Staff is all rude like you are a problem being there because you are making them do their job. Not to mention if you might no be able to pay for an expensive procedure the dentist also will get rude about and try to pressure you into it. The only thing the staff cares about is money. Stay away from Aspen dental. I went to the Merritt Island location and they did an unnecessary procedure on me. When I went back complaining about how that didn't fix the pain I was having, they got mad and gave me an attitude. They redid a filling for a perfectly good molar. (I found out later I needed a root canal on a different molar.) So I went to the Viera location instead hoping they would do a better job. Nope. Same crap. They again redid a perfectly good filling on another molar with no issues. Of course that didn't cure my problem. Beware! They will do needless procedures on you to take your money. read more

Aspen Dental corporate lures you in saying they have Saturday appointments then get you to spend money on X-rays, mouth guards, etc., then set up a Saturday appointment months in advance, only to tell you they need to reschedule for a weekday because they have no Saturday appointments. I would not send my enemy to this Dentist. They had to reschedule my appointment multiple times and when I was finally able to secure an appointment, I waited roughly 1 hour to see the Doctor/start my procedure. I had a follow-up appointment from this procedure that again, started roughly 30 minutes late, and they were UNABLE to finish. What should have been an hour appointment turned into 2:45 (including the :30 late start) and when the young lady could not finish, they asked me to come back in 2 hours when the Dentist returned from Lunch. YES, the Dentist left for lunch while I was still in the chair praying they could finish my appointment. I stated, "I'll see what I can do" as I had ZERO intention of ever returning and they said the Manager wanted to speak with me. The "Manager" stopped me to collect my 60% fee of the procedure that they could not finish and the Dentist left me in my chair while she went to lunch (I wanted to eat lunch too, must be nice). I walked out and WILLLLL never return to this absolute debaucle of a "dentist". My wife, because I never want to speak to these people, did call them and make the final payment of "what they were able to accomplish" and I will never have to step foot inside this pathetic business! Please DO NOT let anyone you know, care about or even strongly dislike, put their dental care in the hands of this facility. They should be shut down! read more

The entire staff was extremely professional and very helpful. I chose to purchase the $49 membership which meant that my xrays and initial were at no charge. The membership also saved me over $1,000 toward my ultimate treatment goals. I was able to make an appointment less than 24 hours in advance. I would never go to this dental office again. I went for an exam and they told me I needed my cavity filled. They gave me 11 or 12 shots of Novacaine. I could barely swallow. I felt like I was gonna choke on my own saliva. The dentist redid the same cavity for five times in a row, trying to get the fit right. After that, I could not floss between my two teeth and when I asked her about it when I came back from my cleaning the following week she told me I was just flossing too hard and tearing the floss and that it fits fine. Here it's been six months later and a piece of the inside of the tooth or whatever she filled it with has broken off and now I have a gap between the two teeth, I'd love to go there and say something but at this point I would not want them to fix it. In all of my 56 years I have never encountered a dentist practice this bad. My viewpoint of Aspen Dental is very low and it should not be operating at all. They purposely jacked up the estimate, claiming I was non-preventative. I went to a different dentist a year ago. I was dealing with blindness during 2022 not allowing me to go for my six month check up. I couldn't believe the lady she hand me the piece of paper and says you can pay 580 a month for like five years or $1000+a month. I am disabled, and on a fixed income. I went to a family owned business that had five star ratings and rave reviews, their estimate was $14000 LESS. Aspen wanted $21000. I'm going to report them for ripping off old people. I have had two instances where my appointment time was changed without informing me. This last time, it came as an email with a new time. I was going to call when I received a text message asking me to contact them. I decided it wasn't worth arguing about the time, and confirmed the time they had. I had to ask for time off work to accommodate this appointment, then two days later, they leave a voicemail saying they can't keep my appointment. I left them a voicemail back expressing my frustration, and asked them to call me back. Surprise, no response. My husband was going there also, and said he never had the same dentist twice, and they kept trying to sell him a full set of implants. When he asked if he could just do a couple, they said no. if I could do a zero that would be better, I had Invasaligns and they could never get them scanned correctly, they left my teeth not much better than when I went in. First Dentist I had was great, but he left and started his own business, the next 4 were useless. The one in Merritt Island actually LIED to me and told me that the root on my front tooth was crooked and that's why, showed me an XRay, wasn't even mine, and refused to do anymore, so I went to Vierra after I was called by the regional manager, started out good but ended up the same, I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt and had 2 implants STARTED there, needless to say, going to a real dentist to get them finished. I had a scan done, waited 3 weeks because they were supposed to be n in 2 weeks, the day of the appt. I'm driving down (forgot my phone) and get there and they called the phone 15 minutes before I got there to tell me they weren't in, they would call me when the crowns came in. 2 weeks later, they call and tell me that there was something wrong with the scans and they have to rescan. I feel very traumatized and disregarded after getting my wisdom teeth removed at aspen dental. I was told to no let the numbing wear off before taking my prescription pain medication... well the numbing wore off and aspen never sent in the script. I then waited for 3 plus hours for them to send it over while in excruciating pain. The office team said they were going to have the doc send it and call me back in ten minutes.... After an hour with no call back i called and they hung up on me. I called again and they refused to answer i had to call the 1800 to put me through to the office team. Ive never felt so disregarded my medical professionals.... Listen to the reviews and go elsewhere. Like other reviewers here, I'd give a zero star rating if it was possible. My wife had a front tooth implant and crown done late 2022, though they were so screwed up it didn't get finished till April 2023. We paid it in full when the job was done. Then in April 2024 I got a bill saying I still owe them $30. My wife was so fed up with them that she just paid it because she never wanted to hear anything about them again. Then a couple months later--well over two years since the job had been done and the bill paid in full--they send me a bill for over $500! They'd originally said the job would cost about $3000, but I'd ended up paying them almost $4,000. Now here's this new bill! I went in to their local office with the bill and asked them what the hell was going on. They said that their billing department was so behind because of their hack in early 2023 and that they're sending out bills for procedures done as long as two years ago. When I asked exasperatedly whether I could expect to just keep getting new bills for a botched job for which I'd already paid in full at the time of service, I was told that maybe I would get more bills. Incredible! Do not touch Aspen Dental with a ten-foot pole. If you look online you'll find numerous similar stories. I spent $4000 for a new set of dentures. I went to get an adjustment and was told I needed an appointment for that. The doc did see me and did an adjustment. I called on April 14 to get an appointment for another adjustment and had to leave a message. I am still waiting 2 weeks later for a call back. Wish I could give zero stars! Biggest mistake ever going to Aspen Dental. I had a tooth that needed a root canal because it was cracked in half. I was no sooner sat in the chair when the high pressure tactics began. I had a so an from up front in my face with papers, wanting me to sign all kinds of things, pressuring me to use their financing. Then they suggested Invisalign! I ended up getting a dental implant put in that was an all day ordeal and it was a complete failure. I had to have oral surgery to remove it and place a new one competently. Aspen dental not only caused me great emotional distress they took my money snd refused to reimburse for the failed implant and cut off all contact with me. Absolutely horrible chain! It was a tear of hell and now I'm out thousands of dollars and their treatment of me and other patients is reprehensible. read more

Well well well if it isn't the consequences of your own actions. They are incredibly short staffed here for every single position. I had an interview that dragged on for over an HOUR. With bullshit questions such as "what would you do in a zombie apocalypse". Theyre hiring people with NO dental experience and I tried calling several times to see the status of my job and surprise surprise nobody could answer the phone because there's nobody working! If you are thinking of getting your teeth cleaned here, go somewhere else. Part of the job is telling people with rotten teeth they're too poor to fix them and having to coax them to buy more expensive plans. Oh also they don't pay their employees a livable wage. From what I could tell it's just another hell hole that's trying to rob you from every cent you own. If you ACTUALLY want decent dental care, do yourself a favor and go to an ACTUAL dentist office, not some shitty chain in Viera.
