ASP Engineering and Alex were more than helpful with the Samsung ice maker and making sure it was fixed and that I was satisfied with the fix and price. They had three attempts to fix the ice maker and on the third time they repaired it and also refunded money that was spent on the repair as it was starting to come close to the price of a new refrigerator. It was a long process but they remained professional and more than willing to work with me on this difficult repair. They always remained in contact, responded in a timely manner and were up front with the various costs. These guys came out and saved my life when quite a few other businesses would not, for a variety of odd reasons. I had gotten a great deal on a beautiful secondhand Samsung French Door Refrigerator (which incidentally is the best refrigerator I've ever owned, hands down). The only problem was that the ice maker was producing only about 6-12 ice cubes per day and here I was stuck in the middle of a Southern California summer! So after 3 other companies refused to come out, ASP sent their guy out to my home in a timely manner and after evaluating the situation, he informed me there was a good chance that ordering a replacement ice maker would fix the issue. This was great news to me since at least one of the other repair companies had told me this particular fridge had been recalled and therefore there would be no use trying to do anything for me (??). So I agreed to ordering a new one and within 3-4 days the ASP repairman returned to pop that sucker in and, VOILA, by the end of 6 hours, the bin was overflowing with ice!! Late Saturday evening, one of the gas stove switch stopped working and started to leak gas. Called ASP and they were able to get a technician in 2 hours same day. Very happy with the customer service. I provided the parts number along with the details and the person who scheduled she mentioned technician can come in and fix it same time, as I already figured the issue with the stove. Technician initially didn't seems very promising during inspection as he didn't really open up to see the issue. But it was pretty obvious that the valve was malfunctioning. Was told he will be back on Monday with the parts. After few back and forth and multiple rescheduling technical came late Wednesday with the parts and fixed it. Will definitely recommend but make sure to communicate with the scheduling team as the technician was little hard to understand due to language barrier. read more

We chose ASP because they were the first to respond to our Yelp request. Our furnace would not turn on and I requested assistance. Great company. Called them to investigate why my microwave vent was not pulling air. They charge a small fee to investigate and it's waived if you end up using them for repair. I hired ASP Engineering to install a dual zone mini split I purchased from Home Depot. Before hiring them I got a bunch of quotes and their quote was reasonable- it wasn't the cheapest but also not the most expensive. But the thing that sold me on them before I even hired them was their customer service. When I was getting quotes from other places it felt like I was chasing them for the quote, but ASP was super responsive via text and email. They sent appointment confirmations, texted when the tech was on his way, and kept that communication throughout the quote process and initial hiring. Once I hired them, they maintained their service. My tech was Sean Bartlett & his partner and Sean made sure I felt comfortable, informed, and satisfied throughout the process. Got the job done! My fridge suffered a mishap during my recent move. A piece on top of my fridge that allows the door to open broke/got damaged. Alex was quick to respond and came the next morning. He was punctual and was able to repair the door in less than half hour. He even put the rest of my fridge back together and wiped everything down for me! We are generally very pleased with our overall experience with ASP Engineering! Alex, our technician, was punctual, polite, and courteous. This was our first time working with ASP Engineering. Our AC was leaking on Father's Day (Sunday). We called ASP Engineering, and we were able to get through and set an appointment for an initial inspection on Monday. Initial inspections are not free but are waived if you agree to move forward with the company. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the technician was unable to make it to the Monday appointment because an emergency, but the company had the courtesy to notify us a couple hours in advanced to inform us that the technician was unable to make the Monday initial inspection appointment. We were able to schedule another appointment the for following day of Tuesday, same time. Our technician, Alex, arrived early. He was kind. He explained the reasoning behind the leak and what repairs needed to be made well. He provided an estimate for repairs. Scheduling a follow up appointment for repairs was quick and easy. The appointment for repairs was scheduled for 8AM but he was punctual and arrived early at 7:50AM. We believe Alex did a good job overall! Highly recommend ASP Engineering company! ASP Engineering also does a good job in keeping you updated via Text to inform/remind you of scheduled appointments with them, to inform you of any changes in scheduling, and you let you know if your technician is on the way or arriving early. read more

I mean...the reviews don't lie. They are quick, knowledgeable, trustworthy, considerate and KIND! They came in diagnosed quickly and found the issue. Luckily my situation wasn't worst case scenario. (Thank goodness) So they repaired my AC unit soon after. So I'm talking diagnosing, and FIXING my AC within an hour! Amazing. Very happy with my choice! Speaking about choice, just a little side note here. Unfortunately, I had to deal with some other company that claims they're ideal air and heat business. They called me to ask me about my project and I told them I couldn't talk at the moment. So an hour goes by and I get a text asking if we want to continue with the project. I told him that we had already chose another company (ASP Engineering) and he got upset we didn't choose to work with them. So he text me that I owe him x amount of money for the CALL he made to ME about my project, mind you I've never heard of this guy before he called me. Nor did I want him to call me. I know it sounds ridiculous. But it put a lot of stress on me, and made me think how there can be these kind of people out there that do that to others. Who make up something and say, because I put out an ad that I need help with a service, and because he called me...that I need to pay him for saying hello I'm calling about your AC unit. That's literally all he said before I told him I can't talk right now and I'll contact him at a later time. I mean...He went as far as requesting money from my Zelle account which I thought was very invasive!
