I gave them a shot because of the high reviews and now I am pleased to support CSD with another 5 star review. I scheduled my cleaning over the phone and the phone operator was great. They scheduled me a week out which my old dentist was months out. The parking lot is easy and the building looks nice but once you step inside it's like a sanctuary. Again, greeted by awesome people at the front desk and everyone in the office was very nice and friendly. The x rays were quick and painless (and a good price) and the hygienist that did my cleaning was gentle and not in a rush, she was accommodating and made sure I had plenty of rest to catch my breath. My dentist was excellent I believe her name is Kim. She is very informative and not pushy (to sell product or services) I am 100% satisfied with my experience and am thrilled to find my new dentist close to home. !! READ THIS !!I put my review at three stars so EVERYONE can see it. But if I could give zero I would. Check the lowest reviews before going here. I waited a year and a half to write this review. The dentist who owns this place does procedures that she should not be doing just to get money out of you and your insurance. Go get a second opinion this is not the dentist you want to go to. I had all four of my wisdom teeth removed here (and some other work) and then was sent to a different mouth surgeon to have a different tooth removed where he told me that she should've not removed my wisdom teeth by herself. The reaction I had it took over a month to heal. This woman put me through an unnecessary amount of pain because she wanted to be the one to remove the teeth herself as that was the highest priced procedure. She doesn't care for her patients. She just cares about getting paid. And to back up this review, after this experience, I worked at a dentist office that I'm not allowed to mention to protect them. And we had patients coming in because she would wreck their teeth and the dentist I was working with had to fix it but insurance doesn't cover it because she did the first procedure and messed it up. It's really sad to see her cause people pain like that's just to get the money. And that is just based off the doctor that's not saying anything about their pressuring sales technique or their unprofessional look because they wear sweatpants and sweatshirts to work. This place is extremely unprofessional. I Would not recommend to anyone! I booked an appointment for a cleaning and while I was there, they decided they only had time for the x-rays and that I would need to schedule another appointment to have the cleaning done. They care more about sales than serving their customers. So if you would prefer to not have your time wasted go anywhere else. When my husband called to talk to them about wasting my time and asked them to please get her in for a cleaning like she was originally scheduled for they told her they could not do it. Most Ruthless sales techniques I have ever witnessed. The first 2 hours are spent trying to intimidate and belittle you. The end goal is getting your name on a contract. In my case it was $19,000. My concern is that even though I'm 73, I knew that I would not sign a contract. My concern is the elderly that are easily intimidated being pressured into contracts that they can't afford. If I could give this place zero, I would. DO NOT GO HERE! I gave them a chance despite the other bad reviews. BIG MISTAKE! Dr. Chi K Nguyen and her team are EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I hate going to the dentist and getting "the lecture." I told them I knew I had fallen off my routine and just needed to get back on track--instead, Dr. Chi Nguyen wanted to treat me like a 3-year-old child. She became upset when I told her I did not want to hear the lecture. She was insensitive to my needs, abruptly sat me in my chair, and stormed out of the room. Almost all staff is Asian, as well as all patients. They do not know how to talk to people outside their cultural groups. I am a black American. They need to work on their communication skills and learn not to SHAME people who come in and whose dental health is not in the best condition. Judging patients does not work! People do not maintain dental hygiene for many reasons such as depression, mental health issues, lack of insurance due to gaps in employment, etc. When people come to the dentist, they should not be belittled and treated with the utmost respect! Dr. Nguyen is the WORST dentist experience I have ever had! I just moved from Oregon. My last two dentists were excellent, and I was with them for several years!!! Having a dentist willing to talk, not lecture or shame you, is vital to your dental health. I achieved so much with their tender patience and guidance. They had diverse staff and teams. I LOVED my last dental hygienist. Whenever I would fall off track, she helped put me back on track without attacking me or trying to make me feel guilty. Also, my primary dentist was highly communicative and CARING! We discussed my treatment plan, and he would stop in to say hi. I've never been so incredibly uncomfortable during a cleaning in my entire life. I have gotten my teeth cleaned twice a year since I've been a child and never thought too much of it but this lady treated me like a piece of meat! What was most uncomfortable though was the pushy pushy sales tactics of the team. Not only that but they told me I needed braces after I've had a perfectly straight smile since high school... not only that but as I was leaving they told me I should do teeth whitening... 1. I went to Confident Smile with a coupon offering x Ray, cleaning, and whitening for $80. The first 20 minutes was the best dental experience of my life. But then the friendliest slowly turned I to high pressure sales and a treatment plan for well over $5000. The next thing I know, I'm paying $800 for the x rays and a 30 minute cleaning!!!! I was worried about the exam I had taken and they gave me great ease on coming in and leaving today I feel confident on coming back for the rest of my appointments without worry. Only giving one star because it's impossible to give zero. I found this dentist through my insurance company and called to schedule exams and cleanings for my husband and myself. I explained over the phone I needed back-to-back appointments because we have a 6 month old and one of us needed to be with him. They assured me that was fine. The day of the appointment they get us in almost TWO HOURS after the FIRST appointment time. Take x-rays and inform us they didn't have time in their schedule to clean our teeth so we had to re-schedule. So we reschedule and my husband gets fillings and says it was the worst experience he has ever had. Not only did they get him in an hour and a half late (with an 8AM appointment, who is THAT behind first thing in the morning???), they didn't numb three of his teeth and he could feel everything.
