed the work recently and they did a fantastic job. Jim just completed an amazing restoration in our log cabin. After 50 years, we knew we had some…read morewall damage and some critters and Jim faced our challenges head on. He devised a plan to preserve as much of the original pine walls as possible and integrated the new pieces beautifully. He identified the root of the problem - leaks at the chimney - and he had it sealed and patched fast. We then made a surprise discovery - our old log beam mantle had rotted through. We had no idea how we would find a piece of wood that would match the cabin and Jim worked magic. In two hours he found a gorgeous salvage mantle replacement - amazing.
