After suffering through Sage Dental, I found a wonderful Dentist and hygienist that are Godsend!…read moreThe hygienist did a wonderful job and Dr. Bryington was very professional, personable and honest. They charged accordingly and didn't gouge me. I cannot give enough praises for this deal practice!

Dr. Bryington is not only a 5-star Dentist, he's also a wonderful human being. The lengths he went…read moreto help me were above and beyond what any other medical or dental practitioner had ever done. He took a great deal of time to gently and patiently explain exactly what my issues were and offered me valuable advice on how best to remedy the situation. I had been struggling for over a year with implant supported dentures that kept breaking and were painful to even wear. I could barely even chew with them and they had cost me over $11,000. The work had been performed in Maine and I just didn't know where to turn now that I was living in Zephyrhills full time. I'd had a horrifying experience with a different dental practice in town that necessitated my need for dentures in the first place so to say I was a bit "gun shy" is putting it mildly. He knew I was traumatized by the entirety of the situation at hand and that he was quite literally my only hope. He also knew that finances were a big issue for me but he never made me feel inferior because of it. Because of his 34 years of expertise and his kindness, I left his office with a solid game plan on how best to resolve my problems. I no longer felt uninformed about what my issues were and for the first time in a long time, I had hope that my nightmare would soon be over. I followed his advice to the T and what great advice it was! If all of that wasn't enough, as a final gesture of his generosity, honor and decency, he told me there would be no charge for my visit! People like Dr. Bryington are few and far between in today's day and age. He not only restored my faith in Dentistry, he restored my faith in humanity as well. Thank you Dr. Bryington. You're one in a million!

I've had so much dentist trauma and I am always nervous about going to a new place…read more They were so kind, explained everything and their process is so easy. They cared what my opinions were and didn't try to talk me into treatments I don't need. I'm so happy with the service here!

I hope my experience is not the norm, I had an awful experience at New Tampa family dental…read more The experience started with me scheduling a routine cleaning over the phone and the receptionist taking down my insurance information. Over the next week I received two additional calls from New Tampa family dental asking for my insurance information because they kept failing to enter it into the computer correctly. Then a few days before my appointment I received a health questionnaire that I had to complete through my cell phone. At first this seemed like a typical dental questionnaire about allergies and previous surgeries. However, I was required to enter my insurance information a fourth time, upload pictures of my driver's license, and answer roughly 50 to 100 questions about my health history. On the day of the appointment I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early since I was a new patient. I was informed after arriving that showing up 15 minutes early was not necessary since I had already completed the excessively long health questionnaire. I then proceeded to wait in the waiting room for 20 minutes before being called back. Once the cleaning began I was informed that I would need to complete mandatory extra services that were not covered by insurance. When I questioned why these extra services were mandatory I was never provided with an adequate explanation. I have never had a cavity and dental cleanings have always been run-of-the-mill for me. When I refused to accept the extra services New Tampa family dental refused to treat me. I ended up walking out of my appointment without completing my routine cleaning. A few weeks later I went to a different dentist in Wesley Chapel and was faced with none of these mandatory extra services and received compliments on my oral hygiene. New Tampa family dental was an outlier in every interaction I had with them, and they were not an outlier in a positive direction.

Great experience at Dental Care at Quail Hollow ("DCQH") in June 2026…read more Patient care: Dr. Patel, the dental hygienists, and the dental assistant, were attentive, patient, thorough, and gentle with their tools and equipment. Additionally, they explained things in terms that made sense for treatment moving forward, leaving plenty of opportunity to share dental history and ask questions. Staff approach to administrative details: Scheduling was easy and fast online through their chat, and filling out all necessary forms was equally as efficient. On top of this, staff attention to compliance of patient privacy at workstations (computer) and in reference to patient names was the best I have seen in a long time of any medical office that handles private patient health information; This was demonstrated when the dental assistant asked me to hang tight for a moment prior to transitioning from the x-ray bay to the patient room, and again when moving between my room and my family member's treatment room, where I saw other staff closing out of programs prior to bringing patients in or out of other rooms... also when discussing information at the reception desks, and in calling family members back into the treatment areas (which other medical offices should take note of!). Patient comfort: The atmosphere of the office is clean and well maintained. Lights are low (where possible), and music was generally calm. There are small bottles of water offered throughout, and they also provide blankets, lip balm, sunglasses, and other small items to ensure comfort and completion of appointment goals. In addition, TV's are provided in treatment rooms with a plethora of options for patients that need extra distraction. We could tell that staff paid attention to certain details on the intake paperwork as they were very deliberate in assuring comfort for a family member during treatment. Last, an overall comparison of DCQH to other area offices: Finding a new dental practice was, at times, discouraging; When calling around, it was evident that many have lost sight of the patient, requiring separate appointments for each of: x-rays, exam, cleaning (I am not sure who has that much time to devote to going back and forth to the dentist, but we don't). But DCQH did all of this and more: exams, x-rays, cleanings... plus treatments, a generous amount of time with Dr. Patel and staff discussing details, and the staff collaborated to provide multiple printed work-ups for possible future treatment or procedures to take home for consideration. For all of the wonderful qualities that DCQH exhibited, we hope not to need to find another dental practice any time soon. Thank you, Dr. Patel and staff, for making what is usually a 'chore appointment' a comfortable and convenient experience from start to finish.
