I had a wonderful experience at Aspen in BH. I went in expecting to have a tooth pulled. Dr Bruce quickly determined that the tooth did not need to be pulled and I was experiencing pain because a crown was too high. He had it reshaped within a few minutes and I was in my way. Tuesday I went in as a walkin for a cracked tooth. First day they took xrays and said yep it's cracked. No antibiotics or anything just sent me home with an appt for the next day. Day two I went they did another xray, then a filling on the cracked tooth. The filling is nice, but I needed either a root canal or it pulled. I am now having dental pain on the top tooth where hit bumped it with the back of the drill. Had to go to a second dentist for an emergency visit to find out my tooth was infected. I had to call ASPEN for antibiotics. 4 days later and 3 missed shifts, still in pain and now the top hurts. Not sure if I'd recommend. Staff behind counter was nice. Staff at front desk seemed irritated to be at work. read more

I got a tooth extracted here this past week. I've never had that done before and neither had my husband. In the days that followed, I had a few questions mostly about pain, and they were very helpful. I was surprised that the pain I had wasn't really in my gums but more in my tongue. They explained the nerve they have to numb during the procedure is connected to the tongue and it can hurt for sometime. Knowing the pain was normal did help me relax a bit. They did end up prescribing a lighter pain med to help, but told me to keep doing my ibprophen. The removal of my tooth took less than an hour and my healing seems to be on schedule. The employees are all really sweet and I would recommend Aspen Dental. I usually feel stupid asking questions but I didn't feel silly when asking things here which is always a bonus when you're a naturally anxious human. read more

I have Sjögren's disease that attacked my bottom teeth. It was causing major depression and I have been afraid of the dentist because of the bad patch jobs they had done. Today I completed the last step of getting mini implants and a permanent over denture and I could not be happier. The price was reasonable, the outcome was amazing, and Dr. Micheal and his entire staff could not have been kinder or more helpful. Angel is an absolute rock star, and Kelsey and everyone else there went above and beyond to help me. I could not recommend them more highly. read more

1. The billing department could not get their coding right. So the insurance turned it down. They are now coming after me for $1600. Their mistake not mine. 2. When they made my dentures they did not compensate for my over bite or dislocated jaw, therefore when I eat or talk they flop around(no matter how much glue I use.) Thank you ASPEN!!! What a joke you pay for the best dentures and get treated like it's an inconvenience to speak to the DR. he insults my integrity by saying I said his dentures were S*&% no I said they were junk. But I could have went his direction but I'm better than this. he went as far to say my assistant could have taken care of this why do you want to get me involved! well maybe because I've had these things for 3 months and the bottoms have never fit there's a flat spot in the front and my bite is round. Then he saw it and under stood ground on them some handed them off to his assistant for the soft liner she brings them back sticks them in my mouth is that ok I say a little better but oh they will be better after you wear them I get home they are hurting me I take a look at them and there are sharpedges that have cut my mouth today is not going to be a good day in the Benton harbor store somebody better have 911 on speed dial cuz I have bail money in my pocket. read more

Read the comments on the corporate site (link above). I had the same kind of experience as these negative reviews. Dr. Yousef was very pleasant but the office was unable to do the work they advertise that they do. I could never wear the appliances they created. My friends would have been horrified to see my smile! Aspen did not seem surprised when I asked to see accounting... they must have known I would want a refund of the full amount I paid last December. It's been over a week and I'm still waiting for the refund check supposedly issued within 2-3 days and 'in the mail' since 3 days ago. read more

Gave me a quote on paper, I asked why my insurance wasn't deducted, quickly took paper and gave me a new much larger quote. When deducted my insurance my out of pocket was same? More concerned about me paying for whitening. read more
