Asiana Garden is without a doubt The Best Korean Restaurant in the city of Memphis. The food is stellar. I usually have the Pork Bulgogi which is superb. Their dumplings are to die for. Everything I ever eaten there has been fantastic. The service is always friendly and efficient. And the atmosphere is clean, pleasant, and cozy. It's a little out of the way--but always worth the drive. I wouldn't eat Korean food anywhere else in Memphis. If it's Korean food It's Asiana Garden.

This is by far one of my go to places in memphis! Excellent customer service, delicious food, and a very cozy atmosphere. I've never had one bad experience here. I'm actually surprised I haven't posted a review. But definitely come check them out! I recommend the spicy chicken bulgogi

Food was great. Service left a lot to be desired. I will try to come back and try dinner to see if things are better because food was so good.

But…read moreclearly that is just a line given because the hostess didn't even remain at the desk- she went to the bar and sat down and was drinking her drink and staying on her phone. We saw a few tables exit and how would she even know if no one is hosting the stand? She literally had her back to everything. We felt trapped as 15, 20, 30, 45 minutes went by. After an hour we were finally seated. It was that horrible experience of not knowing if we should leave or if we had already invested so much time, surely we would be the next person called? I wish the hostess would've told the truth about the wait. It was only after patrons that came in behind us started to rightfully become upset, suddenly there was a host of people at the stand and tables were getting cleared. After an hour, we were finally seated in the very back of the restaurant and it took another 5 to 7 minutes before someone came over and acknowledged us. The salad bar area where you can make your sauce was missing half of the ingredients and absolutely no attempts were being made to refill the station. Items were left off of our order and we had to ask for them to be brought out. Saw a lot of employees standing around on their phones behind the salad bar station near the bathrooms in the kitchen. There are now far too many AYCE Korean/ Asian BBQ/ hotpot areas in Memphis to go back to a place with bad service and low quality food experiences. We used to proudly bring our out of town friends and family to try this dining experience- but would be too embarrassed to bring them now.

The restaurant is clean, spacious, and beautifully decorated with a traditional Chinese touch that even changes with the seasons. The manager is incredibly nice! I highly recommend the siu mai and the dry beef rice noodle. The siu mai are huge and super juicy, and the beef rice noodle has that perfect smoky, charred aroma from high-heat stir-frying! The carts carrying small dishes of delicious tasting morsels, sort of a tapas experience with Chinese food rather than Spanish. The food is solid if not spectacular. The ambiance reminds me so much of my experiences in Hong Kong. Not to mention the good housekeeping seal of approval when you see how many Chinese and Asians are there dining! If the people who know what 'real Chinese cooking' is all about are eating there, you know you are getting as close to the real thing as possible. Friendly staff will help you on ordering if you ask, but as a rule they will assume you know what you want when you sit down. If you are unfamiliar just ask. I've never had any issues getting answers. So, if you are looking for 'real' Chinese food, served in a unique way, please check out Dim Sum King...but be careful. The plates are small and the food is delicious but don't get too carried away trying everything because it is surprisingly filling. Which is nice because you'll want to come back again.

The decor and furniture was pretty sparse; I assume so there is room to walk around when the bar is busy. As far as the food, it was my first time having Korean bbq and it was delicious! I recommend the bulgogi. Our server said the dinner portions were huge, but we were a bit underwhelmed by the size. When you order one of the meat dishes, you get white rice with it and 3 sides of kimchi, Korean potato salad, and a bean sprout salad. The sides are very small, so be prepared to fill up on meat and rice. We also enjoyed the goonmandu (fried dumplings) as an appetizer. Overall, I really enjoyed the food, but the location and ambience left something to be desired.

Their ramen is literally top ramen instant packs with chicken bouillon cubes and maybe some seasonings...& their appetizers are always greasy. Mandu's aren't really even mandus. Their jjangmeon is greasy as well and not even authentic to its real taste. I gave it 3 more tries before I realized yeah..this place has gone downhill terribly. I didn't like one of my dishes and i specifically told them what I didn't like about it and they still charged me because the chef said "I made it correctly" and I was very disappointed because a kimchi soup should NEVER taste tomatoe-y EVER. I looked back in the kitchen and saw white folks in the kitchen and knew yeah, no. this establishment has no soul or care. There are better Korean options here in Memphis, after some time this place has lost all its care and soul. This was the absolute best Korean food I've had since being stationed in Korea, twenty (20) years ago. I had the Beef Bulgogi Fries, which was drizzled lightly with what I think is a spicy mayo. Thank goodness for social media food reviewer Big Tae, because after seeing his video review and how he raved about this place, I just had to try them! I went basic and got a Korean beef and cheese corn dog. I will say, I was disappointed with this one. It was delicious, however, I thought at first they forgot the beef. The first half of my corn dog was just cheese, then I found the beef, but the cheese was not with the beef. So it was a half and half. I would have liked for the beef to be longer and the cheese to be in with the beef. Nonetheless, the taste was great. Crunchy and great flavor. The sugar on top was interestingly good with it. The other item I got was the vegetable egg roll. I would have rather got the chicken, but they were out. It was a decent egg roll. It was extremely hot when I got it so I let it cool down and by that point it was starting to get soggy. They were big. I'll have to try the Bulgogi next time and a different Korean corn dog also.
