After your $$$$!! Beware…read more I was a new patient, but filled out my paperwork before I got there. I waited over an hour past my appointment time to be seen. Other patients had come and gone well before I was taken back. The waiting room was rough. Chairs were torn up and it was generally dirty. The X-ray tech was amazing... the only reason it gets two stars. She was patient and kind. The dentist couldn't have cared less and spent less than 5 mins looking at my teeth. I don't even think he greeted himself. He kept trying to sell me on a cosmetic procedure (chipped tooth) even after I declined. He then started on the last next to me, as she's screaming during her extraction. I could see the whole thing. The dentist kept saying to her "sorry, nothing I can do". It was horrible. The hygienist checked my gums. 95% was in her "normal" range as she explained to me. Regardless of that I HAD to get a "deep clean" done. For $200!!! when I asked why it was so expensive I was told that my insurance won't cover it but they gave me discounts. When I asked to only have a regular cleaning that my insurance will cover they refused. The sales woman pressured me, telling me that i would pay triple that if I knew how bad my teeth were. After the dentist just told me I have great teeth. Scammers. Im glad I walked out of there without a cleaning and saving $200.

I woke up this morning so rested without a headache, the guard fits perfectly. I was really surprised that it took zero time to get used to. I wore it last night for the first time and fell right to sleep in it :)! It's really comfortable and sort of a minimalist design, not bulky at all compared to other guards I've tried over the years. This one is very durable and cute. It snaps in place on my upper teeth. I noticed this morning while I was waking up, I was physically unable to clench or bite down on one side like I normally do. Amazing, it works like a supportive brace. Previous night guards I gave up on because they hurt and didn't help at all, very uncomfortable and couldn't sleep at all in them. I highly recommend this particular type of night guard. Dr Chamberlain explained the importance of wearing it only for a specified number of hours at a time, as well as instructions for cleaning it/caring for it.

I had an emergency tooth pain over the wkd one time which has never happened to me before however I had a dental procedure at my usual clinic in another state recently so it might have caused me sensitivity. I was looking for the nearest dental clinic by me here. I called his clinic Monday morning when they open & he was able to see me that afternoon after I was done with work. I was given this tooth desensitizer which I told my usual dental clinic about & now I get it at every dental cleaning at my normal clinic & I haven't had tooth pain ever since! WOW!!! The best place ever for emergencies!!! Dr. Chamberlain really knows what he's doing!!!

This is about as bargain basement a dental office as I could ever expect to find. I've been using…read morethis office since first arriving to the sun-kissed shores of God's Waiting Room in 2015. The main reason I started with these people is that it was/they were right down the street from where I lived at the time. Don't get me wrong: they've taken care of all my dental needs competently. Therefore, I have no real reason to complain. I just don't have any real reason to give them hosanna and praise, either. You'll see that the first moment you walk into their sparse, threadbare office. They have five more offices scattered around the Bay Area beside this particular one. Once taken back by whichever staff member, one enters a small maze of cubicles, of which there are around a dozen or so. This pretty much indicates that this place is more of a clinic or factory than just your run of the mill dentist. If that doesn't bother you, then I imagine you're halfway home. I was accustomed to small dental offices back up yonder. There are four dentists listed in this particular office, of whom I have only dealt with two. Each of them is competent, pleasant and fairly efficient with their time albeit not quick by any means. The staff of folks in there, which also numbers around a dozen, is a United Nations of ethnicities. Being a born and bred NYC type, I find it kind of refreshing, actually. I usually try to go last thing in the afternoon or very early in the morning so I'm not in there counting the hours, so to speak. They tend to run behind schedule as do most medical and dental facilities. They take most insurances (why wouldn't they?) and offer "discounted" rates should one not have insurance. My job has fantastic insurance so I can't complain there either; I'm blest in that respect, quite honestly. The rest of the staff is fairly pleasant and friendly. Some are definitely more so than others, however. One of the ladies up front could be a little more approachable, helpful, etc. and not so gruff. As I said earlier, I'm a born and bred NYC type, so I'm used to gruff behavior and more or less filter it out. Most have been there for years with the occasional new X-ray tech or hygienist. Same group of four dentists still running the show, of whom two are specialists. They do trade personnel among the six offices, I've noticed. If you like dealing with the same person each and every visit, you're not always in luck. By and large they're OK, as I relayed at the beginning. They're competent, efficient and definitely no frills. I have no reason to bash them whatsoever. At the same time, there are those who prefer the intimacy and personal touch of a small dental office. If you or your family members happen to be such folks, then keep looking because this place, much like George Washington's false teeth, ain't a good fit.

Dr. Beata Carlson is my regular dentist and I've always felt incredibly cared for at this office, so even though this was a last-minute emergency visit and she was unavailable, I trusted I'd be in good hands. Dr. Luo saw me and found a hairline fracture, so I now have a temporary crown while my permanent one is being made. But what really stood out to me was his bedside manner. He was calm, confident, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease through the whole process. I also noticed how respectfully he interacted with the dental assistant. You could genuinely feel the teamwork and how much they both cared about me and my dental health. I actually told him afterward how much I appreciated the experience. At Natural & Cosmetic Dentistry, this level of attentiveness, professionalism, and kindness just seems to be the standard. I've consistently had beautiful experiences there, and this visit was no exception. Now I'm just looking forward to getting my permanent crown. No dread, no anxiety. Just complete trust that I'm in excellent hands.
