I've had consistently great experiences at Aspire Dermatology. Every dermatologist I've seen has been extremely knowledgeable and easy to work with. Shaina in the Medical Aesthetics Center is fantastic--I've been seeing her for years for everything from facials to laser treatments. She's highly skilled, very knowledgeable, and genuinely lovely to spend time with. They recently introduced an online booking system, which sounds great in theory but has been somewhat frustrating to use, and I often end up calling anyway. The in-office receptionists are wonderful--friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful--but phone support feels more centralized and less informed. Uncurious dermatologists. The staff is pleasant enough but appointments are rushed. The doctors at Aspire don't spend any real time examining skin problems. I had a painful welted rash on my scalp and went to this office twice to figure out what might be causing the issue. Neither time did the doctors ask basic questions such as, had I been traveling lately, any new medications, hair products ? Yes was the answer to questions not asked. Barely examining me the doctors pronounced that the rash was most likely a seasonal allergy which seemed odd because I've never had a seasonal rash before. A topical steroid was prescribed. After almost 2 weeks, there was no change. Finally I went to AP Dermatology in east Greenwich. The doctors there, all excellent, take a real interest in skin problems patients present. They don't always have the answers but they try to figure things out and you feel they are serious about trying to solve your skin issues. My dermatologist at this practice prescribed a regime of medications that thankfully, in a short period of time, is finally working. If you have serious skin issues I wouldn't recommend heading to Aspire. From my experience, this chain is mostly about money. read more

I've been going to Dr. Micheals and his team since he open his practice in east providence. Always professional and answers all your questions. Office staff are very helpful all the practices are extremely clean. There Covid precautions are in place and followed. I've also been with Laurie Anne for several years for my Dysport. Love her!! Always accommodating . No complaints. read more

I finally got insurance, saw my general practitioner, and then got a referral to Aspire Dermatology in Middletown. I am soooo happy with the doctor and their staff! The doctor listened to me, looked at my skin and knew exactly how to treat me and asked all the right questions. When the pharmacy told me that one of my Rx's was not covered by my insurance, they said it would need a prior authorization so they contacted Aspire. The next day the pharmacy was able to give it to me for a very good cash price. The da after that a staff member of Aspire called me to see if I had been able to get the Rx in question. I love the genuine concern that everyone at Aspire has for their patients! I want to tell the wold how great they are. read more

EZ appt process And all charges & my insurance were explained fully! Dr Comeau was a pro along with medical asst. didn't feel rushed, had all issues reviewed. I called the office before returning from a traveling nurse assignment in Maine to ask what insurance they take because I would have to take time off before my next assignment to have a possibly cancerous new mole removed. They told me, so I got the insurance and while waiting for cards in the mail, I made an appointment. It was several weeks away, and time was of the essence, so I called them once my insurance cards came and they said nope, they don't take state insurance at all. The woman Chelsea seemed to think this was a light matter and had an attitude that this was my fault, because she was too poor at listening that she didn't hear what I was saying about initial call. Either she is incredibly stupid or simply is not fit for her job because she really seemed annoyed by the whole issue, and put me on hold when I asked for a manager and never returned. this is not the first bad experience I have had with them. Prior to this, the MD proceeded with procedures without any warning, then made charges without explanation, and electrocuted me by having me hold on to a metal bar on the chair while using an electrical cauterizing device.
