DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING. We purchased an electric loveseat recliner and an oversized chair recliner. After only 2 years the chair stopped working in April . This year was used maybe 10 times. Then before they could send a technician, the loveseat stopped working that May. The recliner was finally repaired in OCTOBER but Ashley nor the extended warranty that Ashley sold to me for the furniture will repair the loveseat. They say it's a manufacturer defect. Look at Better Business Bureau We made a $8,127 purchase for a bed and a Tempurpedic mattress at Ashley Furniture in Pflugerville- They delivered us the incorrect adjustable base, from a different brand twice (not the Tempurpedic we purchased, but an off-brand called Serta) They tried to scam us by giving us a cheaper Serta base (about 1k less than what we bought). OMG i have never dealt with more difficult people who seem to want to screw you over intentionally. i bought some furniture from Ashleys in Pflugerville who double charged us twice for the same couch. i went in negative in my account $3400 because of them. They refused to fix it right away playing the "waiting game" on a pending charge which still took me to negstive. They didnt fix it for 2 weeks. I spoke with a Will, who is a manager, & he was not helpful at. He never called back to let us know what was going on. I ordered my couch this past mid September. Due to Covid difficulties the sales associate at the time told me it would be delivered in about 6 weeks during late October with perhaps some small delays (inferring 1 week or 2). She had given me an online business card with a business number attached. During this time and throughout this whole experience there has been a lack of communication and straightforwardness on Ashley's end. 1 week before my supposed October delivery date I contacted the sales associate (after hearing nothing from Ashley's) and had the following correspondence with her: (https://imgur.com/a/KODQfeS) through the aforementioned business card information. This is one of the rudest responses I have ever received in retail and makes me not want to ever go to Ashley's again. In this correspondence she states that the delivery will now be pushed to mid November and to cancel I will have to forfeit 10% of the full amount I have paid for a "restocking" fee even though the product clearly can't get stocked for months to half a year. After calling Ashley's corporate customer service hotline (after not feeling comfortable with the Ashley's associate) I was able to find out that delivery is now to be pushed until at least January. I was told to call back a week later and see if anything has changed as it is only an estimate. Another week later I have called their hotline again and informed there will not be an estimate until 12-16 weeks from 11-18-2020. This is unacceptable, so I called the Ashley corporate line again. They informed me that most stores in this situation have been waiving the 10% fee and that this is more than reasonable given this timeline but because all Ashley's are owned independently then I must reach the store for a refund. I have called the store line multiple times and have yet to get a call back or have anyone answer the phone. Do not order from Ashley's (this one especially) and do not trust their sales associates. That is what I will post everywhere and tell everyone at this point in time. 5-6 months for couch delivery for an original 1 month delivery is beyond unreasonable. The associates at this facility have also made it difficult to get back the money I paid at every step by not communicating well at all. Ordering from Ashley was a huge expensive mistake. We ordered a queen bedroom set, mattress and TV stand with fireplace. The first time our order came ALL items were damaged. The second time our delivery came our footboard was damaged, a piece was missing from our headboard and the incorrect fireplace insert was delivered and ordered by the store. When calling customer service the reps are anything but helpful and seem annoyed with their jobs. Especially Kimberly in the call center! When attempting to call the store, it will ring and place you on hold before eventually hanging up. I'm beginning to think that the major sales they have are to make up for their lackluster service. We purchased a new dresser and ordered the delivery. Approximately 3 weeks ago, they delivered the dresser with the front corner bashed in. Didn't say a word to us bringing it into the house even though they must have seen the damage. You can't miss it. My wife doesn't know not to accept it, and does and then tells me about it and send me a photo. I have her contact the store and work it out. They agree to exchange it. Here we are, 3 weeks later, and it was supposed to be exchanged today with its replacement. They gave me the timeframe of 2-5pm. I just call, and she said my scheduled delivery time is 4-7pm. I told her that is not what we confirmed and I read her the e-mail. She literally said "Well, doesn't look like that's going to happen, is it?". Nice. Won't be buying from them EVER again. FYI - Austin Furniture Outlet off of Bell Rd has the EXACT same furniture and can discount it. The in store experience was great, however after we spent several thousand dollars with the company when the automated system told us that our delivery time would begin after 7pm we tried to call. We spent 2 1/2 hrs on hold without ever speaking to a live person, so we called the show room. They told us that they have no control over delivery and that the delivery team sets up deliveries geographically. I informed them that delivery after 7 pm would not work for us due to the fact we have young children that go to bed around that time, the store told us our only other option was to drive to San Marcos and pick up and install our items ourselves after we paid for delivery and installation. There are so many problems with this situation, as a small business owner if any of my customers were ever on hold for 2 hrs or more I failed at my job. If a customer pays for a service the answer should never be "you can do it yourself"! After this experience I'm not sure we will ever shop at this retailer again. read more

I phoned to get this corrected .I was on hold for over 30 minutes before the phone hung up on me. I drove over to the store and spoke to one of the managers- A who apologized because he said I got a "new employee " and that he put the order in wrong. I told this manager, that there was another manager-B who checked his work, the manager A said the Manager B also put it in wrong. Manager and said he was going to send an email to Corporate to get an approval get a couch re-delivered and the right color. I left the store three days later nothing from Ashley's. I wrote a letter to the Better Business Bureau I wrote a letter to the owner of this franchise Ashley store in Pflugerville Texas (Chad Spencer Group, LLC) I also wrote a letter to the CEO of Ashley stores-(Todd R Wanek). I have heard nothing back from either of these men. After my complaint to the Better Business Bureau I got a phone call from someone from Ashley's in regards to my complaint to the Better Business Bureau we've been playing phone tag. I have emailed them with no response they sent me an email saying they were trying to get in contact with me. I phoned customer service only to find out that I needed to go back to the store and put in an order to get the right couch. After going to the store four times and nothing happening I get a call from the original customer service guy who supposedly messed up the order Lucas. I make an appointment to go see Lucas to re-order the couch in the right color. The appointment was for 11 AM Lucas was 10 minutes late. I sit down with Lucas to order the couch in the right color cream. Lucas tells me he doesn't know how I got a light gray colored couch when this couch only comes in cream. After showing him pictures of the light gray couch that was delivered to me from Ashley's home store Pflugerville Texas he calls customer service to try to get the couch in the right color only to find out that Ashley's home store in Pflugerville Texas has been falsely advertising that couch in the wrong color and it only comes in light grey. After all this time to find out that they don't even have the color that they advertised all I have to say is this is the worst company that I've ever had to deal with they have the worst customer service and they are liars. If I can do -10 stars I would. I wish this store would shut down. We ordered a couch on back order, and our sales associate said it would be shipped in 2-6 weeks. Weeks go by, and we have no update or anything. When we try to look up to order, it says no order found. Ashley doesn't even answer the phone half the time when you call so that was really fun too. After calling numerous times, we would get in touch with a sales associate who would say "I see your delivery date is August 5th," then when august 5th would come around and we would call with no couch, they would say "oh, your delivery date is august 23rd." As you can imagine, no one knew what they were talking about. Finally, we called again and they said 2 pieces of our couch were discontinued. Wouldn't it be common sense to call the buyer and notify them of this? Instead of wasting their time for WEEKS- waiting for a couch with discontinued parts? And to top it off, when we asked to cancel our order, the sales associate argued with us and said they can offer us a $35 credit to continue with our order. Absolute WORST company with the absolute WORST customer service. We should have known better with our last order and delivery from them to NEVER use them again. Took 10 months to get a couch!! And just like many of the reviews below.. their excuse was "it was damaged in warehouse". Fast forward to December, against my better judgment, we went into Ashley and ordered a full bedroom set along with an additional couch. We made sure to ask time and time again about the lead/delivery times since our last order with them was an absolute joke. We were told and GUARANTEED 4-6 weeks delivery. 4-6 weeks come and go and we've heard nothing, not an update, nothing from Ashley. I call to get an update and am told at that point it would be ANOTHER 4-6 weeks before our items would be ready for delivery. Here we are almost SIXTEEN weeks from the time we ordered our furniture and when I call to get yet another update it's the same old song and dance, your items aren't ready for delivery.. wait on hold for 30 mins for someone to answer and then their line goes dead. Why does this happen every time I call??? I will tell EVERYONE I know about this shit hole of a company and to NEVER order from them. EVER!!!!! Well, that's been nearly 3 months ago. Have been since told over and over "it's in Houston and will be here soon" all while my delivery keeps getting bumped every 2 weeks going on 3 months. Delivery number says "we just schedule you'll have to call the store direct." No answer, not returning calls/texts. When I did finally get someone on the phone they tell me they are not allowed to sell the floor model. Why not, you can't get the couch to your customers, why continue to sell it to other customers and make promises you can't keep? I don't recommend purchasing here and certainly don't recommend you sell your furniture based on their promises thinking yours is "scheduled for next week". Paid for my love seat -was told it would be delivered on July 23rd, got the confirmation and then a confirmation text on the 22nd, confirmed the delivery- waited all day for the delivery - never came, no call, the delivery time was until 7:45 pm, so couldn't call Called the next day and was told "they should have called you to let you know it won't be delivered until August 13th or 14th". When I finally got through today after being on hold today for 20 minutes I was told that I shouldn't have been told my order would be delivered because someone else had already received what I ordered. Ashley furniture is the WORST in quality, HONEST salespeople, customer service, delivery, and the warranty is a JOKE. I had to UPGRADE to a pricier mattress to be able to have it delivered in 5 days .... bed in box I didn't know about until delivery... 2 months later the corners are still shaped like the end of a banana. The adjustable bed frame does not adjust ... the head is lower than the feet. The kitchen table and chairs never got delivered... my 5th visit to THE STORE (customer service is impossible to reach), I was told (2 months later) I CANCELLED IT!!! I couldn't even get them to give me a refund receipt showing I was refunded $ for the table I did not cancel and was given to someone else. My husband and I searched weeks for the perfect big girl bed for our 3 year old and finally found a Loft Bed at Ashley's furniture. When he went to order it, the sales associate recommended that we buy the twin mattress there as well (since there was a 20% discount that day). We normally buy mattresses at Mattress Firm, and even with discount Ashley's charged us $280 for the mattress, but decided that it would save us an extra trip, so we went with a recommended mattress and paid for shipping & scheduled delivery for both the Loft Bed and mattress for 12 days later when we came back from our vacation. On October 20, when the delivery came, the workers assembled the bed and placed the mattress on the Loft bed. That's when I noticed that the height of the mattress was not appropriate for the Loft bed frame where it almost appeared flush with the barrier/guard. In fact, my 3 year old fell out of it when she was trying it out. So we decided not to let her sleep in it over the weekend and decided to call Ashley Furniture Monday morning to exchange for a safer mattress for this Loft bed frame. Monday morning October 23, we called Ashley customer care associate and explained that we had safety concerns about the mattress we were sold and would like to exchange for one that would be safer, but they said they cannot not exchange nor refund the mattress since the package was already opened. We explained that we never opened the package, the delivery worker opened it without us trying out the mattress first and that if we had known this was not safe for our child to sleep in we would've never purchased it. After speaking to several customer care associates including their manager, it was the same response. I even suggested that we return the whole bed so that we can find another bed that would fit this mattress that we're stuck with. But they said, we have surpassed the 48 hr return policy for the bed, so we were stuck with both pieces. We are stuck with this $280 mattress that was overpriced and not safe for our child. The Ashley's sales associate should have been familiar with their products and warn us of the incompatibility/danger of this mattress for the Loft Bed we picked out. What if my 3-year old got seriously injured had we let her sleep in this bed?? We're not even pursuing legal charges - but just want a fair exchange to have a peace of mind as a parent with respect to the safety of our child. I'm disappointed in the gross disregard by the sales associate for safety when recommending products to families as well as the disregard for customer satisfaction when providing justification for exchange. When looking at Mattress Firm policies below, we clearly should have went with our original plan to go with a store that cares about it's clients. " Love Your Mattress Guarantee - If for some reason you don't love your new mattress anytime within 120 nights from your original delivery date, we will do whatever we can to help you get your perfect night's sleep by matching you with the right mattress. And if you just don't feel the love with your mattress selection, we will even issue you a refund. Mattress Firm is committed to helping you find the right mattress and we're committed to your happiness." Needless to say, we will not be shopping at Ashley's anymore and will be submitting a report to BBB and will post on Twitter & Facebook. She said that they can't offer anything per policy since mattress was opened and said we can re-select another bed that may fit better with the mattress (since we're stuck with the mattress). I declined that option and said if they have nothing else to offer to remediate I standby my review. She said she'll talk to her boss and get back to me the next day. 10/25 - Then this morning the Ashley Furniture Pflugerville store called to apologize after reading review and offered to do anything to fix the situation. They offered me full refund of the mattress and scheduled pick-up of the mattress. She explained that my first few calls went directly to corporate and didn't get redirected to the store. Overall, I'm impressed by the promptness of the responses from Ashley Furniture. This does show that they do care about feedback and customer satisfaction. While I still think we should've been advised about the potential safety issues of the products we bought, and corporate customer care dept should have listened to our concerns, I do want to revise the rating since the store did help fix the situation. read more

I purchased a sectional couch on 12/19 that is discontinued. I was told that there might be an issue with the corner wedge since there was only one left. I was super excited that on the 23rd it was set to be delivered and there were no issues with that piece. When it was dropped off, it was immediately evident there was an issue with the configuration. I told the driver and he said "sorry it's yours". He told me I had 72 hours to report an issue and left. I called the store immediately and even though the number is a 512, it sends you to a call center. There is no way to reach the store. I spent 20 minutes on the phone with someone who basically told me I got what I ordered and that he couldn't help me. I had explained I knew I got what I ordered but obviously it had been entered incorrectly and I needed to exchange the two end pieces since they faced the wrong way. He said I would need to contact the store. I asked how am I supposed to do that when the store number directed me to him. He said to hang up and push 3 for the store. There is no option 3... I then went to the store since there was obviously no one to speak to via phone. I met with one of the sales people who brought in his manager and they were very nice. Said since it was Saturday the business offices were closed and because Christmas was Monday, I would get a call on Tuesday. I in fact did not get a call on Tuesday and my husband went back in the store on Wednesday to find out what the situation was. He was told they were unable to find the parts needed to fix their error and I would get a call that day. He was then instructed to leave through the side door, not the front door. I got a call shortly after telling me I had to come in and reselect. I let them know I had wanted this couch from them and only this couch. The salesperson suggested another model and I went to the Cedar Park location to take a look at it to try and keep an open mind. I was also instructed to use the side entrance by the Mardel bookstore? I went through the front door and looked at the model suggested by the salesperson as well as every other couch on the floor and found them all to be not what I was looking for in my new home. I let the salesperson know and said I needed the couch picked up ASAP because I had movers coming and they would be bringing my old couch over to the new house instead (also an Ashley couch). He said I had only been authorized for an exchange and he'd talk to his manager and have them call me. I got no phone call that day (12/27). I received and email the following day with some information about coming in to reselect. I spoke to the salesperson again letting him know I wouldn't be picking anything else out and I wanted them to come pick up the unit but he did not respond. I replied to the email but it is apparently not monitored even though there's no indication of that on the correspondence and it said if I had an issue to contact customer service or chat. Since I had such a bad experience with customer service the last time, I opted for chat and no one ever responded to my request. On the evening of the 31st I received a call from my original salesperson saying he had just heard about my exchange. I reinforced it was not an exchange and I wanted the unit picked up. He said when the offices opened in the morning, he would try and find the two pieces needed to configure my set the correct way. The next morning he called me back and let me know he was unable to find them and said I would need to contact customer service. When I hung up with him, I called the number he provided and spoke to a woman who took all my information and then said she couldn't help me and someone from the store would call me back within three hours. That was two days ago. I have since disputed the charge with my bank because I keep getting the run around from the store as well as customer service regarding the wrong pieces being ordered. I understand the couch is discontinued but the unit I have is a useable set but simply will not fit in my house. I have never had such a hard time resolving an issue with a store before. Bought a $500 framed print. After hanging it on our wall, a few days later the screws (that came with it) ripped out of the frame and the large frame fell. We called for a refund since this was a defective product and everyone we talked to said that all sales are final and they can't help us. We had a large furniture order with them and canceled it because we can't work with a company that sells defective products and does not offer to replace or refund them if they break or are defective. Do not buy from this store. I have been waiting on a piece of furniture for 8 months now. That would have been fine if they told me that from the start. However they told me it would be 3 months initially. When they finally delivered the items, two pieces were broken. Then they told me to store it in my home until they could replace it. They then scheduled a replacement delivery only to bring me another broken piece of furniture. Now they are telling me that I have to wait another 4 months for delivery. Had I known, I would have gone to another furniture seller and paid more. Will never buy from this store again! read more

I would give them 0 stars if I could. We bought a mattress from them- a stearns and foster- $3500 . And decided the next day to pursue the warranty on our existing mattress and cancel our purchase. It has been nothing but a run around, many phone calls, long telephone times to get to a person, and down right the worst service we have ever received. 1 call was even 1.5 hours long because the foreign agent ( barley understandable) kept offering us discounts to keep the mattress. First he said he would discount the mattress by $150. If we kept it. Then we declined the offer and said he needed to get approval from his manager. Would come back and then offered us a $164 if we kept it. Then same drill he would need to get approval to cancel the order, came back with a discount of $250, then put us on hold when we declined the offer to go talk to manager. Came back with another offer of $640 to keep the mattress,When I was getting angry playing this game, I told him for the 5th time we wanted to cancel. Again put on hold to talk to his manager about canceling and said he would cancel but I would need to call back tomorrow to get a cancellation .Basically getting nowhere. Ext I decided to call the store. Sandy answered the phone and I asked to talk to the store manager which I never did get to talk to. First she asked why and I told her what happened with the last phone call. She then said my phone was breaking up which is highly unlikely because I was calling from my land line. Then she said she would call me back and after 1 hour, I called back again and the girl that answered the phone again was Sandy. She said she didn't call back because I hung up before she could confirm my number- lie 2. She must not have had call Id. and I had already given her my number when she asked for my number to lookup my order. She stated she would cancel and take care of everything. Even the financing. Well we have received 10 calls from them that they were delivering our mattress tomorrow. I called back again with the number on the voice and emails and was must on hold forever and finally reached someone to cancel the delivery. They showed it never was canceled- Sandys 3rd lie.I had my husband call the store again, and same run around. This time he was on his cell phone and Sandy said the same thing his phone was breaking up- lie 4. She said it was not canceled because it was on the manifest and now she would cancel it and also with the financing. Lie5- she said the same thing 2 days ago to me. The unfortunate thing about this,is we had planned to buy that mattress if it did not work out with pursuing the warranty on our old one. But this has been time consuming, and worst customer service, and we will never step foot in the store again. read more

Went in on a Friday, and had no hassle, no haggling, no problems with the sales staff. We walked the floor, and were pleasantly greeted by a salesman, who didn't pressure us into buying anything we didn't need. Found the whole experience to be very positive. While they had a computer glitch at one point, that got solved by moving to another terminal, and several visits from floor managers. But it got moving fast. I ordered a mattress to be delivered on the day I close on my new house, and will have the rest of the furniture delivered. It's all on layaway, which they were happy to help me with. I'll update my review once the furniture has been delivered and we've experienced enough of it to be used. I don't have any opinion, other than the quality of the furniture and the colors that were chosen to be spot-on. Next review coming - hopefully it won't be scathing! read more

This was my first time coming here, I wasn't really impressed at all. Everything looked alike and it was really overpriced. I understand that the staff works on commission, but it was so annoying, we could barely walk around before someone asking us if we need help. We bought the furniture for the entire home including a $4000 tempurpedic mattress from Ashley Homestore in the first week of September 2021 during Labor Day sale. We were told that we'd get our entire order within 6-8 weeks due to the pandemic. It's already Feb 2022 and we still haven't received half of the stuff. And that's after calling the store at least a dozen times to split up the order as items became available. If you don't do that, the company will only send everything once everything is in stock. The sectional sofa is not even 4 months old and two of the cushions have loft their firmness to the extent where it hurts if you sit down too fast. Very disappointed with the furniture quality and service. Please shop else where. read more

I said I would never purchase anything from Ashley Furiture again. Well 10 years later, I did. i regret it.... We purchased a Temperpedic bed with all the bells and whistles. Again, sales person got his commission and could care less after.... Our bed showed up, put together and the leg/frame is bent.. the guys the put it together didn't even tell us. I called within the hour of them delivering and putting it together. Took the regional mgr to get someone out To even look at it, but I had to get mad before he did that. They thought it was just screwed in wrong. Well.. the frame is bent. Had to order another one. Grrr. It was to be delivered 2/10. Note. Have had to make different sleeping arrangements. Sales person and Regional mgr did not care! We got notice now the bed won't be delivered 2/11..... again, nothing from Ashley, but. Oh, I'm sorry. read more

Well today was the third time I scheduled a delivery for a bookcase I ordered in October. Now I get a text message that it will not be delivered. I called the number and got an automated response saying it will be another 5-7 weeks before they can deliver. This is the worst experience in being furniture in my life!!! I will never recommend Ashley to anyone! I keep getting promises and all are lies! I understand the supply chain issues and covid have an impact but don't promise a deliver three different times and then tell me the item is on backorder. read more
