The garage before smelled like cigarettes, with holes in the walls, flickering lights, and had no insulation in the walls. David installed all new drywall, batting insulation in the walls, textured/painted everything, and installed 5 new LEDs in the ceiling. He also installed new outlets, and block off plates to pretty things up. He offered a fair price for the work, and also installed a support post under my front door awning to prevent it from sagging. I've now got a good connection for future work, and David helped connect me with a good garage door installer to get an opener for my now epic garage. I signed and accepted the bid. But when they showed up at the job site, they said they had read the drawings wrong and that the price will be $11,000. When I told them we have a signed and accepted bid, they said the contract was issued by the owner and he was sick at the time and didn't know what he was doing, and then they said they had already talked to their lawyer and there was nothing I could do. I had to either pay the new price or they will walk off the job and they did, leaving us without a roof right before the rainy season is about to start. I would not recommend using them at all. They get you hooked with a low bid and then try to extort more money.
