The staff at Asia Spice are lovely and know how to make a mean Singapore noodles. I stopped by for some take away and ordered the Singapore Noodles ($10.90) and Black Bean Beef Noodle ($10.90), which both came packed in bowl-shaped takeaway containers, which I appreciated because it meant they would be less likely to overflow and spill while driving.
Because both dishes are traditionally oily meals, I was pleased to find a batch of perfectly cooked vegetables under the singapore noodles. But I found the black bean sauce used in the beef dish to be too salty. That said, Asia Spice delivers some of the tastiest and freshest Chinese take out I've had in a while, and the night we went it was incredibly busy.
I suspect a lot of the families there were buying the dinner packs: PACK A (for one) is $12.90 and includes two entrees and a main; PACK B (for two to three) is $32 and includes three entrees and two mains. Both include steamed rice.
There is also the option of dining in, and there are a few nice, clean tables set outside the restaurant for diners. read more
