We are very disappointed with their service. We are having a service repair on a La-Z-Boy sofa. An appointment was made with the service manager for a Thursday afternoon. No one ever showed up, then after we called, they said they would be by at 9 am the next day. No one showed until 4:00 that afternoon. They didn't have the part needed with them and said they would return the next morning. Didn't happen. When I contacted the store I was told that the service people were off for the next two days. We are frustrated. Would just like to get the sofa fixed. So far we have waited around 3 full days for someone to show up, and now have to go another 3 days of not knowing if they are coming or not. read more

I was looking for a good mattress and to refurnish my new home, Since I have bought furniture from Ashley before in my previous home in Murrieta ca. and was happy with them, I thought I would give them another try in Yuma. Bad Decision on my part. When I got there only one sales person, his name was Edgar. He was very preoccupied but helped me. I wanted a firm mattress but most of what they had was not. Then about 5 people walked in and he left me and was helping them. So I continued to look and finally found what I wanted. I got his attention but he was so involve with other customers, I waited, told him which mattress I wanted, In short he didn't order the one I wanted. two weeks they delivered I discovered later that day it was the wrong mattress. I went to the store on that next Monday and Edgar really didn't want to hear anything. So finally I gave up and went home. There's way more to this but I really don't think they care. It's all about the sale and nothing else. I lost 1500 dollars for a mattress that is worse than the one I got rid of. I live in a community of 1200 homes, I'm going to do my best to make sure most if not all her my experience with this store. The mattress is getting donated to the shelter. It is junk. Shopping here for many years and pretty much satisfied but they lost part of a sale today because they don't keep inventory of their Area Rugs with prices. After a long search through the store one rug at a time getting the stock number then having it looked up on the computer and go looking for another I just bought a couch and left. "Snoopy's doghouse." ...as in the place looks WAAAYY bigger inside than it does on the outside. We were impressed with the friendly staff and the options for furniture, from expensive to affordable mid-range. My mother-in-law (80yrs old) went into the Ashley Store in Yuma, AZ to get a couch. When she came in to pick it up, the couch was on the floor with people sitting on it and it had stains. She advised she no longer wanted the couch and she was told "it's to late you told us you wanted it". They charged her credit card even though she never took possession. They refuse to credit her card back and I'm sure they sold the couch to someone else. She had to pay over $1500 and did not take possession. What kind of store is this???? My experience with this furniture store was spot on. The staff was helpful in guiding me through the selection of bunk beds and my Andora coil futon. The quality of the furniture is far better than expected, and the prices were reasonable. The delivery was prompt and hassle-free. We purchased a sofa at Ashley's and we absolutely loved the sofa. After less than a week the sofa started to fall on the arm area, the cushion started to come apart at the seams, and the cushion seemed like it was overstuffed from the factory. We ended up giving this sectional that we purchased away because of the poor quality and started looking at other pieces. The furniture looks nice but the quality is lacking. We decided to replace the sectional and we found an "Ashley" piece online. We ordered the sectional and we are happy with it so far. We recently decided to add a piece to this second purchase to have more seating for guests. We found the piece online for prices ranging from 199 to 270. The same piece is available at the local store for 389. I don't understand how the "Ashley" store has a higher price than other furniture stores? read more

Do NOT shop here!! I bought a couch here less than a year ago and it has already broke. Initially I wasn't too worried because I had purchased their warranty due to issues with past furniture. So I reach out to use my warranty and after a bunch of back and forth I'm told that "they no longer have the parts needed to fix my couch" ( even though all they have to do is fix the framework, which requires what? Hammers, nails, and labor?!???) so rather than honoring their warranty they are saying I either have to just deal with it or they'll prorate my warranty. What's the purpose of a warranty if you aren't willing to honor it? If you aren't going to honor it ( which is unacceptable and has resulted in me refusing to ever shop Ashley again) than at least give me a full refund for my warranty and stop pressuring customers to buy your worthless warranty! read more

I will NEVER shop at Ashley's Home Furniture in Yuma again! We have purchased furniture here in the past and have had positive experiences. Today we stopped in to inquire about purchasing a sectional here to be delivered to a home in another state. The male sales clerk stated that they do not do that as they are independently owned and not a franchise. We were also having trouble finding an item number on line for a particular sectional. He simply stated, "It's on line". This gentleman literally walked away once he learned that we wanted the sectional for another state. Not even a: "Is there something else I can help you with?" Very abrupt and rude. If there is anything here that I might want to purchase for our Yuma home, it will now not happen and I will shop elsewhere. My mother went to Buy a new dining table set and they delivered the one on showcase on the floor. Not only was it dirty on parts but the sales rep never informed her of this and even lied to her face as they allegedly said, "She was told it would be the set on showcase". They have replaced the dining table, but they still tried to deliver the showcase chair/bench. She was told they will be reaching out and we are uncertain of wether the chairs/bench will be replaced. We have been purchasing furniture their since we moved down to yuma in 2014, and we've even brought family members their before as we thought they offered good trustworthy business for everyone. Went in Houston's Yuma Furniture today the gentleman was friendly so I asked him regarding a commercial I had seen on TV and he no idea what I was talking about so he said he would call his boss on the phone so they were talking and he was speaking spanish and I could hear him. I heard him tell the saleman that the sale was for 299.99 ea then he said and if they don't like it send them on their way to another funiture store and get them the f*** out. The master room set was sold to me and charged as a California King.One will never doubt a seller in such a petty detail. Today I am buying from someone else something else for my California King bed sold by Ashley furniture 10 years ago. We ordered all the accessories for a "Cal-King". When was being delivered to us, the new seller clarifies to me as is looking at my bed that what I have was NOT Cal-king but at normal King Bed. The issue here is NOT the furniture as I have been OK for 10 years with my bed, the issue is the PETTY lie and the deception. Deceiving a customer is bad practice because the customer come here to these websites after 10 years and let know every potential future customer that Ashley Furniture business practices are shady and they will deceive you and lie to you and abuse your ignorance . I will clarify that not all humans have the knowledge of every little thing they will acquire in their lives. If you go to a Doctor and that doctor says you have an ear infection, you will believe it. We rely on the honesty of others. I also bought a dinning set from them. Few months later I see they are giving 50% off in all their furniture. I got happy as I felt that with a 50% off I could buy 2 more chairs for the dinning set I had bought from them. What a surprise to see that they had increased the prices in all by 50%, and then placed a sign of 50% off. The chairs at 50% off cost same as when I bought them 3 months before.... I ordered a regular priced pub table with leaf and chairs. When it was delivered, one chair back had a dimple in the wood, there were scratches on the tabletop, another chair had a piece that flaked off like a fake fingernail, and even the delivery men could not open/ close the leaf. At this point, although they have replaced the pieces, I would not deal with them again. Too much hassle. Where is the quality control, people? We ordered several pieces of furniture from this store to include a bedroom set (bed, extra nightstand and dresser with full mirror), kitchen table with 4 chairs and a living room sofa. Our bedroom set and dining room table were delivered on time, but our sofa was back ordered. Not only was the sofa 3 weeks overdue, but then the day it was supposed to be delivered "in the morning" and we are still waiting for it. When I decided it was time to buy new furniture, I was skeptical. With so many different options out there, I was compelled to visit each store, and do my share of online research. While I do take preventative measures, there's always the chance that the furniture you see in the showroom feels different at home. This wasn't a problem with Ashley Furniture. I received an excellent quality leather reclining sofa and love-seat. What I loved about them: *Quality construction. I'm 6'2 220 pounds, and I like to feel like I can come home from work and relax without worrying about damaging my furniture. These truly are quality. The leather feels so thick it could've come from an elephant! *The fit. The fit, even on a large guy like myself, is exceptional. It could even fit smaller person with no problem. *No noise. That was the biggest issue I had -- would the recliner make a loud noise (electric recliner) when activated. No issues here either. Both the sofa and loveseat perform exceptionally in this area. *It works. This was the biggest thing. The sofa and loveseat could be the quietest, most comfortable seating out there, but if it doesn't work, it's not worth it. Both pieces work perfectly, and the peace of mind I'm getting from their "Protection Plan" is a nice benefit. There is not a single thing to dislike about this product, or the company you purchase it from. Delivery was as promised, and a very nice staff I might add. After looking through Furniture Row, and Rent a Center(even with their coupon) this is less expensive than most of the furniture stores out there and it's MUCH better quality. This isn't just a case of getting what you pay for, it's a case of getting way MORE than you pay for. If you're looking for a quality furniture, look no further than Ashley Furniture! read more
