The three women working were all polite. Power 96.5 was playing over the speakers. The general Tso's chicken was not the usual- the sauce was more sweet with an orange tint. Ordered carry-out for our family based on good reviews, and we were all so disappointed. The food was not good, all extremely bland or just drenched in sweet sauce to mask a lack of flavor. This is now our new favorite Chinese place in town. They have good dishes that taste great and have plenty of meat in them along with balanced amount of space. Sushi is also stuffed with good amounts of quality fish for the price. I'm not going to try to compare this to a fine dining, high end Chinese/Sushi establishment, but you really can't beat the value for size & taste when it comes to fast-casual Chinese/Sushi in this town. Me and my girlfriend got a flyer in the mail and so decided to treat ourselves for some Asian food and sushi. OMG!!! We got 2 sushi rolls, the classic volcano roll, which was 8 pieces for just under 10 bucks and it had a wonderful flavor, with a nice after burn. We also got a Godzilla Roll, something new to both of us. It had cream cheese, avacado, red snapper, smelt roe, and it was also DEEP FRIED!!! This roll was amazing, the best sushi I've ever personally had, and my girlfriend agreed. We were stuffed to the gills when we left and we still wanted to order and force ourselves to eat another one. It needs to be eaten while it's still hot, and it melts in your mouth. Even cooled some, it was good, but hot, it's unbelievable. You get 6 pieces covered in Eel sauce for less than 7 bucks, well worth it! Finally, we split a dinner. Just under 12 bucks got a huge family size portion of Shrimp and Scallops in garlic sauce. Snow pea pods, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, broccoli, green peppers, mushrooms in a sweet tangy garlic sauce served with a huge mound of rice...we wanted to lick the plate it was so good!!1 Definitely a 5 star review. I haven't been this happy with a new restaurant in years, and I've been pleasantly surprised on a number of occasions...this is my favorite sushi so far, and my second favorite restaurant in Springfield, next to Gem of India...I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys asian food but doesn't mind if it's not a buffet!!! read more

This place is so good it makes me want to go back and downgrade every other Chinese and Japanese food place I have already rated in Springfield by one star. Hands down the best Chinese food and sushi in Springfield. The sushi rolls are fresh and are way oversized for the price. They give you way more for your money than most places. The sushi menu is huge and they have lots of their own unique creations. I even love their cooked sushi rolls which I ordinarily don't care for. I particularly like the following options: Green Dragon Roll, Mountain Roll, Volcano Roll, Godzilla Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll and the Palatine Roll. I have also had their wonton soup, Singapore Mei fun, coconut chicken, and general Tso's chicken. Of those choices only the coconut chicken was good but not great. The others were fantastic. This restaurant opened this week and I was very excited to try it only to be very disappointed. I ordered the orange beef since it was the chef's special. The beef was fried in batter that was slimy on the inside and stuck together in a huge blob on the outside. The entire portion was one conglomerate piece of mush. There was only 4 pieces of broccoli that I could eat. I ordered from the menu pictured so I missed the "lunch specials" and was charged $12. I had to toss the entire meal.
