It seemed like every time I visited there was different staff and different dentist. I like continuity when it comes to dental and medical visits and since I have frequent dental issues it becomes even more important to me. There was a time a few years ago where the staff was static. Dr Ramsey was an excellent dentist who knew all about my issues and the work that was done, but he was transferred to Tarpon Springs, so I then turned to Dr Ngo, but she is now part time at this office. Then every time I visited for a cleaning I had a different hygienist, then the office staff completely turned over and eventually every time I visited I had a different dentist, never had the same one back to back or even a second time. I decided to switch dentists and found another one and I was amazed! Modern equipment, short wait times, same day crowns (within 2 hours), easy booking and the same dentist and staff at every business. I contacted Aspen to get a refund of my account balance (around $200) and I've been trying for that refund for the past 6 months! I was told months ago that their systems were hacked and things were chaotic, but that time has passed. So I have called 3 times in the past 2 months and still nothing. I'll be calling again today and if I am nt satisfied it's off to the BBB to file a complaint there. I don't know if all Aspen offices are like this one, but I would strongly advise not going there especially if you have constant dental issues or you like to see the same faces at an establishment every time you visit. I don't know, but if employees are constantly coming and going then something is going on. read more

The employees are great but went to get dentures they told me for the basics dentures would be around $2200 I had teeth that needed to be extracted so the total bill was over $3000 and that I would get a temporary denture where the teeth were extracted , ok so comes to were it's been 6 months and getting my bottom dentures since I only had temporary dentures on the bottom they say my temporary dentures are my permanent dentures only they reline the temporary dentures and call it ur permanent dentures, 3 months in from having teeth extractions the temporary dentures become very loose so they put in a soft liner now they r telling me that they have to put in a hard liner in my temporary dentures and those will be my permanent dentures, the dentures I got were basics dentures for me to get another bottom denture I would have to pay more money, basic dentures with a temporary denture from what other dentist has told me is temporary dentures are only that when ur gums has healed u go in for a new gum cast and they make ur permanent denture ,not just re lining ur temporary dentures, From what I have checked with other dentist aspen dental basics dentures cost is what other dentists mid grade dentures cost ,so saying that seems like they are ripping off customers read more

Can I give less than 1 star? Was a patient at Dale Mabry office 8 months ago to replace existing dentures. They made major errors with the impressions and produced a new sit of dentures that did not fit in my mouth. After much discussion and frustration they kept the 'new' dentures and refunded my out of pocket cost. Today they called to tell me I have a collection amount of $1320 for the dentures they delivered in March. I asked for an office manager but one was not available. I said over and over again I do not have the dentures. The billing rep kept talking over me telling me I need to pay even if I didn't keep the dentures because the my were delivered to me in March. She also told me their billing system crashed in April and they lost much of their information . So just randomly after not hearing from them fir 8 months they want me to pay for dentures that I was unable to use and they kept. It is almost comical but let this be a warning to others. Be very careful about going to Aspen Dental. Their business practice is very shady. read more

Do not go here. This place is awful. I went for a cleaning and a filling. When I walked in the dentist was sitting in the waiting room playing a game on his phone. My "cleaning" took 2 mins, the hygienist gave me too much numbing for my filling and hit a nerve, the dental assistant came in and tried to give me Another shot. They completely paralyzed my face. I couldn't move my face for over 24 hrs. The dentist eventually came in and said "let's get this done" my filling was over in less than a minute and he was out for the day. I made my appoint with them, showed up with all my documents and arrived 15 mins early just like I was asked to. 45 mins into waiting, people walking right in and I do not even get acknowledged. I walk up and ask why. I'm told that they are backed up. Ok,.. well why wasn't I told ? As a patient youre expected to be punctual and tactful. Yet as a business apparently they do not have to have any amount of professionalism or punctuality. Stay away from this place. Went there they told me what I needed done I paid them and what I got was the worst dental experience of my life. The would not listen to anything I told them. Stayed in awful pain for over a month trying to tell them I could not bite because of the pain from sharp bone pieces. Was told to just Wait it would go away. Finally had another dentist look at me and got the bone trimmed down and pain left. They had to remake the temp dentures because they where to small.well they made them again just like the first ones. Said this is what I needed not what I wanted. After telling them this would not work they said well we can't do what you want give us back the teeth and we will refund your money. Now without teeth waiting on my money back. These guys where a waste of time. Also they have been working on the wife's for three months and still not able to use them to eat. To much pain. They called me back today and informed me they could not refund my money until I let them make my permanent denture. These where temps. LISTEN! I don't do dentists.. period. I had a traumatic experience 10 years ago that made me stay far away. As luck would have it, I had a tooth pain that finally decided it wanted attention. They got me in same day, withn the hour I called. The staff was SO kind and friendly. They explained everything and gave me options. THEN the dreaded words ROOT CANAL were told. I went for it (I needed this pain, GONE) I opted for Nitrous in this procedure because I don't handle pain well AT ALL. Dr. Reham and her assistant were A DREAM! I felt NOTHING. The worst part of the entire procedure was her doing the cold test to confirm which tooth needed the procedure done.The actual procedure took 30 mins and I felt nothing... not even pressure. When I say I am TRULY thankful for this place and restoring my faith in getting back in the dentist chair, I truly mean it. First of all, they will not ask you, how much they would charge you for just cleaning, even if you have insurance. At least they will charge you $150 for no reason. Even if they tell you, it would cost you $100 dollars and you pay them then they will send you another bill couple of weeks later and tell you. You have a balance of another $50 because your insurance did not cover what we were expected. I went there three times, and every time I was disappointed and cost me more than what I was expected. 8:56 am 7/29/2021 bernard forrestal aspen dental: july 27th on tuesday in bradenton re: appointment for root canal. on 7/26/21, i called aspen dental for an appointment as they are in my altus dental plan network. aspen dental representative told me that to be seen by dr. blanco i would have to give them ($240) over the phone, cost for consultation. this above the ($85) i paid to dental implant for their consultation. altus would not see me without the consult from dental implants. i repeatedly informed the lady (aspen dental) taking my money that i needed to have the root canal done on the same day of the consult and she said that it was not an issue that i would have the procedure completed. i have terrible pain in my gums and jaws and more pressing was the fact that i recently had an aortic heart valve replacement and have been repeatedly told by surgeons and cardiac doctors how important it is that i do not develop a mouth/jaw infection as it could result in very serious complications of my heart requiring another heart surgery. i was seen by dr. blanco for a time frame of five to ten minutes ($240). i am glad i am in her network. she told me that she would see me next monday to perform the procedure and that she was sorry about the wrong information i was given. i was very very upset about how casual my situation was responded to. i then had a discussion with the office assistant manager and i think her name is erica. i told her that i would have went to another endodontist if i had been given the correct information about the procedure date. erica said she could not refund my $240 as the dr.blanco completed a the 5-10 minute evaluation. it happened that the hour and ten minutes i traveled to get to their bradenton dental office was not lost as an opening came available in the south sarasota altus dental office on 7/28/01. i took the appointment. i was then require to pay them nine hundred dollars ($900) for an in network root canal on tooth twenty, which is a bicuspid tooth. the next day i arrived at the aspen dental office in south sarasota and was again exposed to radiation without a shield in sight or being offered a shield. i guess old people do not get cancer. i was told that the root canal procedure that was completed in 15 to 20 minutes would cost me over two thousand dollars. i asked for an explanation of how the altus schedule played into the bill and i was not given a understandable explanation and informed to speak with erica the assistant manager and altus dental. aspen dental bradenton: there people in lobby unmasked while view by employees.the ceiling air handling vents covered in black mold causing a toxic environment. dental equipment seemed from the seventies. on 7/27/01 i rendered my dental x rays taken on 7/26/01 by dr krause and was told the x rays taken yesterday were corrupted and it was necessary for me to be exposed to more cancer causing radiation - repeatedly. will being seen in bradenton and treated by dr. blanco, who is a wonderful person and doctor, no one asked me about my medical history or the drugs i was on. when i was seen in south sarasota, i informed dr. blanco and she immediately correct this deficiency. when i entered the altus dental office in south sarasota the lady working the desk handed me a bill and instructed me to sign the bottom. i started to read the statement and asked questions about the content of the statement her tone became angry as she told me that i just need to sign it there. i will be appealing the bill with altus dental and am left feeling treated like cattle. so i receive this email from roxana follow her instruction to contact her. let's talk want to chat about your recent visit or office experience? please call me directly at (941)-248-3018 between the hours of 8am and 6pm on monday through friday, and i'm happy to help with anything you need. let's continue this journey of care together. i look forward to helping you now and in the future. keep on smiling, roxana i called roxana telephone number # at 3:10 pm today and its message states the mailbox is full and it disconnected me. more of the same stuff! read more

I originally went to Bright Now Dental for some major dental work. After being treated horribly by their "Specialist" and being given a 10 page quote that Indiana Jones couldn't decipher, I took my business to Aspen. At Aspen I wasn't treated like a horrible human being. They treated me with respect. The dental assistants were all very helpful. The dentist came in, explained the severity of my situation, and helped walk me through the process. Really did a great job at calming my nerves. After the exam, I was presented with a simple one page quote. I presumed that I was being quoted the cheapest possible dentures available. To my surprise, I was quoted using their best product. The price was amazing. And I didn't have to have PHD to understand it. And they even gave me payment options. After I had the procedure done, I had to go back off and on for 6months for adjustments. This is common. But every time I went in there the staff was amazing. For the first time in my life, thanks to Aspen and it's staff, I was able to smile with confidence and not feel embarrassed. I had some severe dental issues and went to Aspen Dental to have the work done. I was pleased with the work but the billing was horrendous. I went through their financing company and then got another duplicate billing. I didn't check into this until later but it did turn out to be a duplicate. So I had paid it and then went in at my next appointment and talked with the office manager and she confirmed the duplicate. The next set of procedures I had were taken care of because of this, rather than refund the money. I was ok with that. But I started to get little billings here and there and finally terminated my relationship with the company for the accounting practices. read more

Well I started having pain from a tooth a cracked in half a while back and decided it was time for me to get it removed. I found aspen dental online and made an appointment for 2/10/2015. The wait was a little long but once I went back for my X-rays I got to experience some of the best dentistry staff ever. The lady that did my X-rays was amazing and ever though it took her a while to get my X-ray's due to my pain she was very patient. Then when I went to the room to get my tooth removed the dentist was awesome I didn't feel a thing and it was so quick!! I agree with RUN LIKE HELL I will also be going on yelp and what ever online reviews are out there, Office Staff is horrible, every time I go in there I am charged extra for something, so today I go for cleaning I have been a patient for years and have spent thousands of dollars at this practice and I get there and Aisha wants to charge me double what the insurance will pay I have insurance call them and tell them I should only be charged $60.00 well she wont take a fax from the insurance company, wont listen to the insurance agent on the line, tells me oh well we can get a pre determination but that is gonna take over 30 days and then you can make an appointment! really that how a existing patient who has spent thousands is treated at this office, while all this was going on the office manager Stephanie was hiding in the back; I was told she was busy, I have filed a formal complaint with Delta Dental for the practice in tampa.
