We were very impressed with the cleanliness and calming atmosphere.The appointment was next day.Dr.Bhole was clear and professional. We were referred to Dr. Rasmussen for extraction the following morning. Pasco Dental has nice facilty with good scheduler Trisha and three family doctors. This office have good technology equipment. Dr Thomas Hwang specializes in teeth crowning, great on teeth implants, invisalign, root canals etc. He is efficient and good in his job. Place is cleaned. Just moved to the Wesley Chapel area and needed to find a new dentist, and honestly very pleased with Pasco Dental. Making the appointment was super easy (didn't need to go through hundreds of recorded voices to get to an actual person). The place is very clean and well kept, and the staff was super friendly and very welcoming. It was a very quick process and the wait time is little to none. I was seen very quickly which is always a plus when you don't want to wait an hour after your appointment just to see the dentist. Dr. Thomas Hwang was amazing, he was very nice and was so cool to actually bring in a model and walk you through the entire process of what needed to be done. While this flexibility may not be possible every time, it showed me Pasco Dental has the right level of flexibility to make the patient experience fantastic. Let me tell you how amazing this place is for your dental needs. Trish is the office manager and she is wonderful at making the entire operational experience run efficently. She does it all phones, appointments, payments, answers questions, greets the customers, informs the the doctors on patient status ect. She does it all with a smile and plesant deameanor. Dr. Ben is sharp, quick with his hands, funny, precise, gentle, polite and professional. He is straight up and I appreciate that he will give you options. I needed two crowns in the back replaced and mentioned the possibility of just having the back tooth pulled and he said yeah that would be an option instead of pressuring me to chose an option i cant afford. The office is clean, they have elephants with the trunks up all over its so cute. Anyways you cant go wrong with Dr. Ben your in good hands under his care. I am so glad i found him! Dr. Hwang is a highly regarded and very qualified dentist who graduated from Columbia Dental School. After my initial visit, I learned from another previous client that he was recipient of the Best Dentist in NY award several times !! Dr Hwang helped me by consolidating the extensive work that I needed into a few visits that were pain free, affordable, and did not impact my daily routine. I had several leaking silver filings removed and replaced withnew white fillings, a crown re-made, and teeth cleanings. I received excellent care from Dr. Hwang. His dental office is state-of-the-art. I have a beautiful white smile now. I would like to thank Dr. Hwang and give him my highest recommendation. Have been visiting this dental office for over a year with my family and the experience is Always Amazing, from the moment you open the door. The staff is Wonderful and a pleasure to speak to. Always On time, so you can plan your day ahead of time. After multiple "not so good experience" with commercial brand offices in the area where you feel you were purchasing a car every time you visit them, it is Great to know that there are still good businesses around. I'll start with the bad. Although it's not really bad per se, just probably my own issue. But someone else may find this helpful. So I'll give it my honest perception. I've never had issues with my teeth until now (43 years old and no dental work). I had no idea what to expect whatsoever. I think the good doctors could have done a much better job explaining play by play what to expect and what a crown would entail. An explanation was provided, but a very basic one. And being in pain at the time I didn't think to ask for clarification. So I had to do my own research. I'm guessing this is because these procedures are done so often, and maybe most people don't require a play by play. But if you do (like me) be sure to ask questions! The good far outweighs the bad. Dr. Hwang is very knowledgeable. I had a small cavity and cracked tooth. He worked to save my tooth and was able to with a crown and no root canal (thank you). Dr. Ben, who did the procedure has the best bedside manner. Very thorough and helped to ease my anxieties. I was provided valium for the anxiety before the procedure if I wanted, but elected not to and was just fine! I went back 2 weeks later for my permanent crown and it was a quick and easy appointment. I also want to add my other frustration. I am currently without dental insurance and was frustrated that the best they could do was split the large cost into 2 payments. Normally it wouldn't be as much of an issue, but in the middle of a pandemic it is! That may also be an issue for some. Trish, the receptionist, is amazing!!! She's actually one of the main reasons I went with Pasco dental. After my phone call to inquire, she was the voice I was met with, and she was so friendly and helpful. Overall great experience. My permanent crown feels as good as a fake tooth can! read more

A few weeks ago I had chipped my tooth and was in need of repair asap. They were able to see me and fix me up with a temporary crown. If your searching for a dentist, this is the place. I never write reviews but I needed to share my experience. I am the biggest baby when it comes to going to the dentist. I get so anxious but I had the biggest pain in my tooth. I had a cavity which required a root canal and crown. Dr. Hwang was so kind and gentle and explained everything as he went along. He took pauses and keep asking how I was doing. He explained my costs prior to getting started so there wouldn't be any surprises. Oh, o can't forget The receptionist...she is an Angel. I had to give this review today September 18, 2020. Choosing the right dentist is an important choice.One of the best dental office I have ever had the pleasure of going into. Very nice and clean, an inviting atmosphere. A special mention to Trisha in the front office who is very nice and attentive to me. The staff and Dr. Benjamin Hwang were very welcoming. They truly care about the well being of their patients. I am usually very nervous when going for a dental appointment, however, I was very relaxed. I had the least amount of wait time. Dr. Benjamin is awesome, nice and comfortable to be around. He knows his profession very well, no unnecessary work or expense was put on me. Honest and caring. Visit overall exceeded my expectation. When I visited Dr.Hwang's office I was greeted by courteous office staff and felt comfortable all throughout the treatment. I came in for a root canal and did not feel a thing! Dr. Hwang uses the latest technology, is efficient in his procedure and professional in his manner. I was even more blown away with his pricing. I went to other dentist in the area and the prices they were charging were ridiculous! Dr.Hwang is a Columbia University grad who is highly skilled and knows what he is doing. I just wanted to say that I personally went to Pasco Dental and felt that it was a very fine establishment with a very kind dentist and I had a very good experience. I was shocked to see that it only had 1 star on Yelp, and realized it was because there was only one review. I then proceeded to notice that there were 14 not recommended reviews - some are from people I have personally met since moving to Tampa. I was very curious as to why these never showed and from yelp it says they have a system that "uses automated software to recommend the ones that are most helpful for the Yelp community". So I found it funny that they would hide 14 great reviews from real patients and leave one bad review from a patient. I really just thought that wasn't fair and wanted to write this review to say that my experience was excellent. Also, not to disclaim the other comment, but as a registered nurse, you cannot suddenly get TMJ from a procedure- it is a condition that develops over time. Hopefully this review does not get sorted into the not recommeded reviews. read more

I don't understand this negative review by Ahmed, because this certainly doesn't apply to Dr. Hwang's reputation or expertise performance . Dr. Hwang is AWESOME!!!! He can take care of all your dental needs in one office... he can do it all right there in his office- no specialist visit needed. He is very reasonable when it comes to cost - others around the area are expensive and have to send you to a specialist for most of the work- Dr. Hwang does NOT!!! He is specialized in everything!
