DO NOT GET PIERCED HERE! The piercer Serena Barbosa was very unprofessional and couldnt pierce a tragus properly and completely made it crooked which split the ear and damaged the cartilage and she still tried charging for it until we said it was bad. then she took out the jewelry and blamed it on the anatomy of the ear. She did NOT say anything about the anatomy of the ear being too small before doing the piercing and waited until after to say that the ear is too small to support that type of piercing. IF SHE KNEW THAT IT WAS TOO SMALL BEFORE PIERCING THEN WHY DID SHE PIERCE IT AND NOT WARN THE CLIENT? I understand that people make mistakes even professionals but Serena is the farthest thing from a professional. she is a 21 year old girl who doesnt know what shes doing and i doubt sh is actually certified. ALSO DID I MENTION SHE FORGOT TO WASH HER HANDS BEFORE DOING THE PIERCING! The worst part by far was how they handled the situation after we explained to her boss what happened. He basically said well you signed a contract so its not our fault and didnt apologize or attempt to make the situation better or at least recognize Serena was in the wrong. He kept saying "Its not our fault if you didnt like the piercing." WE DIDNT LIKE THE PIERCING BECAUSE SHE MUTILATED HER EAR.. WHO WOULD LIKE THAT??? Even if they perform good tattoo work i wouldnt come here for any work just based on how they handled the situation. Went in and the portly fella, who is the owner, behind the counter immediately derided one of my tattoos as I explained what I wanted. I walked out and didn't bother pursuing their services purely based on that. Not looking for opinions on my preexisting tattoos, thanks. It didn't feel welcoming as I initially walked in and had the hostility that certain tattoo studios are inclined to have. Wouldn't recommend. Looking at some of the pictures of their work made me feel very anxious too since it was pretty amatuer and lackadaisical. There are a plethora of tattoo shops in South county and if the owner of the place comes across as an imprudent dweeb, then why bother giving him your money? read more

Totally ignored the fact that I've been waiting for my tattoo and took a regular to the back for a piercing who showed up after closing , left 30 mins after closing only to see ALL artists and piercers along with the regular laughing and sitting around while an overflowing lobby were waiting. Got a piercing done here and the piercer Oscar did a really good job! Everything was sterile and my piercing heeled really well with no sign of infection. I did have trouble getting the earring off and they told me to come in and they popped it off for me. DONT GET PIERCED HERE! They are very inexperienced. I've been pierced three times here, but the last one was awful. One of my piercings got infected because she picked too small of a hoop for my Orbital. I stated that it felt uncomfortable and too tight around my ear, but she claimed it was correct and that I needed to wait until the swelling went down. After it got EXTREMELY INFECTED because the hoop was too small (guys, the hoop wouldn't even close all the way), I got a second opinion from another piercer, and she told me I need to see a dermatologist because of how incorrect the piercing was done. I have a huge scar now. Save your beautiful ears, don't go here:) read more

Came here originally because I followed Trigger after he left the other shop to have him touch up work he did. Since then, I've gotten multiple tattoos here. I came on Friday the 13th for their special and had Blake pierce my septum. He was super helpful and knowledgeable of what he was doing. I came the next day and had Justin tattoo my ankle. Even though it was painful for me he was very patient and steady handed. I refer my friends here because out of all the 5 different tattoo artists and piercers I've had before, all have been amazing! Shay did a great job with my nipple piercings. Everything was clean and sterile and she took her time, marking the holes before she pierced and asking me to look and make sure I liked their location. She has great bedside manner and got me some water when my adrenaline hit after the first piercing, which is just how my body reacts to getting pierced. Came here to get a belly button piercing and a daith piercing. The belly button turned out fine, no issues; however, the daith did not turn out so well. The guy who did my daith pierced the hole crooked and did not screw the ball in tight enough, causing the jewelry to fall out a day later. I got my seconds pierced here a few weeks ago and I would not suggest going here for earlobe piercings. I'm sure this place does an excellent job at other piercings - the place was very clean and everything they used was sterile - but I don't think they are used to ear lobe piercings. The reason I say this is they only had ONE option of earrings, I couldn't even choose which ones I wanted, and on one ear the piercing was pierced crooked. The back of it crossed over my first piercing's backing and I assume this would've made it very difficult to change out. It is also very noticeably crooked from the front view because you can only see the side of the earring. I am now out of town so I cannot return to try to get it re-done, but I ended up taking the earring out because I was not happy with it. The total price was $30, which was a very good price, but now I have $15 down the drain. Side note: The earrings the used had horrible backings, one of the backings fell off without me knowing. They should not be this loose!! read more

I came to this place because I needed to get a cartilage piercing fixed that another place had messed up. A girl named Justine helped me out and I swear she was the nicest person ever! She GENUINELY cared about the health of my piercing. She even told me that, from then on, her and I would be friends and I can always call her if I ever have questions or need help with any piercing issues. I felt so comforted by her kindness that I will definitely be coming back when I get my belly button piercing. I will not be a return customer because of the crooked belly piercing and the owner's condescending, rude, unprofessional, and repugnant attitude on the phone. I simply called to ask questions and he seemed irritated that I was asking him questions. Although I always support small businesses, this one I cannot bring myself to because of the owners demeanor. As it pertains to the piercing gal,she was sweet and friendly, however the placement of belly piercing left much to be desired. The belly piercing is crooked and is off by 1/5 of an inch from the center.. That is an exact measurement after it has completed healing.. Also the lip piercing, it's also at a slant. It's very noticeable with a stud in. Not only is the lip piercing slanted, while she was marking it, it was off by so much. It was nowhere near the middle. She was going to the side of my lip. The shorty workmanship and unprofessional demeanor of the owner on the phone are the reasons for the one star review and why I will not be a return customer. The worst part is the piercer is the owners wife. So I did see the point in saying anything to him about her. Also how rude he was, didn't see the point. The piercer mentioned she had just started that year. I literally wanted to walk out but unfortunately didn't. One should always trust their gut instinct. Mine said leave. read more

Very nice shop, great artists. They're never prepared for Friday the 13th sales, though, which is aggravating. It's 2019, taking walk-ins on a clipboard is just not efficient anymore. If they went to a digital system, they would definitely be able to be more efficient and keep a long ass line from collecting outside the shop. If they were able to alert people when their tattoo artist was almost done or completely finished with the previous person, people wouldn't waste 6+ hours waiting for a 3-inch tattoo. Dont go here they ruined my tattoos!! I came here to get tattooed by professionals but instead of handing me to a good artist. They handed me to apprentices who dont even know what they're doing. My tattoo scabbed and it's super shaky. Serena and Shay are BOTH apprentices and cant tattoo at all. They act like they know what they're doing but their work sucks.
