THEY ARE THE BEST!!!!! I hope I have the correct location. It is their "new" spot in Bristol. Guys,…read moreI can't put into words how much I appreciate them. Not only was the oral surgeon there the most genuine, nicest, most caring and seemingly educated dentist/surgeon I have ever went to..... but I also hit dead stop traffic on the way to my hour and a half drive to get there from where I live. I would have never expected them to wait, even though I was an hour out at this point, BUT THEY DID!!!! I couldn't find a spot and they showed me where to park and let me go move my car so I did not get it towed. The treatment they gave me was far beyond anything I would have ever expected considering I know doctors/dentists have to follow certain protocols. They genuinely cared. I've been there several times before, I'm sure they could see I was not late any of those times!!! Unfortunately traffic does happen, but I've had to cancel a couple appointments due to it over the years. They did an amazing job and now I am waiting for a call back to finish the rest of my root canal process. This is the ONLY Columbia dental office I will vouch for and will ever say I truly appreciate. I've never had a problem, and everyone I see there is just as kind and genuine!!! Everyone from the surgeon to the front desk office staff! I wish I had taken the surgeons name because he was THE BEST. Thank you so much, Columbia Dental of Bristol.

I came here as it's a preferred dentist of my insurance. I want to start positive , The hygienist is amazing and has great bedside manner, I have not in many years looked forward to cleanings. ( have anxiety around dentists etc, my teeth haven't been great but getting there. They also aren't jacked up. The 1 star is literally for the Dr. (won't name here) with the exact opposite of her bedside manner, he makes sarcastic comments, has been rude, has literally pretty much shamed me about my appointments. He tried to call me out for waiting 2 months in between getting work done, I finally had to say, can't afford it right now, so I'm getting it done little by little as I can. He seemed to pipe down after that and almost thought I was getting an apology but nope, he had more crap to say. Like we'll see if you show up for your next appointment. My partner also goes there and his teeth are great and still heard him grumbling. As a professional working with people that arent always comfortable with dentist to start with ,if you don't want to do it or can't be courteous then change professions The final straw for this entire thing for me is after paying cash upfront while we waited for my insurance to cover cause that's what they had me do, 1k up front. my insurance did cover and quickly I may add and then they Columbia) told me they are not releasing my credit back to me, They're going to keep it as a credit for future visits. I am no longer going there and want the monies that I paid as an overpayment sent back to my original payment method before I take legal action. DO NOT GO HERE

His staff is probably going to come on to say that it might still be covered that the insurance process is not complete but I called insurance and they simply don't cover that. I went back for a cleaning today and I expressed my discomfort at the prospect of having more than bitewing xrays ( and the American Dental Association has guidelines I was going by you can look them up your self even the ADA thinks dentists are going overboard with xrays) and he kicked me out for not doing exactly what he wants. I can only conclude he cares more about profit than respecting his patients and their bodily autonomy. Another thing that I found unprofessional were his receptionist texted me and threatened to cancel my appointment and charge me 75 dollars for a missed appointment if I didn't confirm the appointment with them. What's with that? I don't know about you, maybe you are the type that just goes along with whatever the dentist says, and if you are just interested in being told what to do and don't want any input about your oral health and are willing to just put money in the hands of someone who sees you as a profit center then you and Sherif Gabr will get along marvelously. In another review the office attempted to do damage control by claiming I was combative and rude, but that is just a blatant lie.

Modern is the key term here! When they chose the name they sure chose wisely. The images they do are so advanced I can see find cracks in my teeth. The newest machine they used on me today scanned my teeth showing where I have the most pressure on my teeth. I am a major TMJ grinder. Day and night. Not by choice. I'm glad He understands me so well. He has literally saved my teeth! No one else in my family has had their teeth half as long as me. And this is so with his work! I trust him like no other dentist I have ever had. Other dentists have done crowns and I've been with unsightly bonding. With the work Dr Gaber has done. You can't tell they're crowns or fillings. I wish I could afford to have all my teeth redone.

The office waiting area is very cozy and everything seemed meticulously clean. Poster stating no pictures or videos could be taken to protect HIPPA laws and which is understandable. My consultation was quite straightforward and Dr. Fenton and his assistant explained any complications that may arise, talked through my xrays with me and provided information on alternate pain management methods for recovering (Exparel injection & SockIt Gel) vs opioids. Before I left the office my estimated cost was explained to me (due in full same day as procedure). 3 days before the procedure I received a text with information and reminders on how to prepare for IV sedation. Dr.Fenton also sent a prescription for ibuprofen & acetaminophen to the pharmacy so I would have them ready to go. Fast forward to my procedure date, I chose IV sedation plus the optional Exparel injection. I was brought back to the extraction room and 2 of the assistants asked my choice of music for the procedure, hooked me up to monitors while making everything feel less daunting. First they started with laughing gas and then Dr. Fenton set up the IV and next thing I remember, I'm waking up from the greatest slumber. My husband had already received detailed post care instructions so as soon as I was done with observation I was walked out to our car and ready to rest. Dr. Fenton also called me later that evening to check up on me which was a nice personal touch. RECOMMEND you opt for the Exparel shot if it is within your financial means, I'm on day 2 of recovery and feel no pain. (this is my experience only and I do have a high pain tolerance... do your own research). *If you have had nausea before from any procedure you can let them know so they can give you some Zofran along with the IV. Overall great experience but glad I don't ever have to do it again lol
