I ordered my meal off of Uber eats. I had previously seen this food cart located at the new downtown west linn food chart pods. I know that there is limited street parking. The food cart pods are great for groups as there is plenty of seating. I especially enjoyed the salad rolls and Thai iced tea. The spicy fried rice had good flavor, but definitely not spicy. I was not a huge fan of the spring rolls, however they were complimentary with a $30 purchase on Uber eats. I will definitely be back as the food was good and the prices reasonable for the area. read more

I'm not one to bash on small businesses but this place does not deserve the support. The lady that took my order got my order wrong and then was so rude about it and refused to remake my order. I approached her nicely about the issue and she yelled at me that I was in the wrong and that she wouldn't remake my order. The worse service I've ever received. read more

Pinto Thai is food cart and its the best one I have ever been to! I have had it at least 10 times in the last few months. Some dishes that I tried and highly recommend is their curry, eggplant with tofu, pad thai, pad see ew, egg rolls, upon others. The only item I dont recommend is the chicken skewers. They were pretty dry. And their sticky mango rice is amazing! I have gotten their food to eat there and also to go and it stands up well if you eat it later. The service is a little slow but thats okay when the food is that good. There is plenty of parking in the area and also plenty of places to sit and chill as well. This area of food carts is really nice and you never have to wait to find seating. The prices are also extremely reasonable for the portion you receive. Highly recommend it. read more

She was told her food would take 90 minutes to prepare, while the adults who ordered after her were told only 10 minutes. What upset me most was how they spoke to her their dismissive tone actually made her cry. When my husband tried to address the situation, instead of offering kindness or even a simple apology, the staff acted as though we were the inconvenience. First, she denied how she treated my daughter, then admitted she simply didn't want to serve her because of a past issue. The lack of courtesy and professionalism made this one of the most uncomfortable and upsetting dining experiences I've ever had. I cannot recommend this place to anyone. There are plenty of options at the Willamette Carts that treat customers with respect Pinto Thai is not one of them. read more

My family is a regular at the Garage and have frequented this Thai spot many times. The woman who owns and works this cart is a problem. I don't usually write reviews but she told my 12 year old that any order from her would take 90 minutes. The adults in front and behind her were told 15 minutes. She was rude and one of the adults actually following my daughter to our table and shared how rude she was and lied about the time to cook. That prompted me to see what the wait would be if I ordered. 10 minutes . I asked the owner why do you tell my daughter 90 minutes. She denied this but when I pressed her she told me quite directly that my daughter had previously had a problem with one of her orders in the past and felt that she is too young to order on her own. In short she wanted to punish her instead of communicating an issue that could be addressed or ask for a parent to be involved. Instead my daughter was picked on so obviously that a stranger came to me to back up her story. I told the cart owner that it was unprofessional and she should deal with this better. She reminded me that I need to treat her as an owner with respect and stood by her claim that she really did not even want my daughter's business. This presented a teaching moment and opportunity to not only never buying food there again but also to spread the message that actions have consequences. Unfortunately you just need to read a few more reviews and talk to the Garage staff and you will see we are not alone. And we get to voice this concern publicly and allow for further natural consequences- like other people's wallets read more

Absolutely horrible Thai food. Way too much sauce and the server couldn't get off her phone call to get my order straight. While the food was fine, the person who took our order displayed attitude that bordered on rude. We were there on a very sleepy Sunday afternoon and didn't ask for anything special: only that a dish be gluten free and extra lime slices. The dish we needed to be GF was ordered less than 5 minutes before we asked for the GF version and though we were initially told the wait time would be 20 minutes, we were then told that dish was already made and couldn't be altered. When we asked for extra lime slices, the young person said they were out, turned around, then looked back and said to come back in 5 minutes so she could chop them up. In response to the prompt, I do in fact, recommend this food cart. I think the Thai food is very good, exactly the same quality you will find in brick and mortar Thai restaurants. I might add that the prices charged are similar as well. But you really are getting the same quality of Thai food. I have especially enjoyed the tofu salad rolls, the Pad Thai, essentially any meal with curry, and the chicken with lemongrass. I just ordered chicken pad Thai for $15 and was shocked at the incredibly small portion. I went back and asked if this was their normal portion and showed her that the noddles barely covered the bottom of the container. She said yes. I will never go back there. Do NOT get the crispy basil garlic chicken before checking if they're serving you refried ones. We had mixed results - sometimes crispy and other times stale and not crispy, and today we confirmed why -- they sometimes refry leftover (previous orders that were unclaimed??) chicken - resulting in tough, dry difficult-to-eat chicken pieces that are anything but crispy! When I checked w/ the cashier, she didn't flinch from admitting that the chicken was refried. Nor was she particularly perturbed that it led to an awful dining experience for the consumer. Can't say I enjoyed the food here. My husband and I got pad Thai, an order of cashew chicken and salad rolls. The salad rolls were great so that's why they get 2 stars. The other items were not. The pad Thai had hardly any sauce on it and tasted plain and not flavorful. The cashew chicken I couldn't even eat, it didn't smell normal and tasted weird. My husband ate it anyways and was on the toilet till 3am that night. I don't know for sure it was that food but it seems like it since he got a stomach ache shortly after. Got a to go order and when it arrived at my home it was missing the chicken skewer order and my green curry was not a green curry and the shrimp small and dirt tasting. The Tom Kha soup lacked in ingredients such as 2 small cherry tomatoes and seemed to not be very authentic to the soup at other Thai places. You also did not top mine with cilantro. Typically, Thai food is addicting and it's the type to where you don't want to stop eating it and you crave it but this food you made was poor and I tossed it. It contained about 98% unusual noodles in a flavorless sauce, about 5 bean sprouts without the green top, a slice of lime, and about 1/2 teaspoon of chopped peanuts. for $13.95 , I threw most of it out.
