The purpose of this review is to inform folks as to the manner in which the "shortfall " was handled. In no way is this a complaint, on the contrary. I spoke to a young lady, who more than addressed the situation by providing a credit which I could go for. I could not go then so I went this week. On a day the lady I mentioned was working. I can only say, i was treated with excellent accord and Haas went above and beyond to rectify, what was a small oversight. I know where my fish and chip shop is from now on. Thanks so much. We already had lunch but the fish here looked so nice and crispy, so we ordered some to take out and enjoy at the harbour. It was as good as it looked. Crispy, hot and fresh. Tender inside. Real good Fish. We also ordered some fried shrimp on the side which were equally good. A nice little place in a lovely village. Be sure to give it a try when in the area.

Now, prior to this experience, I thought skink was just a lizard. But I said what the heck, let's do it. And I'm so glad we did. It was actually a fish soup, no lizards involved. And it was very, very good. I literally finished the bowl myself. My wife and I shared it, but I left none in the bowl. It was that good. We very much enjoyed our conversation with the owner and I loved the interior of the restaurant. It has a very cute interior and it was a very clean restaurant. The the walls were covered with photos and history of the area, local fisherman and women who were involved in the fishing trade. It was very informative and just an absolutely wonderful lunch for us. To be honest, we chose this location due to the fact it was very close to where we happened to be, plus the name, Fraserburgh reminded us of the Fraser characters in the Outlander television series. Findlay's Fish Bar & Diner was an excellent experience for us from start to finish. And I would highly recommend it to anyone who happened to be in the area and looking for an excellent meal.
