We took our 87 year old mother to buy a table and six chairs at Ashley. HUGE mistake. The salesperson was great to work with however nothing went right from the moment we paid. She told us the furniture would be here in a week, then "a few weeks".. We actually had the furniture scheduled, and the truck was a NO SHOW. It took five phone calls to track down someone who could tell us what happened - "Oh sorry, the chairs didn't make it on the truck". Huh??? And by the way, "The table was damaged so it'll be shipped separately in a month". When the chairs finally arrived (but not all of them) the quality was horrible; chips on the legs, dripping paint on the side, and dust covers poorly installed. The chairs look like cheap imitations of the chairs in the showroom, I shudder to think what the table will look like. The table was rescheduled for delivery but the delivery date came and went. NO TABLE. I called the manager at the Silverdale store tonight and asked for the floor model instead of waiting. "No can do". When will we get the table? "For SURE on Dec. 13th." I asked the manager if the table had been damaged (original story told to us) and she said no, the manufacturer just didn't ship it. So now we have five poorly made chairs, not the six we paid for, and no table. It's a really bad way to do business. I can understand why the majority of reviews are 1 and 2 stars. Ashley, WAKE UP. Go to the bank and buy a clue! read more

I purchased a sleeper sofa. The sofa part is nice, but the bed part is terrible. The head is over 1 inch lower than the foot. It needs to have 4 inch legs. The store sent a technician who said it was mis-manufactured. He was over ruled by corporate who sent one out that said it is fine. I asked for taller legs to be provided. They eventually sent 1 leg the same size as was already installed. After numerous phone Calls it is not fixed. Each call takes at leAst 20 minutes to.be connected. Two days ago I was told a 3rd technician would arrive between 11 and 2. I called at 2:15 and was told he was in transit. At 3:30 I was told we had cancelled . We had not and had waited the entire time. I sent an email to corporate.....nothing. I ordered a kit from amazon to fix it myself for $36. What an awful experience. Their poor design was compounded by their disrespectful customer service. I will never buy there again read more

This has been the worst company to get anything from. I recently moved to the area. I bought all brand new furniture they delivered all my furniture weeks later than we had scheduled for. Later I bought a sofa from them and they were supposed to deliver it on a scheduled day. They changed the delivery time twice so I waited up until 11pm at night as they had rescheduled for. Nobody showed. They rescheduled for another day. They still did not show. They say they will return my call and do not. I went into the store twice and they couldn't give me answers because they have terrible communication with who delivers their furniture. I asked for my money back and spoke with a manager who said they would send my check in the mail in 4 weeks. I called 4 weeks later and she said it was sent in the mail and it should be any day now. 7 weeks now have past by and I called the store for an update she said the check was never sent to me and she will try to resubmit and it'll be another 4 weeks. This is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Unacceptable way to run a business. read more

This deserves a negative star rating! The salesmen was nice but we are completely dissatisfied with the customer service. They call it customer care which should completely be renamed, in my opinion. We received our furniture delivery in mid-may. The salesman ordered the wrong ottoman, the dining table was delivered with a scratch, the mattress was damaged and they delivered the incorrect adjustable base. We were told by the store that it is possible that the adjustable base was resold or delivered to the wrong customer, they are not sure. We have been dealing with customer care, which is an unpleasant experience and I can't emphasize this enough. Every time we call, we get a different person who wants more pictures or different information. We are told that claims are submitted and then call back, because they generally don't follow through with a call to us, and then find out nothing is being done with our claim. We finally received the correct ottoman and someone came and repaired the table; however, we still have a damaged mattress that we would like exchanged and we do not have the adjustable base that we paid for. The processes within customer care are absolutely ridiculous and we are very unhappy customers!! read more

The worst experience I've ever experienced in my adult life was shopping at this location. When I was in store service was okay the manger I believe was the one who had helped me the finding and purchasing process was quick I knew what I wanted. It was the 8th of this month. They stated they could deliver it to me on the 15th stated they had access to the base, I said okay. Left the store the week passed and I got the confirmation email the night before stating they would be at my home between 11-2! The 15th arrives and at around 11:30 I got a phone call from a gentleman stating he was 10 minutes away and confirmed with me that I lived on the base I said yes he never said I needed escorted on at the store the manager said they had access I didn't think twice. About ten minutes goes by, a half hour and hour no driver. So I called the customer support explained the situation the lady tried calling the driver no answer stated she would keep trying and call me back. Another hour goes by no call, no driver so I called back explained my situation again and this time the lady tried calling the driver again and even the dispatch of the trucking company they use no response states she'll keep trying and call me back. At this point I'm angry I drove down to the gate asked every guard I saw as well as the check in station no one has seen an Ashely's truck or anyone of that nature trying to gain access. So I go back home I call them for the third time upset and angry I demand to speak to the manger and this time I got a manager mind you every time I called this place I was on hold for atleast 15 minutes! I finally speak to the manger it's now after 2pm my 3 hour window has passed. After explaining the situation for the third time very upset she tried to lie to me and tell me the driver had in fact showed up and did not have his SS to access the base from my understanding you don't need it just your ID and proper working papers or you need to be escorted on to the base. I called her out on the lie she then proceeded to apologize and say they drop the ball like this all the time!? I said how am I as the customer suppose to believe you or trust your company at this point?! I want it delivered ASAP she said she can put in a request for it to be delivered on Saturday with a refund of my delivery fee since my time was not met. I thought that that was the end. It wasn't. Friday comes rolling around it's about 6pm my time 8pm apparently their time no call or email to confirm my delivery time for Saturday so I call them. They said no one picked up the order so it wasn't going to be delivered on Saturday I'm fuming now I demanded to speak to the manger again and told her I want a full refund that this is unacceptable and I'm disgusted to have had to go through this. No one should have had to go through what I had to go through for a very experience piece of furniture. From the reviews I've been reading I'm not the first person this has happened to and I'm sure I won't be the last. My best advice is to never shop at this store and believe the furniture will show up! I just now today after 3 weeks of hell and sitting on my living room floor with a blanket received my refund and can finally put this nightmare behind me! I will never shop at Ashley's again! read more

After writing a review and talking with JoLisa. Ashley furniture is making it right. They are replacing all defective furniture and delivering my couch and giving me a piece of furniture for all the inconvenience we went through. I'm not a grudge holder and will continue to furnish our house with their home goods. read more

I came in on 11/25/2015 bought a couch & lamps and mirrors several things. At check out I was told the lamps I wanted are floor models I could not take home they needed to be ordered? I was able to take one home because it was not one of the styles that needed to be ordered. I was told by cashier it will be on order. weeks later I call to check on it- the customer service person told me I picked it up already. I said a few words then customer service rep said oh- we need to investigate the error they made. Two days later no one calls I call again. same story looks like u picked them up.? Ok finally a week goes by I call- Yes, I call and they tell me they sent ticket to billing to get it re-ordered. Three weeks later I call to re-check again on it- no one has called me either- I am told oh looks you picked up already? I ask them to look at notes- I am on hold again- each call 30-40 minute hold time each I called. The customer service rep says sorry- we need to send note to billing-again- I am mad at this point- the sales -customer service reps laughs like it's funny really-really laughing , I almost SAI D ARE YOU STUPID!! AWEFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE Today is 1/27/26 I spoke to manager Kenita who is suppose to make sure something happens? ok Kenita- I should of talked to Manager in the first place because responsibility should have been with customer service person who screwed up . Last year 4/1/2015 we ordered a couch for my son in the Tukwila area, it took 7 months for them to send a couch-unfortunately the wrong couch came. The delivery people would not wait for me to figure out why we had wrong couch delivered after over half year . We finally gave up and asked for refund. We thought giving them a second chance was ok since we were at a whole other site. it seems that this business needs to refine & retrain customer service people . I do have to say the sales person who helped us was Great!! the rest of the place needs improvement read more

It seems that that company doesn't communicate because I received a call today. After such stress and a huge headache my nightstand will be replaced which I appreciate. However, I do not agree with how I was treated, the assumptions that were made (that I somehow damaged the nightstand instead of realizing that it was a defect), or the process I had to go through to get a replacement nightstand. It was an extremely frustrating process. My recommendation is that if you choose to buy from Ashley Furniture, you need to carefully inspect all items thoroughly before the delivery people leave your house. This is pretty sad considering the price of the furniture, but that would be my recommendation to anyone buying from them in the future. I however, will not be making any further purchases from this company. read more

My wife and I stopped in to look at a new couch. Our sales lady Norma was an absolute joy to deal with! She was not pushy at all, and listened to what we were looking for. She explained all the different levels of quality, along with answered any questions we had. We are still looking around, but Norma made it worth the time to stop in and look around. read more

My wife and I went in to Ashley's less than half a year ago to buy a bed frame. We initially went in looking for something we can buy outright, but were then persuaded over to something a bit more expensive, with the assurance that they would be able to work with us for payments. We got stuck with a 3rd party finance company, which completely mislead us on how much of our payments are actually going towards the frame itself (about $20 or so for every $150ish monthly payment...) This in itself isn't the reason for the bad review, since the fine print is the fine print... The real reason is the awful quality of our frame. Apparently, to cut costs or something, very few wood screws were used where they should have been. The support beam towards the head of the bed broke on one side, because there was only one wood screw for all the weight. As annoying as this is, at least it's under warranty, since we had it for only a few months. It's been two weeks, and three calls to customer service later, and they STILL haven't shipped the part we need out. First it was in stock and would ship ASAP, and now we have to wait another week for them to to ship it to us. Then we have to wait for the part. Then we have to schedule an appointment for one of their techs to come out and repair the piece of garbage they tricked us into buying. In the meantime, I have a car jack holding up the broken part of the bed frame. Something breaking wouldn't bother me so much, except it's something that we NEED to work, so it should get priority over, say, a busted chair or picture frame. I also don't appreciate having something out of commission for an entire MONTH, when we're making MONTHLY payments on it. If you're going furniture shopping, look elsewhere. It can't get much worse than these guys. read more

Talking about the worst experience ever went into my local silverdale Washington store the Wednesday before thanksgiving to order furniture. We where approved thru rac program because we are just coming out of a bankruptcy and made our down payment and was told furniture would be here by 12/14 great just in time for the holidays. Well that's when the story was happy then the truth came out, we where called on 12/5 the gentlemen said what to schedule a delivery time for 12/7 I replied awesome it came in early, his reply was hold one second please......came back on line and said sorry have the wrong person hold one sec please.......came back and said yours is schedule for 12/14 i said yes it was and i can't wait, then the horrid story begins got called on 12/11 and they said due to only one piece being delivered we will not be delivering your furniture until 1/19 you have the option of going to the store and reselect or wait. So we went to store and all re-selected items where not gonna be there before Christmas, So a manager came over and said I'll get this figured this out will see if we can't get you something in your home for the holidays this was wed 12/11 we said great he said I'll call you later tonight or tomorrow so we sat waiting and hoping no call that night, or next day, or next day and finally we get a call Saturday from rac working not even the manager saying ill call you back tomorrow nothing has been figured out yet. So we waited again and then it happen we get the call Sunday night and the rac lady says we cannot do anything for you sorry, really so we asked for our money back she informed us it had been 48hrs so store policy says we can not do that, so know no money back, no furniture for Christmas parties and a big fat your to little for us to help. This whole situation made us feel since we where going thru RAC program & just out of bankruptcy that we where expendable because first we had furniture then where told yeah next week then where told nope 1/19/14 and then oh will help and finally NO HELP, NO REFUND, JUST WAIT OH AND BY THE WAY WILL PUSH YOUR FIRST PAYMENT OUT TO 1/15 WHICH MEANS YOU CAN STILL PAY US BEFORE YOU GET YOUR FURNITURE THANKS-----THIS IS BS IN THE HIGHEST DEGREE NO MATTER WHAT YOUR BUSINESS RULES OUR YOUR CONSUMER COMES FIRST read more

After visiting a number of Ashley Stores we visited the store in Silverdale to purchase new bedroom furniture. I don't remember the full name of the young associate that helped us. Her last name was Campbell like ours. She was very helpful and the only helpful person we met at Ashleys. We made a cash purchase of their top of the line bedroom suite, bed, mattress, night stands and two chest of drawers. The furniture arrived two weeks later. After putting the furniture together I was asked to look at it. It looked good on the first look. I was then asked to confirm the furniture had arrived to customer service on a cell phone and rate the delivery. I had no problems at that time. 30 minutes after delivery I went into the bedroom to remove the labels and noticed a dent in one of the night stands. I called customer service immediately. They said serviceman would come out. They did not come because they had entered the incorrect address for the service call. We waited another week. We missed the telephone call for us to confirm delivery on the second date. So we called customer service. They transferred us to a number of departments. My husband asked if the person coming would replace the furniture. We were told no, they would repair it. We asked that they bring a replacement just in the case the repair man could not fix it. They said no. The operator then told me it had taken 4 or 5 days before I had reported the damage. This was not the case. Four or five days after I reported the damage I called customer service to check on the status of the service call and was told an incorrect address had been entered. So a second entry was made on the damage at this time. The manner in which the young woman in customer service spoke to us was in an accusatory manner. Very unsettling indeed. A week late young repair man came. He said he would repair it and if we did not like it he would request a replacement. The repair was done. The repairman left before my husband was available to sign off on the work. I signed off so the gentleman could leave. However, I said I would sign off that the work had not been done with my husband giving final approval. The repair man made a note of that and said it would not be a problem. My husband inspected the worked when he came home and noted the dark mark on the site where the repair had been done. We called customer service again to request a replacement. At this point we had a long 30 minute telephone conversation with customer service who would not approve a replacement after the repair. It took a number of photographs sent to an Ashley text messaging phone and followed by group discussions by customer service personnel before they agreed to send a replacement piece of furniture. We were left hanging on the phone during the whole process. The whole process was unsettling. We were made to feel like we asking for the impossible. Three weeks later the replacement arrived. We spent close on $5,000 with the store. Ashley's customer service department or lack of customer service is something the company should seriously look into to. You don't treat customers in this manner. We will never return to Ashleys. I cannot give a recommendation to anyone to purchase furniture from this company. The company has grown too big too fast and really needs to have someone come in to set up a customer service department. Warning do not sign off on any thing. read more

If your just going to look around and not want to buy, your gonna feel pressure to leave. Especially by the lady with red hair.

Today's review is specifically targeted at Ashley's Delivery Department. If I had my way, they would receive ZERO stars. Their service leaves much to be desired. Whenever I purchase anything from the Ashley's Homestore, my experience with the sales and customer service staff is that I am always satisfactory and I am pleased with their professionalism and accommodation. Then we get to their Delivery Department. I have yet to have a successful, satisfactory delivery from them. They drop the ball every time, which is unfortunate because their lack of excellence towards customer service and just plain consideration for the customers, underminds the integrity, confidence, and trust that the sales and customer service staff worked so hard to establish. Bottom Line. This Delivery Department is bad business and needs to be amputated from the Ashley's Furniture Homestore brand. Reccommendation. Please find another delivery company or division that is COMPETENT. read more

i'm sorry, but if i could give this horrible store a zero minus for customer service, products, and any all else that is associated with this place! first of all, this store is a franchise!!!! do you know what means? it means they can do anything they want with your money, delivery time, anything and everything to make your life miserable once they get your money, spend it, and then sit back and make you wait, and wait, and wait and wait for your stuff to be delivered. and do not expect it to be in perfect condition or and this is funny: even what you ordered, but a cheaper, lesser product then your order. this store needs to be shit down, put out of business for their shaddy operation, hiring schemers and liars who have no conscience of taking hard working families money!!!!! the bbb has had sooooooooo many complaints for this store for anything and everything!!!! do not shop here, do not spend your hard earned money here, they will take it, spend it and you will be left playing the waiting game for months and months!!!! read more

I went in to buy furniture at Ashley Homestore in Silverdale, Wa. back in March of 2018. I purchased the furniture then thought better of it and decided to cancel the sale until my daughter arrived. I cancelled the sale within the 48 hours allowed time to cancel but I still got billed $4,000.00 for it. I have talked with the store on several occasions and with different levels of Ashley Management and have been unable get them to sort out the situation. Now the charge has gone to my credit and it dropped my credit rating by 250 point!!. I have promises by varying level of Ashley Store Management that they will resolve this. It seems that there is no centralized seat of power in terms of clearing accounts. The head does not seem to communicate very clearly with the bottom levels. No matter how you slice it, this is a horrible way to do business. Ahsley should be ashamed of themselves. read more

I purchased 5000 dollars worth of furnitture a month ago, and still have not recieved the full delivery. The buying process was delightfull, a saleslady named Norma helped us with our purchase and was delightful and made the process fun, but thats when the fun ended. We paid for our furniture and was told we were on the schedual for the following week, we waited till 9pm and still no furniture. There is no way you can get a hold of customer service, it is a joke. Calling the store will get you a yes/no on weather you are on the schedual or not, but they cant do anything either. You get a automated phone call two days before delivery and you better get that one and only phone call, or you are booted off the schedual, and getting ahold of a live person at customer service is impossible. So anaother week went by, we only got half of our delivery, was told it was on back order. Yesterday they called and i missed the call, tried to call back and got the same run around with being on hold forever, called the store to find out i had been booted for next week, you dont get a second chance to return the call, i cant believe they dont deliver all week and cant reschedule for the following day, but no you are booted to the next week. I will never, ever buy from this company again. Once they get your money you enter into a sort of limbo, I would like to tell them to cancle the whole order, the thing is, they have beautiful furniture and i found the other furniture stores in kitsap county sorely lacking in choice. read more

Okay so I've been here about 4 times...all 4 times for different furniture (bedroom, dining room, guest room& living room). My experience was honestly a good one (: my first 2 or 3 visits we had a lady helping us out (I don't remember her name I just remember she was like Puerto Rican) she was really cool, she got us a good deal I have no complains there. This last time I was there was a day before Memorial Day I was helped out by Nate. He was very nice & helpful...he helped us choose our couch I asked him if they were going to have any additional sales for Memorial Day and he said "not that he knew of" so we got our couch 10% off because of my husbands military discount. Turns out the next day (Memorial Day) they had a sale for 20% off so Nate called us back to let us know they were refunding us the additional 10% we didn't get off the day before that was honestly pretty awesome I would've never expected him to call back! Thank you Nate! :D only reason I took away a star is because I signed my contract and everything saying I was getting my furniture delivered on Friday and now is pushed back another whole week with no good explanation all they "sorry there's nothing we could do" not cool other than that I don't have any complaints read more

I went into Ashley HomeStore on 9/23/17 told Lanae the sales person I was in the market for a grey sectional, I told which one I thought it was they did not have on the floor they only had online. So after looking at a few options I went home and measured my living room and came back on 9/28. I told Lanae (who was very helpful and nice) that I was ready to order the grey sectional she pulled up the one we thought it was Jessa, but I think it was the Jayceon one is the one that I wanted. When I discussed with their 3rd party financing that I was concerned since there was no 48 hour or the 14 day return policy that I was taking a chance since the couch is online. He said don't worry if there is an issue with the couch we can get it traded out for something that is of equal or lesser value. So when my "grey" couch showed up yesterday when I was at work (my mom accepted delivery) got home and it is green not grey. I immediately called the 3rd party financing and they said they would re write my contract as long as Ashley signed off on it. Called Ashley spoke with Linda and told her what the 3rd party had said and she said she would talk to them and call me back. No call after an hour so I called back and someone said Linda left for the day. Ok.. Called back today spoke with Linda and she said the store manager Taylor called me. I have no missed calls no messages from Taylor. I asked to speak to Taylor Linda said she is not here today.. ok.. but she will be there tomorrow. Linda looked on my account and said Taylor put note indicating since it was the 3rd party financing I would not be eligible for a swap out. Still waiting to discuss with the store manager but I am not going to pay $1500 for a couch that doesn't in anyway go with my stuff. I hope this can be resolved Ive always like Ashley furniture but this transaction has been less than stellar and since Ive already spent my money there customer service is severely lacking. read more

I went to the Silverdale store and had so much fun picking out furniture with friends. The salesperson was very accommodating and helpful. I purchased the perfect couch and matching chairs. They told me a couple of weeks. That was perfect to me because I was having my housewarming party in a month and right before my birthday. two weeks went by and no call so I called them and they told me it would be another week. I told them I would be out of town during that time but I would come and get everything as soon as I got back. I heard nothing during my absence and still nothing when I returned so I called again. I couldnt get through so i decided to stop by they store. they were not very kind about letting me know that my furniture was not going to make it still. it seemed it would be another couple weeks. They were pretty short with me in fact. It felt like they didn't value my patronage anymore since I already paid for the furniture. I told them that I would not have a truck or bodies available to help by then, as well as now my furniture would not be in time for my housewarming party. They were unsympathetic and essentially felt it was not there problem after I suggested they have it delivered to me after this point. I got no love. Finally, 1 month and a half later, the furniture was in and they called to let me know. I told them I would get it as soon as I was able since now I had no truck, have to get out of work and need bodies to help. A couple of days went by and I wasn't able to get a truck so they now took it upon themselves to harass me with phone calls. Apparently it is important I pick things up when they need me too. i finally borrowed a truck, went in after work on an icy day and the doors were open but apparently it was close to closing so they couldnt help me because there computers were turned off. So brought the truck back to friend and would have let them keep the furniture if i hadnt already paid for it. i eventually was able to pick up the furniture though. Now I liked my furniture and had intended to buy my kitchen and bedroom furniture but was treated so poorly that I could not recommend this experience to everyone. Find somewhere else. Plus they charge you extra to pick up your furniture at their store and charge you a hefty rate to deliver the more you spend. Doesn't make sense. read more

I would like to give this store minus stars, but since that's not possible I hope this review saves someone some grief!! This store is a joke!! They have the worst return policy, it starts from the time of PURCHASE!! 48 hours is all you get. It doesn't matter that you don't get your merchandise until long after that. If your not happy and want to return any or part of your purchase you can for "Re-selection", but don't expect to get your money back, even if there's nothing there you want to "Re-select" your purchase for! So if you shop there be prepared to get screwed!! Everyone is Sooo nice until they get your money. And it doesn't matter what the corporate office tells you or an employee there named Will,(maybe short for William) Jacob plays by his own rules. He is one sorry excuse for a person in charge at a business. I think he thinks he is more important than he really us. He has no customer relation skills and should work somewhere where he doesn't seem Sooooo miserable. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF SOME UNNECESSARY GRIEF AND DONT SHOP HERE!!! read more

I purchased a living room set the day before Thanksgiving. I had a wonderful experience in the store and found exactly what I was looking for. The salesman was very helpful. I was told that the set would be delivered on Dec. 4th. At the time of delivery confirmation, I was told that the couch would not be available until the Dec. 23rd. On the day of delivery, I learned that my accent chair was not on the truck. I currently have a empty living room with a Christmas Tree, coffee table and end table. The Customer Care team had no way to help with this problem. They simply gave me their apologies and told me they could not refund my money for the couch or the chair. To quote Rob, the manager at Customer Care, "We don't work like that." We will be entertaining family and friends this Holiday while standing in my living room admiring the coffee table and wishing for a place to sit. This has not been fun, exciting or easy. read more
