In the 3D Printing Class, Does the Class have time to print a small model during class?

Yes! Usually you can print a simple whistle in about 15 minutes, which can be done in class. This can be a useful gift for small children with parents you cannot stand ;)… Read more

It is an open space with all sorts of art supplies, tools, and just about anything your imagination can muster up. Lots of inspiration. I was hoping to make more than just one small block and have different supplies like fabric for printing. It was very therapeutic to carve my small block. The class felt a little scattered - but it was a very easy going environment, super relaxed. Our instructor was friendly and encouraged us to tap into originality without overthinking it instead of looking up patterns or inspo on our phone. I really liked that. And she offered us all coffee, freshly made. You can basically come in to do all the arts and craft your heart desires, on a donation basis. Affordable and unique way to release your artistic side without investing too much in all the supplies and then an abandoning a hobby. I'd come back with a friend and check out a different class.

They had construction paper, ribbons, highlighters, stamps, hot glue guns, and anything you might find at Michael's. Our instructor was very knowledgeable and showed us how she made her lanterns. She walked us step-by-step through the process. Now, I'm not a crafty person, but I was inspired enough by the ambiance and overflow of art supplies to get some creative juices flowing. At the end, I was able to create my own lanterns with some creative twists. I had a fun time and will recommend my crafty friends to check this place out!

Loved the plants my fiancée and I got from here before. We shopped here in 2024 but our original…read moreplants died because of home flooding. My fiancée was excited to treat me to some replacement plants from the store that stated it all and got me a gift card. We drove up to Plant Party last weekend and were shocked to find out that the brick and mortar store that used to be there is completely empty. This was pretty confusing to us because the website said absolutely nothing about this status of the store changing. Neither do any of their social media platforms. We drove home disappointed and my fiancée reached out to the store owner to ask about how we could get our plants because my store gift card was for the in-person store. We were informed that we could either get a refund or use the credit on the gift card towards the online store. Unfortunately, the options on the site were pretty limited and the store online has a 75 dollars order limit, which was more than we were intending to spend (hence the 50 dollar gift card). As such, my partner decided to reach out again to try and get her refund. It has been several days and several attempts of contacts later and we have heard nothing. So my partner has filed a claim with her credit card company. To say we are extremely disappointed with the service is an understatement. We really had such fond memories of Plant Party prior to this, but this entire situation has definitely soured our opinion. Update: We have still not received our refund, and we were never communicated with that the refund would be going through until I posted this review. I feel like there is a general struggle with communication. I understand that business close and go, but based off of their social media and the website, one would not think that the store was closed and that led to multiple issues on our end. We drove all the way to Austin to try and support a business we both enjoyed just to find an empty store. Clarity would have been greatly appreciated.

I emailed the school and they simply sent me a link to the class cancelation policies and have not answered my emails since. I suspect I will not see any of my money back since the two months after cancelation already had passed and I didn't receive my money back nor any email explaining what their plan to reimburse me is. I would not enroll on those people classes. ACC classes are about the same price per module, they are more reputable and trustworthy. Avoid it if you can.

So I signed up for the Digital Filmmaking class and boy was I wrong about never needing to take a class. I learned so much from this course. The film I produced from concept to completion for the class (Lessons in Life #3) has now received it's 7th Official Selection to a film festival and it continues to gain success. By going to film festivals with my little film, I've made networking connections and have now hired to direct and produce 2 more short films through these connections----all because of this wonderful class I almost didn't take at the Austin School of Film. The class will teach you everything you need to take your story and put it to film, and be successful with it. Don't get me wrong, after you finish the class, it takes a lot of work to market your film and get it seen, but with the help of everything I learned in this class, I had a wonderful little gem of a film that I'm so happy with and never would have had for it not with the help of the Austin School of Film. I recommend this class for all levels of filmmakers. Get refreshed! Get schooled! Get signed up! Email me if you have any questions about the course or school. I'll be happy to help.

They have an insane selection of toys. Cars, musical instruments, trucks, dolls, pretend food. They have an outside area with a beautiful playhouse, chalk, the coolest trampoline I've ever seen, and giant blocks. The endless activities aren't the only thing that sets figment apart. The teachers there are so kind and happily play with the kiddos. Lastly, and probably my favorite part of this place, there's so many animals! They've got cats, goats, a guinea pig, a bunny, a tortoise (I think lol), and birds. My son always puts up a fight to leave! Figment is our favorite place to go when we don't know what to do. I do wish they had memberships available. We'd sign up in a heartbeat.

We have attended the toddler group several times. There are several different activities set up and the children can pick their preferred activity. This really fosters independence in a safe environment. All the activities are fun sensory activities that are very intentional for language learning and development. The best part is the different animals. There are three miniature goats that are very gentle with the children and very mischievous too. There is also Lizzo the lizard, a bunny, some hamsters, chickens, and Origami the cat. The staff is phenomenal and very encouraging and loving with the children. There are different classes for different age groups and there is an option to have an art teacher come to your home and do some activities with your child. I recommend this to anyone who has a child that is looking for fun, safe, educational, and exciting activities!
