Who doesn't judge me for not coming every year, but instead encourages me to come as often as I can--with compassion. That matters more than people realize. Because let's be real--managing chronic illness is already expensive, and then you still have to keep up with everything else outside of your regular doctors. As a non-DSO (independent) dentist, Dr. Green provides a level of genuine care and transparency that is incredibly hard to find these days. It is such a relief to visit a practice that actually honors its word and doesn't rely on frustrating bait-and-switch tactics or aggressively upsell you on expensive treatments you don't need. The entire process for a standard teeth cleaning, comprehensive exam, and x-rays was incredibly simple and very fairly priced. Bought the Groupon. Good value but the cleaning was not as in depth as I hoped. Quick cleaning with a sonic tool Vs actual scrapping. They did not floss my teeth at all. Polish was standard. Bite wing X-rays cost $50 of you want copies of them for yourself. Everyone at the office is nice. Not a bad experience, but not great. Unfortunately my honest review is that I wouldn't trust them with my oral health beyond this simple cleaning. read more

Stay far away from this dentist and staff! I went here for years but something has dramatically changed over the past few years. For one thing, his office equipment is very outdated, Dr. Green's manner to patients is now short and stern, the staff is very negative and off-putting, and they give you the "hard sell" technique when describing what your dental needs are. Add all these things together and one gets a pretty poor dental experience! I spent over $2,800 on new crowns that can't stay cemented in my mouth for very long. When I went back to his office, I was given an extremely hard and unpleasant time about it. I now go to a much better dentist, Dr. Nicole Mitchell in New Tampa, and have had my faith in dentistry completely restored! I wouldn't recommend this Dentist to my worst enemy! read more

I have been searching for a dentist office since I moved to FL from NY and I have finally found it. I used a Groupon for this visit which cost me $30. Upon arriving, I was pleasantly greeted by two young ladies who work the front. The office is very neat and clean. I filled out the paperwork and after waiting for a few minutes, I was directed into one of the rooms. One of the young ladies took my xrays and notified me that the doctor will be in shortly. Dr Michael Green was a pleasure to speak with, he informed me of everything from the xrays and began the cleaning. Once he finished, another young lady came in to shine/polish my teeth. Once finished, I was directed towards the front for payment and advised they will send a postcard for a 6 month cleaning and I was on my way out the door. Thank you to Dr Michael Green and the entire office staff, I will continue to come here for my cleanings. read more

Don't be fooled! After several years of treatment, the office missed a biggy. I was never told to get a deep cleaning. The tarter and bacteria kept building in my gums and has contributed to bone loss. Went to a new practice with modern technology; Not a note pad and a FLINTSTONE approach to dentistry. Am having deep cleanings now because I saw the bone loss with a myriad of xrays and photographs. Preventative care is abysmal at this office. Look at the archaic tools that the office has. Obviously doesn't want to spend the money. Good riddance. read more

This Dentist is a crook. His dentistry is extremely archaic. He has not updated to new technologies . He will tell you one thing about your mouth and then you will discover he lied. To where you have to go have his work fixed days later by another dentist. Who can actually perform his job properly. Now I'm left with an f-ed up mouth and an even bigger expense. I first came to this dentist through a Groupon deal. He has since given me 3 dental exams with x-rays, and two fillings. I really like this dentist. He is honest, professional and very caring. When another dentist told me I needed new crowns and a deep cleaning. I let Dr. Green give me a second opinion. He said I didn't need either one of those procedures. When the same thing happened to my daughter, another dentist told her that she needed a root canal, deep cleaning and two new fillings. Dr. Green gave her a second opinion and told her she didn't need any of that. I believe that there are a lot of dentist out there who are only doing this to make a buck any way they can by exaggerating dental exams, lying about what is needed, and basically "bait and switch", trying to up sell the patient who is wholly dependent upon the dentist integrity and expert opinion about what is needed. Office staff has told us 3 different times the wrong time when we show up they act like it's our fault.

I went to this doctor for a cleaning and consultation to have a crown replaced. The tech that did my x-rays was super rude. If something is going to hurt, warn me! I have never known for dental x-ray bite plate to hurt anywhere but here. Dr. Green did my cleaning and then another tech came in to polish my teeth. Didn't even introduce herself. Didn't say one word or explain what she was doing. Whatever, I probably still would have come back to get my crown fixed. Then I went home that night to more closey research the doctor that would be doing my crown procedure (front tooth so I am super nervous). I logged onto Yelp and there were so many negative reviews about how he has really messed up patients' dental work. Today, these reviews are no where to be found. Very suspicious. I decided against Dr. Green and called another practice. This practice called Dr. Green's office to have my chart transferred. Office staff gave my new dentist a hard time and they will not be sending my records over. No surprise to me because a previous review stated this. Rudeness will lose you a lot of business... Only positive... Dr. Green's cash paying prices can't be beat. However, you usually get what you pay for. read more

For a place that can potentially be sticking needles into your mouth, and you would like to be comfortable during the process, than this is NOT THE PLACE TO GO. Dr.greene doesn't talk you through it and if you're anything like me and you like to know exactly what's going on then again this isn't for you. However, if you are someone who wants/needs a procedure done quickly and you don't exactly care about the quality of the staff or how comfortable they make you fee than maybe the experience would be a good fit. Dr Green's services have declined over time. On the last preventive exam, he did a rudimentary tooth cleaning without checking the pockets. He does not explain any procedures but lets his office staff do that instead. He wanted to crown a healthy tooth to correct a gap that started 7 yrs. ago when he did not close the gap with a previous crown. He blamed the problem totally on lack of flossing. When I told him I floss at least 1X per day, he vehemently insisted that I do not floss. His 'proof' was that I had food between my teeth when I visited him, despite coming directly from work. After 11 yrs. of visits, he 'fired' me AND my family (guilty by association?). My husband and I were concerned about his decline in services. I guess I should thank Dr. Green for forcing us to find another dentist!!!!! read more

Excellent dental experience! Dr. Green does most of the cleaning himself & he is very gentle... no pain! After the exam, his wife went over my treatment options & spent a good amount of time educating me and giving the most competitive prices I've seen. I will never go back to my HMO dentists again! Dr. Green is AWESOME!! I miss him so much his gentle cleanings his calm manner & politeness as he goes through the procedure with you plus the needle part was excellent! I don't like needles the numbing process but it was a piece of cake. Dr. Green is the BEST dentist I have ever met in my entire lifetime! Every time I went to him his professionalism, his expertise his dentistry is #1. I actually dread going to dentists but going to Dr. Green it was like a spa experience nothing at all like I've ever experienced. At another cheap dental office not Coast (coast out of there see my review for that business) the dental hygienist was so ROUGH she caused a TMJ so Dr. Green told me to go to a ETN specialist to treat it which I did. Three weeks on pain meds. in bed I couldn't barely move from the TMJ it was that painful & unbearable but then I resumed back with Dr. Green who finished the dental work I needed with such a gentle touch a kind word he put my worries behind me as I look forward to seeing him again! Dr. Green rocks! I highly recommend Dr. Green he's the very best you could ever dream of in a dentist plus he's honest and will work out a payment plan if needed as my dental ins. wasn't paying for most of the dental work. I miss Dr. Green. Most places that employ multiple doctors at those "dental factories" have such lousy dentists so I thank Dr. Green for all the work he gave me as I smile thinking back to the days I had the good fortune of meeting Dr. Green.
