I ordered the chow mein and pon pon chicken. Delivery was late but it's the weekend so I get it. I received a box of chopped up iceberg lettuce and beef. I called to see if maybe I received the wrong order but I got a busy signal. Tried again, busy signal. Drove down to the restaurant and they explained to me that their version of "Chow Mein" is done with lettuce, not noodles (it says on the website that I ordered from "Chow Mein - Crispy Noodles"). I asked for a refund or just a replacement but they told me that if I wanted something else they would have to charge me. I left the sautéed lettuce with them and ate the rest of the food which was okay. They do a good job with their white rice and the pon pon chicken wasn't bad. read more

Fantastic nearby Chinese joint! We always get our last minute Chinese take out fix from Asian cafe. We love the unique flavor of their Mongolian Beef, and General Tso's as well. Those are our go-to's to determine if we'll return to a Chinese restaurant. Their cream cheese wontons are delicious as well. I forgot to take pictures this time! There aren't many food options in Eagle Mountain.. but I'm glad that this place exists! The people that work here are very friendly and I love buying from local restaraunts. The food is really good. Like most Chinese food, it's better when you eat it fresh! The service is super fast! I got my meal within 5 minutes of ordering. I usually always get sesame chicken at Chinese food places and there's has a great flavor and a nice crunch to it. The wontons are cooked great as well! This place is a hidden treasure in Utah. The food was fresh and hot! If you didn't like this place it's because you're so used to eating Panda Express that when some more authentic food come along you know no better! I'm from California so yes, I'm picky with my food. I ordered to orange chicken lunch special with extra meat and also a order of their broccoli and beef. Man was this food good. It got knocked back in no time. Freshly made and on top of that, the sweet lady working the front would've made my post a 5 star rating alone. This is our favorite place for Chinese takeout. We love the portion size and the food is really good. We usually eat some for dinner and save the leftovers for lunch the next day. We like this place so much we even use it as a spot for when company is in town. They're always speedy with their orders and although I've only dined in once we liked that as well. read more

I love this place! We have eaten here about 3-4 times and I always try something new. I get the combination plate that comes with the rice, egg roll, wantons and choice of meat. I've tried the chicken lo mein, sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli and general tso chicken. I've also had post stickers and egg drop soup. But when I got home and opened up my takeout, it seemed I must have gotten the vegetarian version at first until I found one little piece of chicken.. Oh there's another little piece... So yummy! We ordered the family of 3 dinner and it was so much food. The sesame chickens was delicious and the orange chicken was crispy and super tasty. This was our first time coming here, and there was a sign up saying it's under new management. I can't comment on how it was previously, but our lunch was really great! We were the only ones there when we arrived, ordered at the counter, and sat down. Our soups came out a few minutes later, hot and fresh. When we were about halfway done with our soup, the rest of our food was brought to us. My husband got the Szechuan chicken, and he said it tasted a little different than the Szechuan chicken flavor at other restaurants, but he liked it and said it was quality ingredients and fresh. I tasted his chicken and really liked it - crunchy but not greasy, a little spice and good flavor. My fresh mushroom chicken was also hot, fresh, and made with quality ingredients. It had a good ratio of chicken, mushrooms, bell peppers, and carrots. I didn't get any of those weird bits of gristle like I'm used to my chicken having at Asian restaurants, and my food did not seem greasy or oily. I don't usually opt for Asian food (especially Chinese) for those reasons, but I really enjoyed the food here and plan on returning many times! read more

There are not many restaurants open on Sunday in this area, so I was surprised to learn Asian Cafe is. Their ad boasts it's the best Asian food and sadly it's far from it. The menu has your typical Chinese dishes served with fried rice and egg roll. The fried rice was dry and flavorless and the main dish was nothing special. Sketchy, So I went there at the beginning of opening. It appeared they were still sitting up the prep station in the cooking area. The containers were filthy. Dried sauces were all over the containers and very obviously hadn't been washed in a long time. Cashew Chicken lunch special with fried rice is what I ordered. It was very sweet. The rice was good until I chewed into a lump of sugar? I can only assume it was brown sugar in the rice. Not what I was expecting. The chicken tastes cheap and old. The best and only veggie was a lot of zucchini -- so I ended up skipping chicken pieces for veggies. I am wondering right now why I didn't turn around and go somewhere else. The process are decent but the food not so much. I ordered sweet and sour chicken and fried rice at dinnertime 6pm and ran over to pick it up a few minutes later. Got back home within 3 minutes of picking it up and the rice was dried out like it had been sitting under a warmer since lunch. This place is hit or miss. At times I'll go and it's 5 out of 10 and others it's 3 of 10 . The food tastes cheap. I almost feel like they put msg in the food. This has to be, hands down the best Asian food in Utah! We eat out several times a week so I have had Asian food from many, many restaurants. It's a family owned business and they were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure we had every single thing we needed. If you order $40 or more you get free pot stickers. Walking into Asian Cafe, they always make me feel like family and remember my name. I love supporting local business and especially family run and owned businesses. Hands down they have some of the best egg drop soup I've ever had (and I eat it about half the week, every week). They are always willing to make me a new batch at the end of the day when I come in. Who knew Eagle Mountain would have some of the best Chinese food around? They deliver, which has been used multiple times by my family on nights when we don't want to make the trek into Saratoga. They're pretty quick, have consistently good food, and are extremely affordable. read more

It was our first order here. We got dumplings, egg rolls, sweet and sour chicken and chicken lo mein. The dumplings are deep fried, which is different than steaming and then frying on one side, but the were tasty. The sweet and sour chicken was standard fare. The lo mein, however, was inedible. It actually tasted burned. Unclear what was burned in it, but it had a very strange burned taste. It also had almost no Chinese vegetables. Very disappointing based on reviews here. read more

This is such a good, easy place to order Chinese takeout! It's a bonus that they are within a 5 minute walk from home. The prices are just right and TONS of food that comes with.
