Service (A+) The service is fast and friendly. They did an excellent job explaining the different options to me and getting the food out fast. Super friendly Value (A+) A bit over $20 out the door for one of the best poke bowls I have ever had. Food (A+) Got a poke bowl with salmon and tuna. Check out the pic. All fresh ingredients. Excellent. If this place was in a big city there would be a line out the door every minute of the day. Trust all the positive reviews.

However, I was a bit underwhelmed with the quality of tuna. There wasn't much complexity to the dish. The place is known for their ramen. So I would go for that next. Ambience is like a vintage oriental hut. Not much seating but a good place to do a casual date.

We ended up dining here before a concert at the nearby Mystic Lake Amphitheater (which was…read morecancelled). We didn't know what to expect since food in the suburbs can be pretty hit and miss, but Soi21 was actually really, really good. We got the Moo Krob, the red curry, sticky rice, and both the roasted eggplant jeow and the roasted tomato jeow. We also both got a cocktail. Service was fast and the inside was pleasant enough (it must have once been a Caribou, it reminded me of one). The food was definitely really good. The stars of the show were the jeows, some of the best we have had. The curry was flavorful and tasty, as was the Moo Krob. The cocktails were good; I would not come here expecting the same quality as a cocktail bar, but for a mom and pop thai restaurant, they were definitely above average. All in all I would definitely reccomed this place, especially before a show at the new amphitheater.

This is just a rating for a cocktail and attending a wedding party here…read more Saturday afternoon, quiet surrounding area. No curbside appeal or inviting signage outside. Enter restaurant an party is off to the right. A variety of seating options for all the guests; booths, high top chair and table and larger 6 seat tables in the center. A singer/songwriter played some music on his guitar. It was really good! Staff is really nice. Main bar in the restaurant is located in the center. It's an odd shape and isn't very inviting as it is sunken below the seating area to the right and far off from the hibachi areas on the left. Decent selection of cocktails, sake, and beer. Tried the plum wine - not something I would order again, but I have no experience in plum wine so I could just generally dislike it. My favorite drink was the Spicy Zentini! It was AWESOME!!!!! And you have to get it if you visit this place and like spicy stuff!!!! It was impressive in the actual spice level, and flavor. I had a bunch of people try it as well and they were really surprised. So that cocktail was my highlight. The party went well and anyone was happy.

And not in a super fermented way, but in a this was not made good way. I could hardly eat it. The bossam was pretty good, but missing the kimchi and other banchan just made it lack a little. The japchae was decent, but not my favorite. The spicy pork lacked the usual sweetness and also wasn't as red as I'm used to. Maybe it had less gochujang or no red dye 40??? What really got me, is our server brought our rice over in his pocket... to be fair, it came in a bowl with a lid. But that threw me off a little... LOL It was super empty on a Friday night. There was maybe one other party here. When it's the only Korean food in town, maybe it's pretty good....?
