We had specific needs for the dresser, it had to be a certain size for the space, and she was great about walking us through what was there. Afterwards, we went and looked at the website together to see if there was anything else that they offered that would work for the space. I'm pleased with our choice, so much so that I went shopping online when I got home and found 4 things on clearance on their website and called her and added those to my ticket. When I got my chair, it was nice. But they messaged me to call them, I did. They said they'd call me in the afternoon, they did not. I finally got ahold of them and they said call Monday. I asked if they would help me take my old chair out. They said it was against their policy. My husband and I are elderly. I pay over 1000.00 and after they get my money, they don't seem to care. First of all Kudos to Carolyn Dempsey for being the best sales person ever. If you have ever looked for a lift chair that isn't bottom ugly, count your lucky stars. We went to three other furniture stores to find one that wasn't too hard, too soft, large enough for a man and his dog, has lumbar support and a head rest that adjusts. Carolyn Dempsey should be a trainer to teach sales people on how to work with customers. She listened to the long list of wants. Led my husband to this chair, handed him the remote control and said 'Try this out and let me know what you think.' She didn't hover but was available for questions. After the sale, she kept us informed about delivery and after delivery , she called to see if everything was to our satisfaction. Kudos to Carolyn!! read more

Bought what I thought was an upscale quality leather sofa. Cushions started to pack down within 3 weeks. The store restuffed (not very well I must say) but in order to do it they said it would cancel our warranty. What choice did we have and that didn't make any sense. Anyhow got the couch back from repair and my guess is we will be replacing it in a year or two. They refused to refund our money. read more

Worse customer service. I was told my furniture, which I ordered October 25th, would arrive the 2nd week of December. I called to check on the status two weeks ago and was told it wouldn't arrive until the end of December. I again called December 18th and was told it would not arrive until the end of February. Hence no place to seat anyone for the holidays. I cancelled the furniture and was told that since I paid cash for half of the order corporation would have to issue me a check and it would not arrive for ten business days. When it arrives, I would have to go in the store and pick it up. When I told them it would be in their best interest to send it to me they agreed to mail it to me. My wife and I, went into this store on Sunday, May 10th and we were looking at the Purple mattresses, when we walked in not one person greeted us or helped us. There was a sales guy helping a family in the mattress area, he never come over and told us to give him a minute, he will be right with us. I looked back at the front desk area and saw 4-5 sales people just standing around. So, my wife and I left and got home and went online to Purple.com and ended up saving over $750 on our cal king and metal base. They also gave us two king size pillows and mattress protector. I am happy we went online, there's no way Furniture Row would've gave us that kind of deal with the three free items. We have purchased a couch from these guys a couple months ago so this was upsetting, after this recent experience we will not be returning for any other purchases in the future. read more

Save your money and buy somewhere else. We had a problem with a bed order with bedroom expressions. Poor wood work and one of the bed rails were built upside down....had to send back and wait 14 days because we were not notified that the replacement parts had arrived. Then after final assembly, the headboard footboard do not match and are off by 2 inches. Less than one star:( read more

In 2016 I purchased well over a couple thousand dollars in furniture from here. It's 2020, and the two sofas, one with electric reclining seats and the other with manual reclining seats, have already started falling apart. A tall dresser and small dresser started getting discoloration from the surface areas due to the possibility of inferior paint and coating systems used on them. On one occasion I had to replace the electrical wire barrel plug from the electric reclining sofa, and I didn't buy the connection from Furniture Row because they wanted 30% more than what electronic department stores usually charge for the same power adapter for these units. Needless to say that I feel that for the money that I spent at Furniture Row that I'd expected more quality-made furniture. But I don't fully blame them, as they are probably getting their supplies from China, and by today most people know that if a Chinese product can last 5 years, it's more of a miracle. Sadly, I would not be shopping here again, and I would not recommend them to friends and family. read more

Well I have had an absolutely horrible experience in the Yuma location and I will never do business with these folks again!!!! First I went in and purchased a dining room table and six chairs along with end tables,a coffee table, couch and recliner then when the sofa played out after nine months I was informed that I had not purchased an extended warranty and was basically S.O.L. so I made repairs myself and used it for another eight years, when I returned to the store I decided to give them one more chance, bad decision!!! I purchased another couch and it to craped out in about nine months HOWEVER, this time I bought the warranty and with the couch and I was informed that I hadn't purchased anything in nine years!!!!!! Luckily I had the paperwork and the warranty at which point they admitted to the sale and the existence of the warranty and came to my house picked up the couch kept it several days before returning it along with a bill for pickup and delivery, at which time I wondered what exactly purpose the warranty had served, I suppose they worked on the sofa but I am back to putting a cushion down where I sit as the repair lasted less than a week!!! And today I returned to the store to get a"free" refill of a bottle of furniture polish which I was given at the time I purchased the couch, you probably guessed that I hadn't purchased anything in NINE YEARS!!!! My advice is to avoid furniture row in Yuma at all costs, they sell poor to mediocre quality furniture and the customer service is far beyond abismal and if you do purchase anything be sure to get the warranty to repair the junk and keep your paperwork cause they certainly don't and if you need to use the warranty (and you almost certainly will) you will have to prove to them that you bought it!!!!! I don't know what associate Christopher B. over here did business with, but we bought a a couch from Sofa Mart last year. I tell ya what: Some of the best customer service we've ever had. We had a very honest gentleman help us, and I believe he was the manager at that time (not sure who the current manager is now). He helped us greatly with our purchase, and was very honest with us... He stated that they had good, better, and best as far as the quality goes. We ended up purchasing the couch of our dreams (after going to a competitor, whose manager was a little too cocky for my taste). Yesterday, we headed over there again, and spoke to Raphael, I believe... a very kind young man, and very professional. Furniture Row, period, has some of the best sales associates in this town, in my opinion. We've had nothing, but good service, kindness and patience when visiting... even if you're not planning to buy anything. Unlike other furniture stores, they aren't constantly on your ass following you wherever you go (sorry 'bout my language, lol)... Just recently we bought a new desk at Oak Express over there, and had accidentally stayed our welcome (the store was closed), but the man didn't even seem annoyed, or impatient to get us financed (of course, we are spending money, I know this, lol)!!! We bought a recliner with speakers and Bluetooth. The wiring had a short in it and needs to be replaced. We have been trying for at least 6 months. Apparently the order was placed, everytime we would call to check on it that person no longer works here and we have to start all over again. We have spoken to 5 different people that are supposedly placing the order. We called yet again today and received a call back and was told the reason that it has not been ordered is because they had the wrong phone number. We give up. Typical Yuma. read more

Very unhappy with Sofa Mart / Furniture Row. My recliner broke. It will not recline. I contacted the store manager, Guadalupe Hernandez. Now I find out that I will have to pay to get my sofa picked up and/or to be fixed. He thinks it's the CABLE that broke, which of course is not under warranty. However, the MECHANISM is still under warranty. When talking to the very unprofessional manager, he couldn't tell me what parts ARE NOT under warranty. The warranty paper I was given when I purchased (cash) the sofa and love seat is a photo copied, typed paper which describes what IS under warranty. The frame and springs, seat cushions, back and throw pillows, fabric and seams, leather, MECHANISIMS, and wood. A cable isn't part of a MECHANISM?? Anyway, I urge anyone that considers this company when purchasing furniture, to be very careful. Their salesmen are great, but once you have the items, the store will find any reason NOT TO COVER it. AND if they do, they charge you $69 to pick it up and fix it, AFTER you pay for them to deliver it. In my case, I paid $159 for delivery initially. ***WHAT A SCAM*** read more

We purchased a love seat for our motorhome here in December 2014 and were on a very tight time frame for the delivery date. Measurements had to be exact to fit in a small space. Our salesman was Carlos and he did a superior professional job of handling our concerns. We dealt with the manager as well and were very impressed with the service we received. All staff including the warehouse staff were extremely accommodating and I would recommend this company too anyone and would purchase here again if the need arose. read more

I have to say that my experience with the Oak Express has been negative. The service was great but what happened afterwards has been a nightmare. I purchased a table and chair set during the annual Memorial Day sale. I picked up the box 3 weeks later. This was to be a gift for my 21 year old who was moving out on his own in June 15 or so. When he opened the box, all the legs to the 4 chairs were of one type so the chairs could not be put together. I called the store they said they would reorder the correct legs. No answer in July so I called again, not there. I called again in August, NO LUCK! Now its' September 22 and I am going to call this morning to see what is going on with my order. I feel a full refund is in order or a choice of some other chairs. My son has not been able to invite anyone over for dinner because he does not have seats for them and he does not want to invest in others because he should have had these. Contact was never made by the company, I have had to call each time. Will not shop there and I plan on telling everyone I know about my experience so they should shop somewhere else. My husband and I went to sofa mart in August 2015 to get new living room furniture. We ended up buying 2 Dana sofas, one dana recliner, a sofa table, and a fireplace and mantle entertainment center. We had everything delivered a month and a half later only to find that both sofas had white stains and one was even coming apart, and the other had the fabric pulled and loose on the back. The sofa table had white stains on the top and the fireplace was dented. Sure enough, the sofas and fireplace were reordered and delivered in another month and a half later. The new sofas were in worst condition, so they were taken back, and I kept the already damaged ones, and the fireplace was replaced; I was told the stains on the sofa table were from the natural stone (they were not, but I let it go). We went back in to the store to choose a completely new set of sofas, and we were told the new ones we chose would arrive within two weeks (before Thanksgiving). One month and a half later, again, December 28, we get the new sofas only to find that the fabric had 3 gashes on the back of one and the foot on that same one was not even fitting. I was furious and told them I would not order new sofas and that they would have to come back and get those sofas when I got new ones from somewhere else. They could care less how I felt and told me they had to take them back if I wanted a full refund. I did not want to deal with them anymore and ended up telling them they would have to take everything back. And so they did without hesitating. No loss for them but a great pain in the neck, head and *** for me and my family. I will not recommend sofa mart to anyone, doesn't matter how polite and nice the sales people are; they lie and have no regard for anyone's time (or lack of it) to be dealing with damaged furniture. They won't even try to keep you as a customer, they don't care. Now I'm dealing with the refund. Not complete yet.... I don't expect them to expedite that process, they don't care to please me since I will never be their customer again. read more
