With this store (I'm assuming) the only one in Yuma I expect and did find was I was looking for and more. Great finds and decent prices; the owner was present and he did me a solid by working with me so I could have the most 'bang for my bucks.' Not a gun guy but yes, they had a good collection of them as well. Worth the trouble of shifting thru things to find whatever you're looking for. With a knowledgeable staff to boot...literally. "I shall return" for more bargains for sure!

We called the plumber that installed our reverse osmosis system. He never called back and I would not recommend him to my ex wife. Anyway I finally called Roto-Rooter they said they be out in the morning. This was after 6:00 pm that the water line broke. Roto-Rooter was here around 6:00 Am even though they said they would not be here until after 8:00 AM. I will recommend Roto Rooter plumbing service in a heartbeat!

i rarely do this but after being in business myself for 36 years and knowing how to treat and accommodate a customers needs i tend to expect the same. so i purchased 2 25 rnd magazines for my smith and wesson mp 15-22 back in march of this year. the gun only came with 1 and i was having trouble finding extras. some one told me i might have some luck at firearms unknown. they were right, they had plenty and i purchased 2. i was only in town for a few weeks at the time so by the time i had a problem with them i couln't go back until i would be in the area again. so this past saturday was my first chance to get back there. the problem was that the spring load would get stuck about half way up the magazine and wouldn't feed the ammo to the gun. this happened with both magazine which told me that there was probably a manufacture glitch and before the problem was dicovered some had been shipped and sold. not a big deal it happens, i was in the automotive business for my whole life and saw this a lot. anyway the gentlemen i spoke to behind the counter checked them out and didn't argue that there was a problem but didn't want to exchange them because i didn't have the original packaging. who keeps that? i explained to him that he could simply keep the packaging that the new ones came in (smith and wesson packaging) no problem. at that point he pointed out on my receipt that it was longer then 14 days since the purchase ( they're return poliocy, and yes i had my reciept, and therfore he couldn take them back. i explained that since i purchased them i had not been in yuma until now. that didn't matter it was company policy!!! so i asked for a phone number to smith and wesson meaning an area rep and he gave me an 800 number to the company. so just to describe this unhelpful employee. he was packing a side arm, wearing a cowboy hat and had a beard down to his chest. i didn't catch his name. as i turned to leave he said he wished he could have done more for me. i replied that he could have and left the store. i will never return and will tell everyone i know who owns a gun never to shop there ever. i'll see how it goes with the 800 number. jerry d. read more

Got back to yuma from deployment a few days ago, wanted to get a new toy so I went to Sprague's, big mistake. The workers there are unhelpful unless you mention you want to buy something. Also incredibly rude, and will talk to you while they are on their phone. I went over to Firearms Unknown and couldn't have asked for better help. Got help from Brian over there and not only did he greet me at the door but helped me for about 45 minutes looking at different rifles pistols and scopes. Workers there are also very honest, aren't going to lie to you about a firearm or accessory to sell it. Once I was done browsing I decided to make a purchase where I was also helped by Chris another awesome employee. Went back just yesterday to get some other stuff and didn't grab their names but were just as helpful. Have been to spragues many a time and never once experienced this kind of service so, my advice is go to Firearms unknown, not Sprague's. Come to find out spragues employees make commission, explains the rude attitudes. Even spoke to my grandfather who used to come down to spragues when he was passing through, said he shared my experiences and won't go back. Spragues may have been there a long time but not gonna be there much longer if they keep up those attitudes. Big props to firearms unknown and their staff, doing it right. read more

Firearms unknown opened up 15 days ago here in Yuma. I went in today on Saturday looked around great items for sale ammo AR 15s, uppers, lowers, accessories. I dealt with Victor one of the managers there. He was very helpful, courteous, professional& down to earth. I felt very comfortable walking around for someone like myself who is still new to the gun world. Victor told me about the rewards program which I signed up for. It's great to have another firearm store here in Yuma to service our Second Amendment needs I highly recommend them. read more

Went in to check out stock, not planning to buy anything. Gun selection is pretty decent, ammo is sort of lack luster (not really on them due to how recently they started and the state of the market now) but for someone looking for variety of parts, they can't be beat. It's obvious they see the market in building, instead of buying off the shelf, and this makes Firearms Unknown almost a 1stop shop for your building needs read more

Two weeks ago I was traveling and had a flat halfway between Blythe and Phoenix. After waiting 4.5…read morehours to get a tow to Quartzite, a night in a hotel, and an 80 mile tow to the dealer the next day (NOT related) my patience was understandably a bit thin. Finally unloaded my bike around 10-11am Saturday morning for a rear tire change. I called in advance, they confirmed they had a tire, and would have everything ready when I arrived. They did tell me that it's 'first come first serve' on Saturday. Ugh...typically a sign of pending doom. When we got there 3-4 guys came right out to help unload the bike and as promised all the paperwork was waiting. The downside was the 'first come first serve' especially when you're on the road. It seems that dealers have different takes on how to handle in-transit travelers. I understand why they do it, but given others will give you priority it is still frustrating that I had to wait 4.5 hours for a tire change to get back on the road. Everyone from the tech writers to the mechanic and even the sales staff were excellent in answering questions and making sure we were comfortable while waiting, and frankly can't speak highly enough about the personnel. I've been to the dealer in the past for long weekends in the area, but Yuma was not our destination that trip (Phoenix) and have never had any complaints. I'm knocking off a star only for the wait but otherwise I'd be happy to visit the dealer again (and I'm sure I will). Thanks for the great service guys!
