I was a little nervous because I'd never had a massage from a male therapist before, but the woman at the front desk was incredibly kind and reassured me that if I felt uncomfortable at any point, I could let her know. Thankfully, there was no need--Johnny was completely professional, got right to work, and gave me the best deep tissue massage I've had anywhere in the Tri-Valley. I can't wait to go back and plan to make seeing Johnny a regular part of my self-care routine. Highly recommend!

I was really impressed with this spa. I made an appt through the phone for a 1 hour Swedish massage…read moreand paid when I arrived. I love the decor and ambience of this spa. It's not one of those tacky cheap massage places where you're getting a massage right next to 20 other random people. There are individual rooms, soothing music, maintains very clean atmosphere. The lady who gave me a massage did a wonderful job and helped with the knots on my back. She worked on my arms, legs, back, scalp, face, and neck. The massage was 50 dollars for an hour which is so worth it and do expect to give tip (which you should). I loved this place so much that I made another appointment for my husband and I. They also offer couples massage if you ever want to take your significant other out.

She then showed us to our room. I was with my lady getting a couples massage. We were getting undressed to lay on the table and she knocked and we said one minute and she proceeded to open the door to scan the second coupon I had mentioned earlier, while leaving the door wide open and my partner was undressed. That was a problem. The massage was okay. Felt rushed at times and limited massage oil. Not my favorite massage as the two ladies that were working in there kept talking to each other pretty loudly and it was hard to enjoy the massage. After the massage was over, my lady went to the bathroom and there was a different lady at the front. She let me know that I had to wait at the front. As I walked to the front she asked who will be taking care of the $35 per person minimum tip. I said what? She mentioned that $35 per masseuse is what we should tip. I asked her that's strange.. in all of my history getting massages, I've never been told that there is a minimum to tip. She got very angry with me and slapped the table a couple times and said, I'm not going to argue with you guys.. just leave what you're gonna leave and go. I later realized they were requesting the same amount we "saved" from the coupon. I was going to tip them for their work but after the way she was talking to us and guilt tripping us for it, I ended up just walking away. Will never come back.

I got the two part package, a 16 min chair massage and 16 min foot massage. They are separate, you can buy packages, mix and match, have a full body massage, all sorts of options. It felt great, next time I'm doing a full body massage and then a long foot massage, talk about exactly what you need after an afternoon running errands. The massage therapists were quiet and friendly, the atmosphere is very quiet as well but very comfortable, high-quality chairs, they clean up quickly and thoroughly. I plan to come back once a week when I'm in the east bay! I highly recommend it and if you want to go again but aren't thrilled with your massage therapist you can request who you like. I have friends that only like certain people so they call in advance to schedule.

Staff was super friendly and all smiles, making me feel welcome from the moment I stepped in. The massage room was simple with dim lighting and minimal decor, and gentle melodies played in the background during my session. I asked for harder pressure, and when my masseuse applied deep tissue pressure, it was good! But it wasn't consistent pressure throughout, which was noticeable to me, and she did miss some spots too. The effort was there for sure, though. And she did a thorough job on my legs, particularly my hamstrings, calves, and shins (it's rare for these parts to get that much attention, so I appreciated this). All in all, lots to love about this place.

We got a couples massage and at the begging they were slightly obnoxious by talking to each other or picking up the phone but I let it slide because for about $65 a massage you're getting a killer deal. I wouldn't say the massage was like relaxing because they definitely try to iron out your back problems but I enjoyed it and will definitely come back.

Her hit all the knots, I swear I walked out of there seeing better and I walked in w a cold, I think it's gone. Her hands are a gift. She's not light so don't expect her to go easy which is what I asked for-hard and deep. I'm only sad it took me this long to find her. The salon was clean, simple and peaceful. They have calming music playing which didn't affect my serene feeling. I gotta say it again, she's hard core so be clear what you ask for cos she doesn't mess around. Thank you Ada and the Aroma Spa crew-you guys rock!!
