The restaurant itself is quite small inside and the takeaway/delivery service is one of the slower ones in town. The kitchen seems to struggle to cope with diners and takeaways on a Saturday night so the latter can often disappoint - once you've phoned several times to find out where it's got to. Eating in the restaurant, though, is always a good experience. The food is fresh, tasty and the range should suit all palettes. Price wise, it's slap bang in the middle and definitely won't break the bank.

As such, it's an ideal place to end a night on the beers. You're not going to offend anyone, you won't be too much out of pocket and the food isn't going to have you on the Thunder-box the next morning. The chef's specials are old favourites, the recommended dishes are old favourites and, in case you didn't spot them, the old favourites are list by section too. Sauces can tend to be quite rich and heavy - even on the vegetable dishes, and service is quiet and efficient. The value for money is superb - given the quality of the meal that you're presented with and the place is generally packed out at weekends.
