Appointment was a week out .The day of my appointment No Show call or email .The response was blame it on Best Buy for over booking . I have a Aig extending warranty for the washer . If trash was a company it'll be this one. Had an appointment set days in advance and they were a NO-SHOW. I even took a day off of work to be home within the 8am-5pm time set they had initially set for me. Anyways when I called the day of my appointment to get an estimated time of arrival, the woman who's probably a receptionist said they didn't have anything set with me? She placed me on several brief holds. Seems to me that they don't have the proper staff to keep this place alive and most definitely don't have the customer service. We requested a diagnosis and repair of our washer. We were told initial visit (which required 2 people) would cost $140. They came diagnosed an issue with a part (without ever unstacking and opening the washer itself. After speaking to Amy, she advised me that there would be an additional fee of ~$300 for labor and another $75 for a new part. One week later the same 2 guys (1 of which who was the owner) came to our house with the "ordered part". They worked on the washer for 15 mins and then attempted to leave. My husband stopped to ask them where the broken part was. The owner went back to the car to bring over the new part which was never used. They weren't planning to tell us they misdiagnosed the issue and that they were still going to Charge us for a part they never used! I reached out pissed. Owner wrote me an email saying they'd refund the $75 however what about the $140 + $300 towards initial misdiagnosis and labor which translated into unstacking and stacking the washer ONCE and connecting a loose tube. I'd be wary. Brought in scanner for repair. Hardware needing replacing -- which was odd, as parts like that don't die or wear out without good reason, especially for a machine that's not used often. Brought it home. Waited a few days before using and it was dead. No power. Not sure how it could have dies since picking up. They diagnosed a burnt main board, which they said might have been caused by my ac adapter (power pack) giving out low voltage and therefore shorted the board. They also said the transport lock(s) were on when using. Utter rubbish. Power wouldn't be affected. And if you try scanning with a lock on, it simply makes a grinding noise. The compatible adapter is a year old, worked just fine. I don't believe for a moment it degraded and caused damage. It's been a year of no issues. And if the board was fried, how could they not see it first time around? Nothing could have changed since the scanner was picked up and an attempt at turning it on. It sad idle. Regardless, the scanner does work now. I still have no idea what happened. Both diagnoses were odd. The technician wasn't around to discuss it. The scanner came back with a scratch (not the first blemish I noticed). The lady at the front has zero customer service skills. read more

I brought it in, they called later that week with a diagnosis and estimate. I approved the work, they ordered the parts, had them in a week and installed in three more days. Update 10/8 - Do not trust this company, they will rob you every chance they get. David, the manager of this business is as dishonest and disreputable as those in his employ. He doesn't respond to anyone until a review is written and lies about the quality of service performed. His reps lie and state there is no manager there and give no details about what is found, with abhorrent unprofessionalism and disrespect that is noted by many other reviewers. As my wife detailed and explained when the unit was brought in and is described in review, the lamp was working the day it was brought in with 2000 hrs left in it. Now after changing out the bulb that was working the day it was brought in and now broken with different error lights and a broken bulb. In answer to his response since he only answers customers on yelp, I want you to take responsibility when you damage something and make things right. I take no issue with replacing a cinema filter mechanism when it is clearly the problem. I do take issue with having a completely different problem than when I brought it in. Not a single email was sent out nor any details what happened with unit after your diagnosis. I have it in writing from epson corporate supervisor that I had to reach out to get any details from you crooks. You detailed to her as testing it for 5 days and then found the bulb was damaged. Do you expect anyone to believe that it took 5 days to find it had a broken bulb. Why would it even be brought in if it is a broken bulb, which I have changed multiple times before. I have given you every opportunity for you to correct this and you or your reps refuse to reach out to me. You must think everyone is saps. read more

Do not deal with these people. They're unprofessional, presumptuous, and downright rude. I have an extended warranty on a television that was assigned to them through Assurion. Today, Friday at 11:30 AM, they called to assign service tomorrow between 1 - 5 PM. When I asked about Monday, they told me that 'We're only doing the schedule for Saturday'. I asked about the time that they work on Monday, and was told 9-5. I mentioned that the timing was inconvenient (just as an aside, hoping I'd get more options), and the rude lady blurted out 'Well, my technician can't work around the clock now, can he?' A professional organization plans more than a day out, is at least slightly empathetic to their customers' schedules, and doesn't treat their clients like trash. It seems from the other reviews that this is the company's modus operandi. I called the provider and asked for a different repair center. They happily obliged, and I suggest you do the same. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague as I wish I did before I went through the aggravation and frustration of dealing with them and their unprofessionalism and dishonesty! This is my story.....I took in my epson stylus 1400 printer of fifteen years due to two issues. One, the paper feed would send out blank pages and two, the black and yellow ink cartridges were not working even after running it through print head cleaning cycle three times. They charged me $120 when I dropped it off for a diagnosis check. A couple of days later I get a call that I need to replace the print head and paper feed unit which I gave them the green light to proceed at a fee of $280.00 and also provide them with a new complete set of six color ink cartridges. A week and a half later I get a call that the printer is fixed and performing perfectly as they ran a number of test prints. I picked up the printer paid them returned home plugged it in and guess what?! As I ran a test print the paper ran through the printer without printing as it was doing when I brought it in to repair but now there was a new problem as the printer was making an awful loud grinding noise which had never done before in fifteen years! I immediately called Ashton Electronics and ran the printer while they were on the phone so they can hear it for themselves. Their reaction was priceless! "It wasn't doing any of those things here when we ran our tests". Of course not I'm making it up! So I took it back in again and returned two days later as they ran a grey tone test print as I was standing there which seemed like it was finally working properly however I made the mistake of not having them run a color print! I returned home happy that I finally have my printer working and decided to run a color copy. Well back to square one as the prints were coming out erratically. Frustrated I ran a nozzle check and discovered the black and yellow inks were not printing at a hundred percent so I ran it through the print head cleaning cycle and it was fixed. Fuming and fed up I called Ashton Electrons and explained the issue as we got into a screaming match as they tried to cover their a_ _! If they did install a new print head and six brand new epson ink cartridges which I provided why then would I have to run my own nozzle check and print head cleaning after spending a total of $400.00! Why would a new print head need cleaning anyway! Why didn't the worthless mysterious technician who was never there the four times I visited the store check everything before releasing the printer! I can't express enough how disappointed I am not to mention the feeling that I have been totally scammed! By the way the most important thing more than servicing my printer to them was for me to give them a yelp review which was mentioned a number of times as I left the store. Sony got me in touch with Ashton Electronics when the volume on my TV went out. I booked an appointment with Ashton Electronics within a week of entering my ticket with Sony. Ashton had to receive the necessary part first - I could tell because I received email updates from Sony - and then we scheduled an appointment time. I was given a 4 hour window for them to arrive for the appointment. Although I would've appreciated a phone call with a confirmation of when they'd arrive (I called when 30 minutes remained, as I hadn't heard from anyone that day and I was nervous I'd been forgotten), they did arrive within the later part of the window. The technician was friendly, quick, and helpful. My TV functions good as new now! I did have to move the TV from off its mount before they arrived, and they had to take the mount off of the back of the TV. I'm not sure if they placed it entirely correctly, though, when they put it back on, because when I tried to hang my TV afterwards, it was crooked- but that could be an error on my part. These guys were amazing! With so many electronical things that people own, different dates, models, etc. I'm surprised any company can fix as many as do. They came out and fixed our Sony television, last night, and it was up and working in less than an hour. We'd been without a t.v. for a week and we also had another company look at the same television a few months ago (they said they'd have to order a part and weren't sure what was wrong or if they could fix it). So, when Ashton Electronics was able to repair and make it work again, we were so happy (it's also extending the life of an electronic item, in our disposable or throw away culture, I'm big on a Zero Waste lifestyle and making products last, it was a Sony warranty repair). They were easy to deal with, communicated well, were polite and professional! We like these guys so much, we'll be calling them again to repair our other 3D t.v., at a later date! My brand new Miele Range needed a simple repair. The person who showed up did not have the correct tools or even a manual or any type of information on how to remove or fix any thing on my range. I had to get my own tools out to allow him to remove some of the hardware. It has been some time and parts are back ordered. The people at this place will be disrespectful and not treat you as a paying customer should. Still no word from this company and no parts shipped. When I contacted Ashton Electronics, I was desperate--my washing machine was leaking water and I had loads of laundry to do. They were able to come out the next day (I had called in the later afternoon) to repair the problem. As unusual parts were required, Ashton Electronics ordered them and then called me promptly when the parts arrived. Three nice men appeared the next day and removed my stacked washer and dryer from a very tight space where they had been installed in the tiny space provided in my condo. They proceeded to clean up the watery mess under and behind the washer and then fixed all the broken parts. After they insured that the washer was functioning "like new," they carefully put the washer/dryer stack back in place. They left as they entered--with polite smiles and cheerful good byes. Not sure how this place is still in business. I heard a noise from my fridge and called geek squad. They gave me a window on the phone for Friday afternoon. When I got the confirmation email, that window has turned into 8am~5pm so basically all day. I was fine with that too. Then came another email asking me to contact the venter (Ashton) so I did. Turns out they can't come on Friday at all. They'll come on Saturday. When I ask for a window on Saturday, they won't give me any because "it's too far ahead", and this was on Wednesday! The front desk lady has such a bad attitude that it's impossible to communicate. I ended up canceling and hiring someone else myself. I can't speak about any of Ashton's technicians, they might be alright, but they should seriously consider getting a new receptionist. read more

I called Lowe's to schedule a service repair on my Hisense refrigerator (a company I'll never buy another product from) because my ice maker broke. The technician came and looked at the broken ice maker and ordered the part. Weeks later he came in with the part and installed it (incorrectly). Later that evening I found my ice maker to be dangling by the water hose from the top of my freezer. I called Ashton and they came out 1-2 days later. They apologized for the now broken ice maker (because of the incorrect installation) and said they'd order a new part and try to expedite it. 3 weeks go by and I hear nothing so I call. The person on the phone put me on hold to try to figure out what was going on with my claim and asked if he could call me back once he figured it out. Another week goes by and I call and finally receive the explanation that because the original ticket was closed they couldn't order another part and there is a number I need to call. They could have told me this the same week when all of this originally took place, but a month later here I am. Thankfully Lowe's warranty helped me out but I filed a complaint against Ashton. If you ever have a warranty claim and Lowe's or Home Depot or whoever says that Ashton will be your service provider, do not agree to it and ask for a different company. Things like the incorrect install happens and is what it is, but the negligence to push my claim to the side is what is really frustrating. read more

The staff was a disaster, never communicating, constantly blaming how busy she was with the phones. The tech became combative, rude, and loud with me, after normal business interface. It took them 3 weeks to fix my monitor, and god forbid I ask for a status check. They charged me half the cost of a new version of the same model retail. I would not recommend them to my worst enemy. Horrible service. They sent non-English speaking man and woman to repair. When they left, the unit made such a loud noise that we could not sleep. Front desk person argued with me that it was fine. After insisting they come back out front desk person scheduled an appointment who was a 'no show.' Finally called a few days later and she said, "I thought it was fixed." She promised to schedule and call me back in 15 minutes and she never did. A few days later I complained to home warranty company Assurant who set up the appointment with Ashton. This company deserves zero stars. They are unprofessional and rude. They were assigned to do extended warranty work on my LG Dishwasher. The tech never showed or bothered to contact me during the service window to give me a status update. After the window expired, I emailed and called them to fire them from the job after contacting the Home Depot Warranty Program who informed me that a tech had never been assigned to the job. 10 minutes after I fired them via email and voicemail, my Ring doorbell alerts me that someone was at my door while I was driving. After pretty much begging them to come for an estimate which they charge for, during the time we scheduled, they showed up an hour and a half earlier and were upset I wasn't home. They charged me for the repair before even completing it. They outsource the repair to people you can find on your own, they don't provide their own repair people so I see no reason to use this company for anything. They also charged me for a part which they did not replace on the appliance. Anyways my appliance still makes noises and doesn't function properly. They don't care about that as long as they got their money. I would avoid this company at all costs., feels like I got scammed. WHERE IS THE 0-STAR RATING WHEN YOU NEED IT!? If amoral behavior, broken promises, thievery, and fraud are what you seek...this company fits the bill! I have a "self-diagnosing" TV, yet they sent an "expert" to my home to count the number of flashes and for 10 minutes their employee counted and recounted the flashes and they charged me $120. After promising a repair in 3-5 days, never calling, I finally at day 11 I found someone else to repair my TV (this is how I found out the TV can be diagnosed over the phone)! After the TV was repaired by another company, the extremely rude wife (?) finally called back and said they'd be out to my house in 30 minutes on a work day (no appointment was EVER SET!!). I was at my warehouse and since the TV was already repaired, I obviously declined! They then had the audacity to use my credit card WITHOUT PERMISSION to charge me an additional $115 for "cancelling at the last minute and restocking of the part!!" This is fraud and I am still being forced to write/call my card company since this initial April contact to get this charge nullified! If you are reading this whatever you do...DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING! To repeat: 1) they are amoral (no one ever needed to come to my house) 2) they lie to get the job (they would have taken 11 days to repair the TV, not the promised 3-5 days as per my contract) 3) I got NOTHING for the $115 (I will have this removed completely or I will take them to court...sometimes it is the principle in life we fight for!) 4) they committed fraud (they charged my card without my permission, signature, or providing any service!)
