With new insurance, I made cleaning appts for my husband, 18 year old & myself. The person on the phone never stated that the appts would each be a "consultation" with xrays and then you had to come back in for the cleaning. Ridiculous. Since when does a dental clinic need to do consultations? My husband caused a scene, they cleaned his teeth. My son went to his appt and they cleaned his without question. BUT then they sold him a $100 electric toothbrush, telling him it was "part of the cleaning" and he owed the balance, and he paid. Aspen would NOT take it back even 30 min after my son's appt once he got home. Said I had to return it to Braun! It took me about 6 months to send it back to Braun and finally get reimbursed...with a Visa gift card! For me I went in and I had to insist they clean my teeth that day, they did, no issues, they were fine. I went ahead & did the fluoride treatment, and so did my son at his appt. This was an additional $46 EACH. They did not tell me that there, they did not charge either of us at the appointment, and I ended up getting an invoice in the mail about 3 months later, one for each of us. I paid both. Since then I get another invoice for the fluoride every single month for each of us. I called, they told me to disregard. But here I am 11 months later with yet another invoice for my son! I've been a patient at this Aspen for a few years now, and they are always friendly and professional! They've done my crowns, fillings, and whitening treatments so far. I went in today for a cleaning. It was a fast visit 40 minutes instead of the usual 60. After cleaning teeth first, she poked into my gums which hurt a lot. My mouth was filling with saliva the whole time which I was swallowing! She kept on saying " open your mouth wider" with an attitude even though she said please a few times. She mainly polished the upper teeth and slightly on the lower. So I won't go back an would not recommend this location to anyone. read more

I went there on a Saturday as I had a gum infection. They did almost nothing to treat the gum infection but insisted on full X-rays. The next week I get an estimate for the additional work Dr Le recommended that I do. (Over $4,000). I went to my usual dentist a few weeks later. I did not need additional work. this place SUCKS. First of all my first visit I didn't even get a cleaning. I had to go back later that same day. which honestly wasn't a big deal. but they make you pay IN ADVANCE. They wanted me yo pay almost $1000 before we even talked about scheduling. They also are very aggressive about the financing options. I said no at least 4 times before they finally stopped asking. I went for another appointment today my 3rd now for fillings. I waited an hour, after being told the dentist was behind. first of all they only have 1 dentist that does fillings. So no one else can help if they get behind. They knew he was behind too they could have easily called me and told me to come in later but they they made me wait and guess what? no appointments after today for like the next week. I had scheduled an appointment 2 months in advance for May, 8th 2024 for 3pm and it was canceled same day without notice. I call the day prior and same day to confirm and straight to voicemail, no call back from the dental office. The team members have no sense of compassion nor empathy for customers. I called today to set up an appointment for two extractions. I'll be honest the lady that helped me was absolutely nice, but she was not of her information. She told me for extractions. It would be $210 for each tooth. And then she told me my appointment is at 7:30 which seemed fine when I got a call from the office saying that my appointment was at 7:30 but there's no guarantees I'll be getting in at 7:30 could be up to about two hours after. . I then told the lady my appointments at 7:30. I have other appointments I have work. I need to make sure this is done. She goes well that just depends on who else walks in the door. That didn't make sense. she also tried to get me to finance so that I can get my extra extractions. I told her I'll be paying cash. she then proceeded to tell me the average price for an extraction is $435 per tooth. her that that's not what the up the appointment said and she said well she was wrong.. I then told her that both these teeth are bothering me very much and she said well. Tomorrow is just the appointment and x-rays and we won't be extracting anything. That's completely different than what the lady said. When she set up the appointment, she said they would be doing the appointment x-rays and the extra extractions. Honestly, I would not recommend this company to anybody. I got off work today at 3:30 PM and today is April 22, 2025, I ended up finding a place by the name of North Valley dental on seventh Street Bell Road and what's amazing about them is they got me the appointment did the x-rays and pulled both the teeth right now I'm sitting at home. It's 5:08 PM same day and I feel absolutely amazing shout out to North Valley dental for doing their job correctly and I thank them for their help. read more

I have no clue why low reviews! Aspen dental at this location has been nothing but excellent in the service they provide. I'll admit I have extra Tar on my teeth that I was ashamed about.. the hygienist here make you feel so comfortable and are even eager to clean your teeth for you.. you really can tell they love what they do! I'm getting the zoom whitening done and the office even had a discount applied that saved me over $280 .. STAY AWAY!! It's common sense you want to use your insurance in an adequate place where they take care of you. This is not the place. They will see you till your bank is empty. They will charge your insurance for X-rays and oral inspection then scare you about your condition to later hit you with expensive treatment that is not needed( upscale). If you reject the services they will deny to even clean or deep clean your teeth. They will recommend multiple visits that are not needed. Save your hard earned money and insurance. Go to a non chain Scam free place and take care of your teeth. Aspen detail is fairyland with make up things that you do not need. When I visited Aspen dental about a year ago for an emergency extraction, I had a reasonably good experience. The one question that I had was that I was told when I went for my noon appointment that I had to come back for the extraction at 6:00 p.m. . That seemed really unusual to me, but because I was in pain, I came back for the appointment and I got the extraction successfully. I discovered today that if I try to schedule an appointment online it schedules me as a new patient instead of an existing patient, and when I asked why the existing patients have to call an office, the person I spoke with didn't really have a good reason. Their response was that I couldn't see what they were doing on their side and that their schedule was complicated, but that doesn't make a difference. I don't like the fact that they make it easier for new patients to schedule online but force their existing patients to call an office. It should be as convenient for everyone to schedule an appointment online. Most other offices do this. So I'm leaving this review in the hopes that Aspen reads it and maybe make some changes in their policy. If they do not, and they don't up their customer service, I may go elsewhere. If you're looking for a new dentist, GO TO ASPEN DENTAL! Especially this location and request Sandy as your hygienist, she's amazing! I'm terrified of the dentist, almost cancelled my appointment out of fear but man, I'm so glad I went. Sandy made me feel comfortable and walked me through every step, she even took the time to educate me on the correct way to brush and floss. We need more hygienist that take the time to explain those things, you'd be surprised to find out we've been doing it wrong this whole time! She's very thorough, my teeth have never felt so clean! Had a poor dental filling done by dr. Zeng to fix my chipped tooth that had an old filling break off.. I can feel a crack between my real tooth and filling also very poorly shaped I expressed to him I don't like the way he shaped it and he got annoyed saying my tooth was crooked to consider Invisalign.. I have old photos showing what s wonderful shaped filling I had done when I was 10 that broke off at 23!!! will not be returning... I literally left in tears on how hideous this tooth looks I would of rather left it chipped ... will be finding a new office... The corner of my tooth was chipped and I went to Aspen to fix it. Going into my appointment, of course it was known that I'm pregnant but they decided to do a fill. The tooth chipped a month and one week after getting it fixed, however instead of it just being the corner it was the bottom half of my tooth. About two weeks later the same tooth chipped. It seems like I am not having to eat soft foods because my tooth was not fixed correctly. I was advised by two other dentist that because it was my front tooth that has been chipped that I should've been suggested to get a crown rather than a fill. I am now having to come out of pocket more to have something fixed that should've been done correctly the first time. I would not suggest/recommend anyone to use Aspen dental due to this particular experience. read more

Horrible Aspen dental arcadia location do not go there- choose another dentist - the office staff manager Valerie and her 2 assistants Zoey and Jasmine are rude, want to argue, unprofessional could care less about customer service and what the patient has to say. There used to b a different office manager there when I first started as a patient, he was great- but these 3 managers are like dealing with clowns at a circus...passing the phone back and forth and then listening to each other conversations I was having with each manger, and my issue was over a cleaning that I told these 3 managers was not a perio-maintenance the hygienist performed a regular cleaning on my teeth and I was charged andy insurance was charged for a perio-maintenance cleaning. I wanted a credit on my account if 42 and was told absolutely not I could come in for a touch up- now what on earth is a touch up ? Like a chipped a nail and going back for a touch up...I told Valerie a business can not bill for services not rendered and it is fraud, I asked to speak to the regional manager and was told no not going there whatever that meant. So 3 managers and not one could solve this complaint other than telling me we r discharging u from Aspen dental...well my whole family that goes there will b discharged as well, patients should not have to deal with such shady business practices. After going there for about a year was just going for a simple cleaning and they tell me I have to update my medical history, ok just click ok to all the stuff I had already gave them...NO have to redo a mountain of questions, which I have a bunch and PTSD in regards to all of this. After telling them I can't complete any more I was shaking and sweating they told me the computer ate all my medical history and before I have my teeth cleaned I need to complete the form. Avoid this location at all costs. I went here for an initial appointment, which was a nightmare to schedule because they have a call center that apparently doesn't make actual appointments, but will tell you you're scheduled. Once I finally had an appointment, the front desk lady went over the costs and tried to sell multiple items to me (electric toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, etc). I said I did not want the toothbrush, yet they kept it on my invoice. Once the hygenist began cleaning, she used a laser device and did not mention at any point that it was an extra $180. When I returned for my next visit for fillings, they tried to charge this amount, then after I said I was never told of this charge nor did I consent, they said they would instead switch the charge to the toothbrush amount (that I never got/wanted because I already have one at home). I called the customer service aspen dental and was able to finally get a refund, however the office manager was extremely unprofessional in this discussion and had a bad attitude. It took 2 months to get this refund, during which I received additional bills from Aspen about care I never received nor consented to. I would not recommend this location because the staff is unprofessional and does not have your best interest at heart. This is truly a business where they want to sell you items and earn as much money from you as possible. I would like to warn any military veteran to please find another dental clinic to go to because this is not a good place for veterans that serve their country. When Aspen Dental was treating me, I was what you would call a functional alcoholic. I went to them to have them pull one tooth that was bothering me. Knowing that I was intoxicated, they told me that the affected tooth had affected other areas of my mouth and they needed to pull all my teeth. I was not in a sober state of mind, but I need the tooth pain to go away. Through my research into my dental insurance, I discovered that instead of pulling the one bad tooth and getting paid for that service, they pulled all of them and billed my insurance so they could get paid more. The extraction of my teeth was done so badly that today I am struggling to get implants due to poor bone structure. I am seeking legal advice to get this matter looked into further. The only reason I am giving this office two stars is because the actual dentist are great. However, the rest of the office staff I can't say the same. They will cancel your appointment and say they will call to reschedule, they never do. Do not get Care Credit, because you can only use it for future appointments or the day of. Not only did they try to balance bill me (charge me more than what the claim processed for) but I had to explain the claims to them. Took a couple months before they had the accurate total due. Then I'm trying to pay, after calling and being told I was approved to use the care credit by the finance team. Then the front office told me I can't and nothing stating that I could. On 1/4/2021, i went into Aspen Dental to have 2 teeth pulled. All in all the service was good, however after getting my teeth extracted, one of which was broken, i was told that my medications would be sent to my local pharmacy of choice. Well after waiting 10 hours the day of my surgery, I was told that the prescription was never sent! Then, my wife called for me being as I was and still am in the excruciating pain, and they again told her that my prescription was sent to my Walgreens pharmacy. So after waiting another 4 hours, I still have not received my meds. I again called this morning, 1/5/2021, and spoke with the receptionist who stated that there was nothing anybody could do about it because the surgeon who extracted my teeth was unavailable. I am scheduled to go back in February and with this experience, I am seriously starting to second guess it. The amount of pain I am in right now makes bo sense and shouldve been fixed by now. I waited 2 hours before I was seen not to mention they called me that same day to see if I could come in earlier. And to top it off they quoted me 3K for 3 wisdom teeth with insurance. Oh and I got a bill sent to me and I called asked to speak to the manager and the girl never sent me to her and just said ok she is busy but she said we will write that off and then 2 months later I get another bill. I saw so many terrible reviews before going to my first appointment so I was pretty worried I'd have issues but I didn't. The front desk was super helpful and the doctor was very helpful as well. I'm 27 weeks pregnant and went in because my wisdom tooth decided to pop up and cause me so much pain. 1st experience: I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning, and it took well over an hour for the dental hygienist to get me. When questioning the receptionist if I should just reschedule, she said, "no, just wait a couple more minutes." They could've easily informed me on the situation. What's the point of pre-scheduling an appointment then? Was offered no apology for the delay either. 2nd experience: I went in to get a couple of fillings done. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I was taken back to have the procedure. I was given Novocaine shots and the drilling began. Half-way through, the dentist left suddenly, explaining nothing, and leaving me with blood, saliva, and tooth shavings filling my mouth FOR 45 MINUTES. He comes back and has to numb me again at this point, almost finishes the filing, and yet again, leaves me for another 30 MINUTES with a mouthful of blood, saliva, and tooth shavings (I WISH I could make this experience up). I asked him why it takes over an hour to complete just a couple of fillings...his response is, "It is what it is. Sometimes you just have to wait." No accountability, no explanation, no apology. 3rd (and hopefully final) experience: No one had asked for my updated insurance after the office had been closed for about 6 months due to COVID, so when I came in to get my 2nd cleaning completed (which had been scheduled back in March and out-of-pocket expense already paid for), they didn't bill my insurance for the cleaning or fillings until the office opened back up, at which point my insurance had changed, so now they're expecting me to pay for the entirety of service out-of-pocket without any insurance covering it. read more

Classic "bait and switch" operations. Both offices I have been to are owned by one dentist-but you have to see other dentists. At first, I went in to see about new dentures as my older ones had broken. Went through all of the usual sales pitches as originally the new dentures would only be $399.00* each-as they so proudly advertise. Of course the bottom tier dentures are just about worthless in function and cosmetic. Ugly and absolutely no warranty. Do yourself a favor and save your hard earned money. I am a Disabled American Veteran and can hardly afford $2,800.00 for new dentures-mind you my old ones still work very well. Pressured into the deluxe, top of the line, 7 years worth of warranty, etc. etc. $2,800.00 later and waiting for an hour or so the process begun. While waiting, the tech took my old dentures and returned the broken one repaired and seemed good as new. If I had known up front that they could be repaired, I would have never allowed myself to be pressured into new fancy dentures. Should have walked out at that point, but had already signed the agreement. Thus begun the nightmare.... After several appointments to try this and try that and adjust this and adjust that-not to mention about 3 weeks of extreme pain from the new glorious dentures, they were finally adjusted to where at least I could eat. 2 days ago, a tooth broke from the upper denture. Unreal. I called the office near me-owned by the same dentist that sold me the glorious new dentures-as they are so happy to have to come in-and was given the run around that I would have to pay $55.00 to have the denture fixed. Now, mind you I bought and paid for the most expensive dentures they have with the 7 year warranty, blah,blah, blah. When it comes time to honor the warranty you will get the run around about having to pay for a visit. Unreal. They also claim a "money back guarantee"..... Good luck with that. Although I have never been here I guess Im responding to the reviews where people are complaining they advertise 399.00 for dentures. If you check closely to the ad it will say "per arch" probably in small print. An arch is one side of the denture. so if you are getting a full set top and bottom it is 4 arch's x $399.00. just tops then it's 2 arch's. All this being said I have not been to aspen dental. checking reviews for my husband who needs a dentist. Still checking reviews for other dentists. read more
