Excellent!!!! The food was amazing. Walnut chicken was my favorite. Never had anything like it. Outstanding!!!! Egg drop soup so good. Not to mention the prices so reasonable. read more

Service was great. Not too crowded on a weekend night, I was expecting a crowded space by the look of the packed parking lot. Swift and attentive service, our beverages were never not filled and our table was promptly cleaned everytime they passed by. The food was great! As a picky eater I left full and happy! So many options to choose from, and they had hand scooped ice cream that my kiddo really enjoyed. What a great restaurant with great vibes and atmosphere. read more

Looked very cool with the black lights and the dry ice...but could have been better IMO. I got the hibachi thinking it's fresh and asked the grill chef if he could add some seasoning to the food while it cooked. He barely tipped 3-4 grains of salt on it. Of course it was bland. But then after visiting many of the stations, much of the food was bland. The most flavorful was the fresh fried crab rangoon and the sesame seed fried dough balls. The sushi had variety but it seemed to all taste the same and pretty bland. Service was good. Variety was ok. Just need to invest in some seasoning and use it. Salt, Pepper, fish sauce, eel sauce, soy sauce...something. read more

Drove across the state line for this buffet. I'm glad we got there 30 minutes after opening because by the time we left it was a full house. I was surprised by how good the sushi was for a buffet. The waiters and waitresses were very attentive to every table even though it was very busy. There's plenty's of seating inside and it's fairly clean from what I saw. read more

This buffet is by far the largest buffet I've ever seen in my life. It's from one end of building to the other. The food is fantastic. It's always fresh and hot. The people there are so friendly and nice. They are always busy but yet they still have time for every customer have a very large selection of sushi items lots of salad bar options lots of dessert options I will always be a customer as long as they are there. If you're in the area, you really need to give this a try. read more

Very cold and stale food and the staff are kinda rude they just watch you eat and talk in their own language so you can't understand them and a lot of the food looked like it been their all day and the only reason I eat their is because I was starving read more

The restaurant in Sikeston that just opened. One of the employees yelled at a little boy trying to make his plate at the buffet. Little guy was in tears!!!!!! So unnessecary! read more

Best Asian buffet I've ever been to! Great service too. Family style! It's by far my favorite place to eat!!!

I ordered beef fried rice, egg rolls, and shrimp. The food was not seasoned properly and lacked flavor. When the meal was delivered, the cook appeared to say something uncomfortable to the cashier regarding my order, which added to an already negative experience. I do not understand why customers like this place, as the food quality was poor. I will not be returning. read more

Great Food!!! It was very fresh and a clean atmosphere. Service was Great!!! We will visit again.

I went to the Yummy Buffet today. Service was good, food was good, cleaned good, EVERYTHING WAS GOOD!!!!

I tried to eat there tonight. The posted hours on Yelp and on the door are until 9 pm. I walked in at 835 pm and asked for a table for 1. The guy said maybe I should look at the buffet since it was the end of the day and make sure they had what I wanted. I did, and they still had plenty of food to choose from. I went back to the desk and said it was OK and I needed table for 1. He said carry out only. I said the door says you are open till 9. He just said no. I again said but your door says you are open till 9. He said no again. I would have probably been out by nine had he seated me but evidently he wanted to close and didn't give a damn about a Customer. I will never stop there again. read more

Great selection. Everything was fresh. We were in town for a week and ate there 3 different times.

Service good. Pretty average an uninspiring food. Not bland, but not great. Just average. Nothing really stood out.

I just ordered the steak (I am not even sure if it was steak) and shrimp for lunch and it is almost not edible. Most disgusting food I have ever tasted. And there are crunchy bites here and there. Not sure what that is? GROSS. To their credit they did give me a full refund. read more

Asian Yummy Buffet - Chinese Near Me - Cape Girardeau, Missouri

I really wanted to hate this place because of what used to be in the building. The dark gross Great Wall restaurant that used to be here would make a maggot gag. But the new Yummy Buffet was way more than a Chinese buffet. There was so much food to choose from and it was all delicious! There was even a sushi selection and a wok where they would fix something up fresh. Great desert and a self serve ice cream selection. We will definitely have to come back to try something else! You should stop in and give them a try. Come hungry leave happy! If you don't then dim-sum ting wrong with you! Haha read more

After hours of being in the car, I was hungry. Decided to Yelp a place to eat. This was an excellent choice for very delicious Chinese and hibachi food. If you want delicious Asian food, this is one of the best places to choose. Enjoy! read more

I've been a few different times and the story is always the same. The food is good but their set up for the buffet is absolutely terrible. There's basically one way into each area and one way out of each separate buffet. You end up running into people the entire time and it's not practical. It's almost to the point to where I don't want to go eat there just bc of this. Yet I find myself going back. That's what good food will do to you though. Not a fan of where they store the plates that close to the floor. Seems like it maybe a bit of a cleanliness/health hazard being there. The staff has always been really nice and on top of things even when the place is pretty much full. read more

Cool decor. Nice hibachi grill, when you can find the person operating it. Paid a lot of money hoping for the hibachi grill and getting none. Most sushi had disgusting dressing on it. On sushi??? Would have been so nice without it. Soup was great. Most items were cold. Hot fish finally came out and it was UNDERCOOKED and GROSS. Cold shrimp is nasty. Letting people take buffet to go is a mistake, they swooped in and took all of the fresh food, way more than a person could eat. Disgusting. Excellent iced tea. read more

I ate at the previous Chinese buffet, which was pretty good. The rebranded, remodeled restaurant is even better. Huge selection. Quality ingredients. Clean floors and furnishings. Definitely worth trying if you like Chinese. read more

How in the world did this place get 4/5 stars?? What an absolutely disgusting excuse for a Chinese meal. The kicker? You pay over fourteen dollars for it. "Due to rising food prices," according to the sign next to credit card machine on the way out. You know what? If it was good, or even decent, I'd be happy to pay it, since I'm sure I'd be leaving stuffed full of food. So how was it? Sweet. Extra sweet. Every freaking dish was sweeter than the sweetest sweet. Even the stuff that wasn't supposed to be sweet, was sweet. I had images of the owner yelling at the cooks to ADD MORE SUGAR!!! GWAI LOH LOVE SWEET!! MORE!!! General Tso Chicken? Should have been called "General Sweet Chicken." Sesame Chicken? No--"Sesa-sweet Chicken." Granted, I didn't have the frog legs, or the Salmon, or any of the crap nobody gets at Chinese buffets, so I don't know if those were sweet or not, (probably were) I just stuck to the basics--The dishes mentioned above, Black Pepper Chicken, Chicken and Sweet--I mean, Chicken and Broccoli, etc. All disgustingly over-sweetened. Not to mention, soggy, and "well-aged," as if they had come out of the fryer around lunch time (I went at 6:30pm). Gross. Just gross. The only ubiquitous items I had that were not sweet, were white rice, and green beans (which were actually pretty good)--should have just eaten those two things--I probably wouldn't feel like I need to mainline some insulin right about now. But, as good as the rice and green beans were, they were not worth $14. Absolutely gross. 4 out of 5 stars? Stay classy, Cape Girardeau. read more

This is now my favorite Asian buffet this is a clean place .It has a wide variety of Asian foods along with some southern comfort foods which kinda surprised me but hey if it sells.I especially liked the hibachi I like my food a bit fresher and hot, even when I was there the food was continuously being rotated. When I went it was a packed house so I Kinda expected the foods to be rotated. The service was kinda slow however she was kinda busy and she did amazingly keep our drink glasses filled till they wanted us to leave it is to be expected.I definitely will go back with more family and friends. read more

I am constantly travel and am somewhat of a food junkies and lover of Chinese buffets I must say this is one of the best Chinese buffets I have ever been to. The restaurant was clean, up to date, and nice, and the service was amazing and the food was presented well and it was hot and tasted great. I was surprised when I received the check and saw the price..I expected to pay way more than what their price is. So it's a great overall experience!!! read more

We were with a large group of 8 two of which were toddlers. It is clean and attractive. The food was good and hot. The place that used to be here was less than one star. There were a lot of people and a lot of waitstaff. We had very good service. I liked the dumplings and hot and sour soup the best. The cute little peach shaped dumpling was the best! read more

I used to visit different Chinese buffets in the area, but not since this one opened. The layout may be fairly typical, but the food is awesome. The fried squid and the salt-and-pepper shrimp are my favorites. Their squid has the perfect texture and a buttery/peppery taste that's addictive. Their yellow rice is a perfect match for the sauces in most of the entrees. And I have yet to be able to save any room for desserts. No complaints about the service, cleanliness of the restaurant or parking, so I'll see y'all there! read more

Food is very good, but the atmosphere is horrible. Overcrowded and noisy, not a place for a peaceful meal or a quiet conversation. Wait staff seem overworked and hassled- they rarely smile or act friendly. Tables are crammed together so you're sitting with strangers. They seem to be put out to have a single diner come in and will give you a tiny table placed in what should be the aisle. Like eating at the airport food court. read more

For example, we went there at 8.00pm, and there were some stuff are already cold. The surfaces on several food are hard to eat. Unfortunately, they said it was too late, so no changing of those food. I don't know who tell the owner should run business in this wild way. read more

The peas were not cooked in the fried rice, the General Tso's had no taste, not even spicy. Most of the food tasted bland.

Very good food and a great place to stop. There are many dishes for everyone; various meat choices, sushi, and many other asian cuisine options. I definitely recommend! read more

Would earn 5 stars but I am very unhappy with the way our "senior discount' was handled when we ate there on Sunday March 3rd 2019. We were told at the register we should have "told the waitress we were Seniors at the table before she brought the bill" WHAT, we always were told to tell the cashier before we paid. Not much money, but seniors get discounts because it helps us be able to eat at a restaurant since we are on fixed income. Food was great!! Dining area was very clean and wait staff is very helpful. Not so much the guy at the register. If you are a senior be "SURE" to tell the waitress if you are a senior. read more
