For example, I was on my back and she kept rubbing my one thigh from my knee to my goin over and over and over and over again, so I finally had to tell her to move on to another part of my body where she again did one stoke incessantly as if she knew no other strokes or techniques. Any sentient being would have had the wherewithall to do a better massage than her. Unbelievable! Also, Michelle Z. lied about the following: 1. I was not loud. I spoke in hushed tones when complaining as I saw no need to create a scene. I pay tips when warranted. I tipped on my 1st visit. 2. I was never told that a 1/2 hr. massage was for back only Were that the case, the therapist would not have told me to lie on my back and then start massaging my thigh. I told them I wanted my chest, back, arms, hands, legs and feet done and to skip the rest. I wore briefs. 3. I never said I want only my legs done. 4. Michelle vilely insinuates I tried to start something sexual. FALSE. I am gay. That insinuation--in writing--is libelous. I went for therapeutic reasons, because I have Chronic Venous Insufficiently of my legs/arms, diagnosed by a Neurologist. 5. I do suspect her license was forged, based on her lack of skill and relative to the other massages I had at Massage Envy, BurkeWilliams, etc. I'm not the only customer who found a 'therapist' to lack skill. 6. Michelle's reply did not confirm the person had training, only that she had 'experience'. Experience is not Education. Law requires 500 hours of education at a certified school. 7. Tips are for good or superior service provided, not bad service. Tips are at the customer's prerogative. 8. I invite Michelle to provide me the Certificate Number and name of the person so I can verify license. Should it be verified I will revise my Yelp review. A&M violated Yelp Policy. A business may not threaten a customer because the customer writes a negative review. In addition--and what I forgot to write in my review-- is that the room was freezing, my feet turned icy and I got a headache. After my massage I felt weird about it so I decided to look behind the mirror and it was a window with a bunch of stickers on it. I was still half undressed and someone opened the room door as I was looking behind the mirror. The door was opened 2 times while I was changing. Staff should not be coming into a room that a customer is changing in! Behind this mirror/window is the masseuse break room... I feel uncomfortable about this. I really do not know if they can see in the room or they just covered up this window gap and there is no ill intention. But the fact I don't know makes me feel strange. Once I walked to the front desk, a few people from the break room came out and -they didn't go into the room the other person from my party was in- they kept going into the room I was in and then turning to look at me. It could be coincidence but it left me feeling weird. Was I not supposed to look behind that?? If you are having customers undress it is really really weird to have a mirror/window leading to the break room... Once he overstepped his boundaries I moved my body in such a position where he got the hint. I was in shock and kept telling myself that this wasn't happening. Then the manager came out and barked, "Tip is $20 per person. This is not a restaurant." I said, "The tip is either $25 or nothing. You choose. And by the way, we're never coming back." The manager told the attendant to charge the card for $25. The bottom line is that there's no point to a good massage if the place is going to try to gouge you on the price and stress you out on your way out the door. My one star is generous.

It's a corner location, and there is plenty of free parking in a public parking lot right across the street and on the street as well. Walking up to and into the space has the feel of a boutique, with nice furniture, low lighting and a pleasant potpourri scent. Nothing like the security-entrance style of some local massage locations. It feels very inviting and classy. They have two foot-massage stations behind a decorative divider and three private rooms with thickly curtained entrances. Relaxing music plays from the front desk to fill the cozy space. I haven't tried the foot massage yet--which is really a full-body massage but clothed in a semi-public area on a big, cushioned reclined chair--but the private full-body massage is great. The owner and staff are very friendly, and my masseuse, Joanna, did some amazing work with her feet on my back and shoulders. I like hard pressure where I have a lot of knots in my upper back/shoulders and she really did a great job working on that area both with hands and feet. They give you a small bottled water after the massage. On a couple of occasions the owner also had some fancy cookies/sweets for customers. I don't eat sweets like that, but it's just another nice touch of class. On a later occasion she had clementine oranges, which I did accept one.
