I eat here regularly due to the close proximity to my workplace but I have also ordered large platters of food for parties at home and everyone raved about the food. This deli also stocks Palestinian foods, oils and other speciality goods that are near impossible to find elsewhere in Ireland. I have not yet tried the cookery school part but it is definitely on my to do list for 2015.

Anyway, we went and it was the best school trip I have ever been on! You watch about how chocolate is made, and they show you all the big machines, then you get to cut and decorate your own and wrap it up and everything! Then there was a big shop and you got to buy even more sweets! It was so fun, I think that all little children should be treated at some stage to a day to the Chocolate Warehouse! They have special Easter and Christmas workshops too, which I plan to go to next! :)

Anyway Cosgraves and their offers, and I suppose my inner wish for thrift, made me cross that difficult line. Then I got 4 striploin steaks for a tenner and I was never going back! This butcher usually offers deals which are brilliant for families or those with big freezers, and they're not stingey with their cuts either. I did expect to get 4 tiny steaks for that price but they were a good size. I was impressed. As well as a great range of meats they also have some prepacked packets where things are in marinade ... and these come with instructions! Hooray! Lately Cosgraves have some amazing offers. 1 euro each for chicken fillets, pork chops and other unbelievably cheap offers. Cheaper than a German supermarket any day!

This is the perfect place to get a massive bag of spuds! Thats if you want a massive bag of spuds…read moreof course and well most irish family would have a bag of potatos that they pick from over a little while till they are all gone! Why is it perfect? well a big bag of potatos is really heavy and there are no trolleys in most independent fruit and veg shops but this one is perfect because its right beside a door and you can always get some fine young strong lad to carry them to your car for you (with an alterior motive or not!) :-) of course this shop does other fruits and vegetables and the like, all nice and fresh and all from an independent grocer that gives you an impression that the stock in here is fresh and therefore healthier for you!
