This business is a 9 minute drive from my house and took 2 HOURS to get here. Was in touch with the restaurant at the one hour mark just checking on our order and the lady said "he'll be there soon". No window of time was given but "soon" turned into 45 more minutes. When the driver finally got here it took me a second to get up after he knocked but he wiggled the door knob. Why?? Everything was cold when it arrived but decided to warm some up due to hunger and everything was bland, no flavor at all. Called the restaurant asking for a refund due to the quality of the food and the 2 hour wait. The owner apologized for the driver being pulled over for running a stop sign between deliveries and instead of a refund, he wanted to send the driver back and pick up the food and make us wait for another delivery. Awful service and awful food, will never order from here again. Couldn't save much of the food as leftovers, not worth eating again at all. Also what is this teriyaki stick? It's skinnier than a pencil and not seasoned. Only dish that was sort of seasoned was an order of chicken and broccoli which is typically in a sweet, light sauce. It had no sauce and was garlic chicken which isn't normal for a normal dish of Chinese chicken and broccoli right? Not what was expected. See photo below from their fortune cookie:

Don't let the sign fool you. It's not what it is... No HOT POT, zip, nada. They should seriously consider changing out the sign. Food is OK, but Panda Express is way better

Looking for food in VT at 8:30pm on a Friday night in April shouldn't be difficult. But alas,…read moretonight it was very difficult. Saw this little gem on Yelp and decided to give it a try. It was 9pm and we pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff were courteous and attentive and our waitress was very sweet. We didn't have to wait too long for our food and it was delicious. The sesame chicken was beautifully plated, complete with an edible orchid. The kung pao chicken and pepper steak came as you would expect so my husband and I teased the waitress about why we didn't get special plates with edible flowers. She was cute. The food was delicious and the portions just the right size. My husband asked for his king pao extra spicy and it definitely was not- but it's ok cause then we didn't mind sharing with him. I had the pepper steak and it was tender and flavorful. Everything was really good. If we lived nearby, we'd make it our go-to Panasian spot!

Hot and Sour soup had just the right amount of spicy. The staff were happy and helpful and the restaurant was clean and cozy. Five stars! Definitely be back for more sushi and I don't even live in Vermont.

An unexpected pleasure for lunch today. Stopped in for the first time while visiting from out of…read morestate. My guess is that the chef trained in NY. The first clue was the Cold Sesame Noodles appetizer that we tried. A generous portion and as close as I have had, to Chinatown taste. The hot and sour soup was served cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen to be heated, but once it was hot it was as good a soup as I have had. Egg rolls were crispy and crunchy and we all enjoyed them but the Duck Sauce was very watery. That could be improved. We had shrimp with lobster sauce which couldn't have been any better. Wonderful flavor and huge fresh shrimp. The boneless ribs were the star of the show. Big meaty chunks of pork rib piled high on the plate. Every table around us ordered them. Sweet and charred crispy, they are a must have! The fried rice was NY style with bits of pork and a hint of vegetables mixed in. I would have given Joy Wah 5 stars for the food but our waiter was just a little bit below par. We ordered several dishes to share but never were offered plates to share with. When we asked for to go boxes he bought us boxes too small for amounts of food on our plates. And he had his face in his phone the entire time we were there. If he paid more attention this would have been a 5 star review.

However, the Beef Lo Mein was disappointing--good noodles, but the beef was rubbery--and the Cashew Chicken was mostly veggies with barely any chicken or cashews. Fantastic service, but the main dishes could definitely use some improvement.
