My friends pointed out the Squid salad to which I happily went back for seconds on. I also got their Mei Fun, Spinach stuffed in Phylo dough, green beans, and shrimp. It was good. We all were satisfied and full by the end of the night. Mom wasn't thrilled about the cookies as she was hoping for the almond variety but they only had the Palmier kind which she said was ok. Even though online it stated that they were open until 9pm, they were removing food from the bar and cleaning the floors before 8pm. Maybe because of the Super Bowl or because they weren't busy? Not sure. Before we left they asked us if we wanted any drinks to-go and they provided them. Thanks for feeding us after a long day.

Never ever considered stopping for food here because getting through the city on 74 is tough enough as time seems to stand still here because no one, and I mean no one is moving quickly here. As the current situation is Shelby is now the half way point from my our home to where my daughter and grandson moved 1 1/2 hours away. Tuesday night we made the trek to pick up the grand for a sleep over, meeting half way at The Creekside Clock for dinner. In the entry way there is a sign stating that food is made to order so please be patient. OK. We got plenty of patience. Walk up to the counter and place your order, HUH??? Can I take a look at a menu? Sure, put on your glasses and read from the menu board. Sorry! I wasn't prepared for that. Menu looks great. There is a lot of variety and daily specials. We placed 3 separate orders, probably the first mistake as we were all sitting together, just not paying together. I am not a fan of paying before you get your food. Tip? What am I tipping? We sit with our little numbers on sticks at our table and a waitress comes to review our tickets and bring our drinks. So far so good. Ok now we wait. I can see the kitchen window and there are 6 heads in view and they appear to be super busy prepping and getting out the food. Apparently that wasn't the case. First order arrives, baked potato and chicken sandwich looks yum! A side salad was also delivered. A good bit later my meatloaf and fiancé's combination seafood plate and the grands shrimp. All looks good, alas, there is nothing on my plate that is even warm. I Asked if they had a microwave they could reheat my plate, it was that cold. Found out also that the chick sandwich and potato that was delivered first was not warm either. Still waiting on a steak and steak tips at this point everyone else was pretty much done with their food. The steak was good, again the potato cold. I am really shocked by all of the good Google reviews for this place. Although the menu looks nice. For them to boast that food is made to order, and not even serve the food warm along with the horrible execution, this was a one and done for us!

Paid around 16 for my food and I will say that it was the worse Chinese food I have ever eaten. I don't normally use the W word but wow. The rice had hard pieces in it. Assuming undercooked rice. Very bland. I ordered steamed rice as you can't go wrong with that. They got my order wrong and gave me fried rice. The beef and the shrimp were ok. That's just it. The broccoli was crunchy which was good. I ordered an egg roll and it was different. But a good different. I won't be going back at all. The place was crowded. The servers are always kind and courteous. They will ask you if you have a special pizza request, because they will make it for you. We have always found the food bar to be well stocked and clean. This trip all the napkin dispenses were empty but as soon as I told the manager some were immediately brought to our table. Something new this trip was the addition of boxes of plastic serving gloves people could use to handle the serving utensils. All the pizza we ate was hot and delicious. Was it NY style or thick crust...no. But it was a very good version of what we have come to know and love about Pizza Inn pizza.
