I ordered delivery from Asian Cuisine with Uber Eats. Fast delivery and everything was packaged nicely. Food was good and the portions big; will be eating Chinese for a few days:) Highly recommend, will be back!:)

    Great portion

I noticed this place was new so I gave them a shot. The service was friendly, the portions were large and the cost was reasonable. I ordered a shrimp pad Thai with added broccoli and carrots. Strangely they made it with broccoli and mushrooms, no carrots. Maybe the cook misunderstood but still it was tasty and worth a visit.

Is this really $13 plate ?

The chef, Hiroyuki Terada is world renowned and has a YouTube following of over two million. He deserves every bit of praise....the food here is phenomenal! We opted for their most popular ramen dish, Tonkotsu. Simmered 12 hour bone broth with tender Chashu. Garlic fried rice, the Takoyaki appetizer. Every dish was absolutely delicious, flavorful and filling. The portions are generous. To finish the meal we shared a dessert, Xango. A deep fried cheesecake crepe served with vanilla ice cream, drizzled with caramel sauce and sprinkled with cinnamon. O.M.G....PERIOD! Afterwards we spoke to Chef Terada and let him know how much we enjoyed ourselves. He was as warm and inviting as his food. He shared stories and even took pictures with us! An extra special thanks to our server Sandy. This gentleman was on point in every way....friendly, professional, knowledgeable, funny and gracious. It was evident he truly enjoys his job. This aesthetically pleasing establishment is literally a hidden gem. Tucked within the City Park Mall in Riverwalk Center, attached to the North Parking garage. It seems like such an obscure place but once you find it..... This is on my list of best culinary experiences for the year, thus far. Spicy edamame was more great garlic than heat. Delicious. Star down for the takoyaki that was perfectly presented but undercooked greasy and mushy. Oil wasn't hot enough. It was a first time for my friend. I hope it improves the next time. Sushi was awesome! Service was on-point and attentive. Parking, being in a public garage, was plentiful. I will absolutely be back. Elite Yelpers? Hidden gem alert.

We started with the Krab Rangoon dip, which was so delicious and is a must-try if you like Krab Rangoons. The dip comes in a little skillet with wonton chips on the side for dipping. We also ordered the hamachi jalapeño, which was nice and fresh. For our entrées, my friend and I split the Phat Girl roll and the chicken garlic ramen, which they were kind enough to split in the kitchen for us. The ramen was delicious and was exactly what we wanted on a rainy night. The Phat Girl roll was good, but definitely not my favorite roll I've had. We ended up with some leftovers. After hanging out and talking for a while longer, we ordered the banana Nutella dumplings for dessert. They were different than we expected, but still very good! The waitress was super attentive and never rushed us. Overall, the food and service are always consistently good.

While service was just okay, the sushi itself stood out for all the wrong reasons. We ordered hot sake which tasted far too sweet and watered down. If not watered down, then the brand was far inferior to other house sakes offered locally. The smell inside the restaurant was very off putting and overpowering. We tried a typical JB Roll and a Lemon Drop Roll that the server recommended. Neither were great. The quality of the fish and flavor were just not there. The recommended roll's sauce was lemon based and while we had high hopes for it based on the description, it was just not enjoyable and we ended up leaving half of it and going to another restaurant across the way where we had a much more enjoyable experience with both the food and the service. Although we had visited Sushi Song in the past, it had been years since our last visit. I had really hoped to find another local go-to spot. However, the interior really needs some TLC and a deep clean, and the quality of the sushi unfortunately does not warrant a return visit.

This restaurant was suggested by a local and they couldn't say enough good things about it. Upon, entering the restaurant we were welcomed immediately and told to sit where we'd like. We decided to sit at the bar. The chef didn't look particularly happy about us sitting there when the server came from the back he said the chairs were not stable and asked us to sit at another table. We said okay, happy they were thinking ahead to prevent one of us getting hurt. Once we sat down the server asked us what we wanted to drink, I asked for an ice tea, the server said "we don't have that" very pointedly and was giving off an attitude that we were being an inconvenience to him. My friend and I agreed on just water. Looking at the menu there were other tea options and that wasn't offered. The food came out relatively fast, I ordered the Tuna California Roll and the Spicy Tuna Roll. The presentation was nice but the flavor was lacking and the sushi roll fell apart when trying to pick it up to eat. The Tuna California Roll was okay, nothing over the top or bad, typical. The Spicy Tuna Roll was not good. It was if the spicy sauce was not made for flavor. It was over powering with the spicy that it made the whole role taste of the roll, I didn't event finish the roll. To top it off the server's attitude grew with every interaction we had with him (which was few) when we were paying the check he snapped at my friend and then even closed his eyes and took a deep breath then apologized. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience, the food didn't meet our expectations and the servers attitude didn't create a welcoming atmosphere (I didn't even feel comfortable asking for a straw for my water). There's potential here but these allot of improvement needed. I look forward to giving this place another chance in the future and hope it's a better experience.

On this particular Wednesday evening, we stopped by Lauderale Brewery (corresponding review to follow). For those not familiar, Wednesday night is trivia night, which always delivers solid school night entertainment. Lauderale is layed out with a large brewery/warehouse holding seating for around 80 and a length of bar, leading to an outdoor covered patio and stage, with additional seating in the adjacent gazebo area under umbrella picnic tables. I'm mentioning these details, because it was raining this November evening, which may have elevated my experience. After we lost trivia in typical fashion and enjoying countless rounds of my favorite current beer on tap, "Mr. Pickles", I set my eyes on the Kaminari Ramen trailer located between the stage and gazebo areas. There had been steady traffic flow all evening, the 8-10 item menu had a few things crossed off, after running out. For me, that is generally a good sign. To run out of things, usually means alot of people ordered. After quickly browsing the menu, the missing items didn't change my choice. I went straight for the top ramen dish, Tonkotsu. It had all the staples I look for on a rainy night in November. The chef took the time to explain they were out of bean sprouts, and confirmed fresh cabbage was an acceptable substitute. I agreed, she asked where I would be sitting, and told me they would deliver it shortly. I grabbed a picnic table with an umbrella, it was lightly raining, and the live band was starting their first set. A couple songs later, my ramen masterpiece was delivered to Janic Joplin's Piece of My Heart in poetic fashion. I was immediately blown away by the visual presentation. The broth held a creamy appearance, consistent with pork being poached in it during the cooking process. That milky liquid was the perfect backdrop to make the other ingredients pop. One half of a perfectly soft-boiled egg was positioned at twelve o'clock, a small pink star shaped fishcake poked out, followed by sliced green onion, the brightness pink pickled ginger, and fresh cabbage completed the clockwise plating. On the outskirts of the bowl, strips of braised pork and wavy noodles subtly lyed under the broth, peeking out here and there. First taste was just the broth with a couple green onion stowaways. A proper ramen is all about the broth. If you get that wrong, it doesn't matter what else you put in it. It was magnificent . The sweet, sour, bitter salty, umami all hit in perfect symphony. I dropped the spoon, out come the chopsticks, and the vibe leveled up instantly. I snatched a slice of pork, with a few noodles, onion, and a bit of ginger. The pork was perfectly cooked, but that pickled ginger stole the show! I tried to get a couple slivers in every bite from that point forward, switching between pork, fishcake, and soft-boiled egg. I proceeded to devour one of the top three bowls of ramen ever to grace my palate. Each bite better than the last, until only broth remained. Chopsticks retired, back to spoon, and BBB (bye bye broth). To put things in perspective, this may be my longest Yelp review to date, and it is about a single bowl of Ramen. I'm not sure if it was the Pickle sour beer traveling through my veins, the cold November rain (shout out GnR), the substitution of fresh cabbage over bean sprouts, the band as a backdrop, or just plain ol culinary mastery, but whatever it was, this bowl of ramen will not be forgotten. As midnight struck bringing the crowd into Thanksgiving together, I took a minute to be thankful for Lauderale hosting Kaminari, the folks that served me, the chef(s) that prepared the dish, and every person that had a hand in farming and harvesting the 20+ ingredients. Sometimes we take for granted the time and schematics involved in producing one bowl of ramen from a trailer, parked at a brewery, in a marine warehouse district, near Port Everglades, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, the eve before Thanksgiving. All my problems seemed a little less problem-ie after taking my last sip from the bowl and swig of Mr. Pickles. I strongly recommend you track them down and have your own enlightened experience.
