I went in to look at couches, ended up buying two and having them delivered. I barely got the packing off before i started seeing horrific quality control issues, I've spent the last two weeks trying to schedule a pickup and the only thing I can figure out is Im having to wait on the store manager to approve my return before anything else can happen. They keep saying they'll reach out but no one does, their service and support line at the store goes straight to voicemail, i even went in and they said it's a 30% restocking fee, which i totally get if it was just a return but these couches have nails coming out of the back and that is insane. Sales was fine, the problem we have is with our very expensive leather sofa set. Took 2 months to get a repair person out for a recliner repair, which didn't fix it. Then another recliner mechanism failed. Tech said he'd order 2 new parts. Five months and four phone calls later, still no parts and NEVER a return call which they promised each time to update us on status. Still waiting. Note I am in Pewaukee WI, not NY. Anyway, I had a stove delivered by appliance mart, not only was my delivery guy rude, his middle name was cash.. lmao.. I almost lost my breakfast.. his middle name is cash.. I believe his first name was Josh or Jacob. I asked them if they were going to install my stove.. no they didn't have the right connector, but my understand was that if I had CASH they would install it, although I already paid to get it installed. zero customer service. I will never shop there again. I spent over $5000 and one $200 part that did not fit they would not give me a refund. You would think if you spent that much they would want to retain a customer. In addition when I walked into the store, I had to wait 10 minutes with five people sitting around before someone came to tell me that they weren't going to help me. Avoid at all costs. If you're thinking of buying something, ask and get details about their return policy before you spend a dime It was a trim kit for a microwave that I brought back that was an obvious misfit, and it was a misfit due to incompetence of not getting the right one. I purchased a stove from this furniture place in March 2025. It's now July 20 25 and they still haven't resolved my issue due to damages on the stove. I reached out to them and asked if I can be compensated for the amount of time I waited they told me no Today. I was supposed to have a delivery. They never showed up. They didn't call me back. I had to call them back to ask them what was going on with my stove parts and the only thing she could tell me was sorry for the inconvenience. I've been inconvenienced for a long time. could not get the $200 rebate to go through because I did not have delivery yet to due to the new construction; the exact serial numbers were required and the store could not supply those. When I went into the store to get help to submit before the due date, I had all the forms ready to submit, but there wasn't any staff in appliances on a Monday at 1pm. A manger helped and called appliance sales and was told that it wasn't necessary to submit as it was new construction. I even had them sign paperwork to stating that. Now that we are due for delivery, I am told by that salesperson that that is not true and it had to be submitted. I was respectful as a fellow salesman's yet Krista hung up on me and took no responsibility but said I had to fight it out w management. Very disappointing service! read more

My shopping experience was awesome due to the assistance of Tomasi the room consultant. I unfortunately had to return the furniture I purchased because the delivery team could not get it inside my home without damaging it. I was charged a restock fee and delivery fee as stated on the contract since I couldn't find a new set that same day. I tried to contact customer care to find out if I could have a credit for the restock fee because I'd still like to purchase furniture from the store. I was told by a customer care associate that he would follow up with me (September 23rd) within a few days, well today is October 21st. I called customer care and I was given the run around and I was spoken to very rudely by a claims department associate. My boyfriend and I came into Ashley because I saw a dining room set I liked online and wanted to see what kind of selection they had in the store. When we got there we were greeted by Doug and he asked if we needed any help to which we stated we were just browsing for a table and wanted to look around. Doug then approached us two more times, attempting to sell us on custom fabric couches when we had already stated we were just looking for dining tables. He also made a comment on how my boyfriend should be proud that I "admitted" I was with him when he offered us both his business card. The entire time we were there we felt like we had to hide from him to avoid being confronted again. Good selection, TERRIBLE customer service. Ordered nightstand and living room set with leather couch, loveseat, and recliner. Nightstand delivered first but was damaged. Delivery man said Ashley would call with replacement details. They did not call. Called them and the best they said they could do is a replacement in 14 weeks. 3 1/2 months sure makes me feel like a priority. Then, after a 6 week wait on living room furniture, they called the day of the delivery with a broken down truck and couldn't make the delivery. Best they could offer was in 5 days. I had just finished moving old furniture out, now have nothing in the living room to sit on for 5 days. When the company I work for has a broken down truck, they rent from Ryder or hire a private service to fill in. We might be late, but we do everything we can to get it there. Just moved to the area and needed a dining set and a couch/sleeper for a medium sized apartment. Went to Ashley furniture and found both. Have filled a previous house with Ashley Furniture and knew what to expect. Good, decent quality furniture at reasonable prices. The sales person at this store (Barb) was very helpful and not pushy. I ended up picking up a dining set from the floor display and went out of my comfort zone and bought a sleeper chaise that was an internet only purchase. Normally I wouldn't go that route because I'm picky about comfort but the dimensions of the couch/ chaise was perfect for an apartment and I liked the clever design of the sleeper function at a bargain price. The material and design were clean an attractive upon arrival. The couch is firm but not uncomfortable and the chaise portion is shorter than most, but I accepted that compromise because a full size would have overwhelmed the room. Also, most sleepers are very heavy and normally uncomfortable. This one has a unique folding mechanism that I really like and the firmness of the cushions makes it a great bed that fits a 6 footer comfortably . Carla our office person was very knowledgeable and helpful. She was very efficient. We ordered 2 twin mattress. The delivery end of this experience was not very good. We waited 2 weeks for the delivery and then they brought only 1. We were told the next one would come the following week but it is not here yet. We went to another (difficult to spell, if ya catch mah drift) furniture store but was unimpressed with their price and selection. I went to Ashley and was amazed by all of the different options. I went in with the plan to buy two sofas and walked out with a convenient delivery date for those two sofas, and also an area rug and two lamps that I got an AMAZING deal on. I recently purchased new living room furniture from Ashley Furniture, Pewaukee, Wisconsin. The entire process with the Team was awesome. My Sales, Barb Rudzinski was excellent - she knows her stock and extremely efficient. After I ordered, there was some time before furniture was due to deliver. I fully understand the problems for companies in the Supply Chain now as I was a Contracting Officer with US Government. However, Barb did check with a follow-up, she would call and give me an update. If I had a question and Barb was not in, one of the Team members would help and give me information. The Service Dept was exceptionally organized and had an amazing system in place to track and report to customer of delivery. The delivery Team was right on time, unpacked items and placed them where I needed them. The entire process was outstanding. If I were still with US Govt, I would have rated the entire performance by everyone as Outstanding. I highly recommend this great Team. Thanks to all. read more

Went there on 8/11 and purchased a couch and selected delivery date of 8/19. Got a call a few days before that delivery would be after 12 pm. Disposed of couch we had day before delivery. Took day off work to be there (I have job that can't take partial days off). At 9 am got a call from delivery company that it was sent to wrong location and now out of stock and would not be delivered until 9/4. Unacceptable. I left a message for manager to call me back. Never received a call back. Called sales person. He took info and said he'd find out what happened and what could be done and he'd call us back. He didn't. 2 more calls/messages were unreturned. The 3rd call back I got "lucky" and he answered phone ... said he had a list of people to call back and he was "probably going to call you." Probably?? On phone for 30 minutes with him, most of it on hold, only for him to tell me that "these things happen" because the furniture is so popular. No, I don't care how popular it is, when I pay for a couch and select a delivery date that couch should be reserved for me and me alone. If it got sent to the wrong location, get it back. Simple. He offered no compromise, discount. Personally had I not disposed of my couch in anticipation of delivery (which I had been called the day before and had an email asking me to confirm I'd be home for delivery) and wasted a day off of work, it wouldn't have been so bad, but now I don't have a couch for over 2 weeks?? 4 weeks from my original purchase? I told him to cancel the order. A google search found this same couch at various other stores. We purchased it elsewhere with free delivery (Ashley's charges $115) and saved $282. I've had Ashley's furniture before but they don't have a clue how to treat customers so I will never go back. read more

Customer service? I bought a new Serta Blue 300 king mattress from Ashley furniture in Pewaukee. The problem is that I bought it in the closeout/clearance center. 2 weeks of sleeping on this thing, and I come to find that it is literally the most uncomfortable mattress that I've ever slept on. I hurt in the morning from this thing. Ready to go back to my 22 year old Verlo. It is better. Called Serta to see if there was some type of consideration for an exchange, and was told that there is nothing that they will do. Ashley said the same. Over 1000 dollars for garbage!! I purchased a sectional, coffee table, end table, and four stools from the Ashley Furniture HomeStore in Pewaukee, WI. Ruth was great and helped me pick out all my furniture. But the delivery experience I had with this company was atrocious. I scheduled my delivery a month out from my move hoping that would give me enough time to receive my items on time. All the items arrived on time except for one stool. I was told by the customer service representative that it was the manufacturers fault not Ashley's. Ashley then scheduled delivery three separate times. I still don't have a stool. Each time the delivery is set, I get a phone call from a customer service representative saying the delivery needs to be rescheduled for some vague reason. The last time I was rescheduled I made sure to tell them that my movers were coming on a specific day and that the stool needed to be delivered. Ashley reassured me it would be delivered. Once again, no stool. After being on hold for over 20 minutes, the representative said there was nothing the company could do. He even spoke to his director Mike who refused to give me a refund even though I've had to block off 4 hours of my day multiple times to wait for this one stool that kept getting cancelled. Ashley's customer service is horrible. I will not recommend this company to anyone and I will never purchase furniture from them again. Purchasers beware. read more

I ordered a rocker recliner chair from Ashley through Amazon in October 2015. Four years later the chair is falling apart. It is taken care of perfectly. I called Amazon and told them the problem, they did a three way call with Ashley, the Amazon rep Colt was very nice trying to help me, Ashley customer service was rude and said it's Amazon's problem. Amazon said it's Ashley 's problem and I just keep getting a run around. The kick stand does not want to work it takes 3 minutes just to close it. You think they would send me a replacement chair or at least a refund but no. Nothing. Not a great company!!! read more

Multiple issues with delivery of furniture I paid for. My wife and I burned vacation days just to have them cancel our delivery the day of. Received half of my order on the second delivery date. They were not sure why some of our furniture wasn't on the truck and didn't know where it could be. Today was the third scheduled delivery date. Canceled again. New excuse each time. Our fourth scheduled delivery date is for tomorrow. I do not work from home, so this is an issue. The salesman, Tom at the Pewaukee location, was great. He was extremely helpful. Many, many issues after we paid for the delivery of the furniture. I just read a previous review from several months ago and it sounds like the same story. I still have around $2,000 worth of furniture that is supposedly sitting on a truck somewhere. I don't have enough vacation days to shop at Ashley anymore. read more

You must have your furniture out for them to bring new furniture in. Was scheduled on the 7th. Took off work and they rescheduled. Told me they needed another 2 weeks! Tried to talk to management and they will pass you around like hot potatoe. No one in customer service cares. I was sent to the assistant manager in the pewaukee store who wouldn't let me finish explaining they rescheduled twice and was super hot and rude and started to tell me to read my paperwork that nothing is guaranteed. WOW! How she is in customer relations is beyond me. They don't care if you get your furniture out and are sitting home while taking off work if they are going to come or not. We bought a leather couch from Ashley in March. It developed a stain on it and a tech came out to fix it. He did a poor job. 2 of the cushions are lumpy and the fill doesn't reach the corners of the cushions. My biggest complaint with Ashley is that when you call customer care you are put on hold anywhere from 5-10 minutes and finally they tell you to leave your number and they will call you back. They NEVER call back. I am getting very frustrated in trying to get my couch fixed. I will never purchase anything from them again. read more
