a plate of food on a table

I had noticed there were not any reviews in the last year so I wanted to post one. The food was wonderful, so fresh. The service was great, friendly and fast. It's in a strip mall but so worth the stop. Easy access and parking.

So fresh, fast and friendly :) warm welcome, Hot Food, fast service. I walked in on the phone (super rude ) but the staff was super friendly and treated me with kindness and understanding.

I am a big fan of restaurants that offer good food mainly to patrons in their specific neighborhood. Asian Kitchen is just such a place. I am a huge fan of the Tom Kha soup, which I get with chicken. You get to choose your own protein, as well as two vegetables. It is an ideal soup in winter or when you are feeling a little under the weather, but it is great when you are feeling well too. Other dishes that I am particularly fond of include salad rolls, the pad thai, yakisoba, and garlic and pepper pork (again, choose your protein). The owners are very nice, and I like to support them. You do have to navigate the open hours, however: currently (Feb 2022), no dine-in due to Covid, 3-8 pm Mon-Sat, EXCEPT closed the first Saturday of the month. And you may wish to call in your order, especially towards the end of the evening-- if business is really slow, there is no guarantee that they will not close the kitchen early. All in all, I am very glad that Asian Kitchen is in my neighborhood, and I am proud to support it.

Regular Pad Thai and Iced Green Tea Latte

Ever since at started working in West Linn, this has been my go to spot. Besides the food, their music selection is not bad either. Not the typical traditional Thai music that you hear at other restaurants. The Drunken noodles are my favorite but the Pad Thai and Udon Pad Thai are just as good. Prices aren't affordable. Service is always fast and it's rare that it gets crowded when I come (usually around 12:30pm - 2pm). Try the Iced Green Tea Latte. If you like Thai iced tea, you'll love this drink. Only downside is parking. Occasionally it can be pretty busy. I would suggest driving around a few times until a spot will opens up. It's also in the same lot as the liquor store in case you need a stiffer drink afterwards.

    Veggie Yaki Soba w/ Tofu

Visiting the Portland area for a couple days and got in yesterday. Was pretty hungry so my friend took me to a small hole in the wall spot here in Westlinn. Can't lie, initially I wasn't sure if I'd like the food based on outside appearance but the inside was cute and clean! Had boho style decor and aroma coming from kitchen smelled great. The cashier greeted us with a happy attitude and promptly took our order. The menu wasn't extensive but has a variety of different Asian cuisines. I decided on an order of veggie egg rolls and Vegetable yaki soba w/ tofu. They brought out the appetizers first and then our plates came out. Presentation wasn't all there but there's more to the eye for sure. The yaki soba noodles were cooked perfectly and the tofu was crispy! Vegetables were fried thoroughly ( which is to my liking! ) Was not sure how the tofu was going to be prepared. the crispiness of the tofu with the moist noodles made for a happy blend of textures. This eatery is a perfect example of ' you can't judge a book by its cover ' If you're in the Westlinn area craving noodles this is a safe choice! Very happy with my experience and the food.

BBQ chicken, doesn't taste any better than it looks

I was so hopeful. Service was quick and friendly, the table was clean the prices are affordable. The peanut sauce does deliver and the veggie daughter returned a tasty review of the healthy and delicious. The dumplings texture was closer to raw than cooked. The Thai BBQ chicken wasn't edible. The weird, yellowish/green, grainy sauce spooned over the odd medallions of chicken just tasted off to me. This is a one and done for me. Sorry.

A few tables to sit outside. It's located in a strip mall type of lot, so it's not quiet, but clean.

This place always has fresh food with the option to customize every meal to your liking. The service is very polite and the restaurant isn't what I'd call cozy, but clean. I'm close, so I prefer carry out. Great lunch spot in West Linn.

(20+ years living in Texas and 4+ years in Oregon trying to find some god damn good bbq). My buddy and I were just traveling through and came across this place. The portions are very big, but the quality of the food will have you willingly putting yourself in a post Thanksgiving food coma. Every sauce is made in house, and the flavor is absolutely immaculate. We ordered the wings (Asian Fire and Passionfruit Habanero), Brisket Sandwich, Cheesesteak Samdwich, and garlic Parmesan fries. Every fry was perfectly crisp. Every piece of brisket was falling apart. My god what an absolutely gem of a find in the middle of no where.

They have the best beer selection around and the staff is always incredibly friendly, cool, and helpful , the kind of crew that actually makes you want to come back. The food? Easily some of the best in the area. I've had the cheesesteak, brisket tacos, brisket sandwich, all fantastic, but the real showstoppers are their 30-day dry-aged ribeye and dry-aged New York. Seriously next level. Perfect flavor, perfectly cooked, and honestly some of the best meat you'll find anywhere in town. I've eaten at pretty much every restaurant on the main strip, and 1933 is the only one I keep coming back to. It's a true hidden gem in West Linn and absolutely worth checking out. Great owners, they care so much about quality. Extremely thankful for this restaurant!!!!

Came in on weekend for lunch and it was definitely a 40 min wait, but then literally no one on a Tuesday night for dinner. Somehow, the time for the food to come out was about the same. You get a few that come out quick, then a few that took long enough for me to notice it, and then always a few where you wonder if they forgot your dish. Even when there was no one else in the restaurant. The XLB and pot stickers are all super solid, not quite Ding Tai Fung quality, but at these prices and wait times they are great. Qbao's are delicious. I think the noodles are honestly slept on. They all have great flavor, super bouncy noodles, and honestly come in a size that you can easily finish on your own or still big enough to split in case you wanted to try another flavor. I also think the pork wonton's with chili sauce are also super slept on, the sauce is oddly sweet, but honestly I love that. Service here can be hit or miss. They don't really do a each table gets a specific server system, at least that hasn't been my experience. You'll get some food runners, and you can usually just flag anyone down to get what you need. But it does mean things can slip through the cracks if you don't have one person keeping an eye on the list of food ordered for the table or you have multiple servers checking in on you to see if you got all your food even though you just told the server 3 min ago you were still missing something. All in all, this place is phenomenal and approachable. I will be back, maybe not on the weekends though, it's not quite worth all that.

Upon first bite you'll realize how different it is from traditional fried chicken, and now it is the flagship for most people's first foray into KFC ( Korean Fried Chicken). The location in Clackamas Town Center is of no exception, and their quality and speed are still up to par. It's a great casual place to have some fried chicken and snacks ( or even heavier meals) with the family or friends. Their service is like any other chain, don't expect anything stellar, but there are no complaints either. The food is consistent, fresh, hot, crunchy, and plenty of flavor no matter what you get. I recommend trying their original flavors the Spicy and Soy Garlic wings on your first venture, but if you're familiar already then dive into their more expansive menu! I haven't had a miss yet, though their specialty is definitely their wings. The rest of their menu doesn't miss, but they aren't top tier compared to dedicated Korean restaurants. I find this to be more satisfying than anything in the Clackamas food courts, so I recommend anyone who hasn't tried Bonchon to give a look!
