I will start by saying--never do business here! I tried to cancel an order for lamps I bought. I was told that I had to wait until they were delivered and bring them back to the store for my refund. When I tried to return them they said I should have refused them when delivered, (they never told me that) They said I had only 3 days to return to get my refund. ( something else they never told me). I work and live 60 MI away and would have to come on the weekend--there goes my 3 days. I bought a sectional a few years back and they did not stand behind the warranty when one of the recliners did not work. Never again will I purchase anything from them nor will my friends or family. We were sold a $500 warranty for a couch we bought and it's literally impossible to get the claim filed because of all the "terms and conditions." We were told the warranty covered pet damage and turns out it doesn't. If you get a stain you have to report it right away and it can't be multiple stains. We love the couch but trying to deal with customer service has been quite a nightmare :( read more

They took money from my checking account more than once. When trying to get resolution was not able to get one same day and had to go through multiple avenues. When furniture was delivered and it was two different colors. Now trying to get them to pick up and get a refund for my purchase and have them pick up furniture AGAIN muli avenues and still not resolved!!!! Customer service refuses to let me speak with a supervisor ....I have been calling three days and still no resolution! Jarvis (the salesman) has been the ONLY person trying to get the issue resolved and he is not even able to get someone with Ashley to help us! Worse customer service. We bought a mattress and bed and were told the delivery would be the next day. Found out the bed was scheduled for April 12 from the automated phone service. Called the salesman, was turned over to the Asst. Manager and was told he would see what he could do about getting the delivery moved up. That was yesterday and haven't heard a word. Called the salesman back, no reply from him either. Seem we were good until we had an issue and now we are invisible. My in-laws are almost 90 and both have back issues. When you pay cash for an order in May and delivery is set for June, you'd think they could get it to you before August 20th. My prese was scheduled for delivery in June, then in July, then again in August. Just got a refund today because I still don't have it. The only way you can talk to a person is to go into the store - their automatic answering system hung up on me 4 times today. I'll never shop at Ashley Furniture Store again. The manager was rude, tried talking over, kept interrupting me, and then said I was being threatening. No. I was angry and upset. I told him I was going to write reviews. So here we are. Walked in today fully prepared to buy a sofa. I came in the door and the sales lady just stared at me. I walked over there and asked her about a smaller sofa because my space isn't very wide and she looked at me and said "we only have 90" or above." She didn't offer to let me look around, make any suggestions, or even show me anything online. It had the feeling that she didn't even want me to go onto the sales floor. This is my first time visiting this particular Ashley and I don't plan to ever go back. I'm furnishing a new 3 bedroom house right now and I can tell you I will not be purchasing anything from this store. I definitely recommend staying away from this place. I have an item delivered that was dropped from the truck by the delivery men. The item is broke. I'm trying to avoid leaving bad details on here. I was promised by the store for almost a month that I would get a replacement. However I can't get a call back. I can only get someone when I call there and more empty promises. The furniture that was delivered was as rickety as my great grandma's porch. We had to repair every single piece of this furniture. They did not respond to phone calls or emails. The wood frames have pulled fabric apart all kinds of holes in fabric around frame work. It only came with 1 yr warranty. But u spend $2000. U think it would last longer than 2 yrs . I bought a desk chair from them. Sales rep was nice in the store, I made a purchase. When it came time for delivery, the guys didn't want to get out of the truck because of my dogs. Fair enough, so I took the dogs inside to lock them up. While I was inside, the guys very hastily put the chair together in my driveway and were waiting at the door with it. They had me sign for it while one of them carried it in. He left it in the living room and left before I had a chance to inspect the chair. The armrests are broken, will not stay attached to the back of the chair (which is also a reclining chair, so the back moves without the support of the armrests, making the chair virtually unusable). The sales rep, Sade, gave me her number to call if there were problems and has not answered once. There is no number to call locally to actually speak with the people who sold me the chair. I don't think a technician can fix the internal pieces that are broken and I don't want the delivery guys bringing another chair to my house. I want my money back. read more

We bought a 3 piece set , couch, chair and love seat. A floor lamp shattered over my couch, less than a year old. It caused holes in one end of my reclining couch. It took almost 3 months to get someone out to look at it. Instead of replace they are only going to recover that end and leave the other as is. It will be like putting a new pocket on an old pair of blue jeans. This couch is under a year old. It is still under warranty and we stupidly took out a very expensive extra 3 year warranty plan. The couch is already showing wear. I will never buy from them again. The insurance company they use will give you a great run around. You can forget talking to any one in the store about it. I purchased a table for my mother on 09/05/2022. After NUMEROUS delays we finally got the text message to schedule delivery (Saturday before Thanksgiving). In preparing for delivery, we were to have the area the table was going to be placed cleared out so my mother sold her table to a neighbor in preparation. She waited around all day and then there was another generated text that was saying to schedule delivery. I called and advised we had already scheduled delivery and that it was to be delivered that day. The person on the phone advised, no, it would not be delivered until 12/03/2022 now. I advised what is my mother going to do with Thanksgiving on Thursday and she no longer has a table. Nothing was done regarding this so again it was scheduled for delivery the Saturday after Thanksgiving. My mother waited all day and they never showed again. This has been a terrible experience. I have spent so much time on the phone trying to deal with this. What was to be a gift to my mother was a complete disaster. Left 2 messages for the store manager Gail and never heard back. The customer service is terrible. You would think with all the issues and delays we were experiencing somebody would have taken this under their wing to have it resolved. NOPE! We have received a call today that it will be delivered (11/29/2022). Praying that this is the time, otherwise, I will ask for a refund and spend my hard earned money elsewhere. Mentioning when I placed the order the salesperson was having side bar conversations with another salesperson about how many deals he had that day. THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY IN JACKSON TN They messed up my billing after being told I would not receive a bill for 45 days after my last piece of furniture was delivered. I got billed out the day I bought the furniture instead. So my credit took a hit for 2 late payments that I had no idea about, and two late charges. Also when I finally got my furniture 2 months later than when they said it would arrive. My bed frame was broken, My dresser was broken and my headboard looked like the rubbed it through mud. After calling for weeks and being lied to over and over again by both managers I still have not received a call back. Nothing has been done to correct THEIR mistakes. I have called at least 20 times with no answer. I still haven't received the replacement furniture. At this point I will be taking them to small claims court. This is a pathetic excuse of a business and I wouldn't recommend anyone buying furniture from them. I hate I gave them the opportunity to even have a chance of selling me something. All they cared about was making a sale. Very unprofessional, ethical and flat out terrible would be still be too nice of comments on this business my only regret is that I cant leave them less than a 1 star review. Conley V. I went to Ashley's in Jackson last week to make a small purchase to keep my credit card open, as it has been a couple of years since I last used it. I hope to purchase quite a bit of new furniture next year. I purchased a vase and six fake flower stems. They looked good in the store, but once I got them home, as is often the case, they did not work. I contacted Ashley's today to see if I could return the stems. I was told by the sales associate that Jackson has a no return policy. I asked her how I was to know that as it is not on my receipt nor posted anywhere in the store; nor did the person who sold the items to me mention it. The lady taking my call was apparently new because she asked me to hold on while she found out my answer. When she returned to the call, she said that at the time I purchased the items and signed/initialed the paperwork, one of the places where I signed my initials states that items cannot be exchanged, canceled, or returned. According to her, they have a no return policy because all the furniture in the store is clearance and last act. WHO KNEW? Certainly not me! The prices do not reflect this and neither does anything printed in the store. I politely thanked her and told her I did not know that Ashley was that sort of business; and ended the call. I accept blame for trusting the salesperson's explanation of what I was initialing, but I am appalled at the underhanded business tactics of what I thought was a reputable seller. I no longer care about keeping the credit card open, I will not do business with them again. They are not trustworthy, and I feel you should know how they operate and what you're actually purchasing before you buy from them again. UPDATE As you can see, a representative from Ashley responded to my review. I emailed the information they requested, and have NOT received a call. Friendly staff, affordable and nice furniture

Spent over $1700 on a love seat sofa combo, bone white. Received the Love seat first big black stain on left hand corner, could not return per company policy had to have repaired in house this took weeks and constant calls to company. Sofa arrived at a later date, and we expected it to arrive later than love seat, this time we had them unpack sofa to inspect, and again another large area just stained black, so we sent it back. constantly in touch with company, now trying to tell us that item is on layaway, even though we have paid for it fully in beginning, not even sure when or if sofa will arrive. their company rep is of no help, we are still fighting to get sofa. We have dealt with Ashley before in California and had a great experience with them. The Jackson Ashley outlet obviously does not care or respect us enough to just conclude this process. Our sofa was cancelled by Ashley, and the refund is close to $200.00 less then we paid for sofa, We are now having to go through the buying process again as there is not another sofa that will match our love seat. read more

My husband and I spent WAY TOO MUCH MONEY buying furniture for our new house at the JACKSON LOCATION. You would think with that kind of money spent in their store they would have had better customer service. Our rep ordered us the wrong loveseat (one that wasn't even displayed to us) then tried to blame me on the phone to my husband. They broke our coffee table the first time they tried to deliver it. After fighting back and forth to get the loveseat we ordered instead of crediting us the 500 we spent extra on a loveseat we didnt order THEY CHARGED US FOR IT. They never answer or call back when we try to sort out the situation or rep Ashley was not helpful and never answered the phones. I've been forwarded all over and ironically nobody can help, and now were stuck with additional charges that we were not supposed to have and furniture that really wasn't worth the hassle. I wish we would have spent our money somewhere else and will NEVER shop through Ashley homestore ever again. Don't waste your time or money. read more

Id rate this place 0 stars 100 times if I could. They sold me a "leather recliner" for a discount if i paid cash. They wanted "cash cash" so I had to go to the bank to withdraw cash so I'm assuming as a business owner myself that they could mark something it off and get paid for it. Then it comes in, fake leather. I go back and they can mail me a check from Canada that will take 3 weeks to a month. I have to go to the bank but have to wait a month to get my money back. Unfortunately, I have to agree with many of the other low-ratings on these reviews. I have spent several thousand dollars with Ashley over the years and most recently purchased a sectional. Delivery was 3-4 weeks out and on the day of delivery learned that it would be an ADDITIONAL 5 weeks before delivery. Furthermore, they got my order wrong. Spoke to three people at corporate who pushed me back to the Jackson store and three people at the Jackson store, none of whom have been willing to call me back or solve my problem. Ashleigh and Hunter were my sales people. Very nice at the sale, but no problem-solving, even after speaking to and leaving messages with the manager, Jennifer. Their CUSTOMER SERVICE is PATHETIC. You would think they could at least pay an entry level receptionist to answer their phones. It would be worth paying the extra at a local store just for the customer service valuing that Ashley is missing. read more

They explained what they had from the least to the best and asks what we were looking for. They took us directly to what we ask for. The salesperson did not push us into purchasing the item but the price was close to what we expected so we purchased the item. Everyone was very nice and we were in and out within an hour. If it was possible, I'd list zero stars at this point in time. I had a sectional quoted to me on 3/31/15, by the RETAIL SALES MANGER William. They told me the price/sale would be good for 10 days and eligible for 12 months interest free. I went back on Saturday, 4/4/15 and upon dealing with the store manager, Dave, I paid in full and placed my order. According to Dave, they under priced the sectional, which is not my fault. This item was an out-of-system sectional and they had to verify that they could receive it. Since taking my payment, IN FULL, Ashley-Jackson has made ZERO communication attempts with me. I called 4/7/15 and was told Dave was off. I called Saturday, 4/11/15, 7 days after PAYMENT IN FULL, and Dave was busy. He had the receptionist call me back and inform me that the Sales Representative for the sectional was on vacation this 1st week and he would be back Monday, 4/13/15, and at that time Dave would contact him immediately and follow up with me. No call received. I called Ashley 4/15/15, Wednesday, and Dave was busy on the floor but the receptionist said she would inform Luke and have him check on my order. I specifically told her to have Luke call and follow up with me. NO CALL was received from LUKE. Here we are Friday, 4/17/15, 13 days after Ashley/Dave-Store Manager accepted my PAYMENT IN FULL, and I've yet to hear anything except that the Sectional's Sales Representative was on vacation and has been very busy and Dave hasn't been able to speak with him yet. This is my first attempt to buy anything ASHLEY, from this store or any other. At this point I am VERY DISAPPOINTED. The lack of professionalism and integrity is pitiful from such a large organization. If they could not sale at the price quoted, they should have told me this upfront. But instead, they've wasted my time and tied my MONEY up for 13 days to date. At this point, I'd be surprised if they've made any effort what so ever to do anything except dodge my calls. This is an update from my original 5 star review. I did initially give 5 stars for the customer service, but be forewarned- once they have your payment-all bets are off. We ordered a headboard prior to the pandemic and it was the wrong headboard. The store manager stated it was a mistake in the tags placed on the in-store items. We went down to the store and spoke with Destiny. She said she would take care of it. Apparently, this happened to quite a few people. After a couple of weeks went by, we contacted corporate. They confirmed that our information was in the system but Destiny didn't complete the reorder. We were referred back to the local store. After 3 calls and left messages for Destiny, if that is her real name, we gave up. We have a paid for headboard that we never picked out. Beware of the previous reviews here- I wish I had. There is a serious problem with the ordering side of this store. They will not correct their errors and the customer is left with product they did not pick out. Very bad service after the sale. I would recommend you take your hard earned money to any other home/furniture store in Jackson, TN. Do not give your hard earned money to Ashley in Jackson, TN. They do not care about the customer. Bought what we thought was a lovely dining room table with 6 pub chairs. Upon delivery the table was broken on two edges of the table (opposite ends) 5 of the barstools were unlevel and one was broken. Deliverymen stated that they would replace and have delivered. We asked them to take the set back however was not in their policy to do so until the other would be delivered, was told to call the location to follow up on. I called immediately after their departure. Person for which answered was very rude and stated "well you signed for it and accepted it" I explained, '' no, I haven't accepted anything" and was then was told " we don't refund nor exchange" and was hung up on. I have called 12 times since and with calling the home office with no resolution whatsoever. It has now been 2 months. At this point all I want is my money back. we have been more than patient to receiving a replacement but they will not even do that for us. We keep getting the runaround. Paying over $1,800 for a table and chairs which is faulty is just too much with dishonest and rude customer service!!!!! read more

Ashley Furniture has the worst customer and product service I ever experienced! Further, the horrible service I experienced was at my eight-year old son's expense. I went to Ashley Furniture to purchase my son's first real bed. After I submitted my order, they delivered the wrong color bed to my residence. When I called the store to address this issue, they made it seem like it was my fault, saying that I chose that color bed. This was untrue. In an effort to rectify the issue, my sales person, Gail, directed me to customer solutions. Customer solutions did not help me and instead gave me the "run around." I finally spoke with a manager and we agreed that I will get the bed I originally ordered in thirty days. Thirty days came and went and still no bed. I called the store and again, I was directed to customer solutions. Finally, they admitted that they made a mistake and the bed will be at the distribution center, but told me it would be another 30 days before the bed would be in stock. They told me to speak with a store representative. I spoke with Darrell, another store manager, who told me that he would send me a check in the mail for the inconvenience and it would take a couple weeks to be delivered. That was over six weeks ago and I still have not received my $100.00 check, despite the fact that I have spent thousands on this company for NO product. It took Ashley Furniture over two months to deliver a bed for my eight-year old son. Seemingly, this company has no regard for any body's time or money and I will definitely not be purchasing anything from them again. read more

We ordered June 11 from Ashley Furniture in Jackson, TN. We had a moving sale sold most of our furniture, moved into our new house expecting furniture to arrive as scheduled....we were never told that deliveries were delayed, they assured us our furniture would arrive as scheduled. BUT....Our order was so screwed up we had to go back to the store a month later (7/15) to fix the whole order, when we should have been getting furniture instead because that was the date we were told our delivery was coming. We have gotten 2 partial deliveries with missing pieces of everything (so we're basically warehousing the products)....King headboard and foot board, no rails...2 full foot board and rails, no headboard...a piece of our couch, missing 2 other pieces...Dining table, no chairs.... Not to mention, we received the wrong dining table on the first order that didn't even get put together (now to be exchanged 9/9, when supposedly they grabbed the wrong one at the warehouse on 7/22). Still waiting on TV stand, coffee & end tables, chairs, bar stools, desk, mirrors, dresser, sofa table, parts of king and full beds and couch and correct dining table. We already have month long gaps in between delivery dates (8/26 & 9/16) for the remaining products. Now we're receiving automated texts saying deliveries are being delayed farther out due to COVID. We went to Ashely to buy a chest of drawers. They did not have the one we wanted in stock, but did show it on the website. The web price was better than the store price would have been, and they ordered it at the lower price. The pick up process was explained and it arrived exactly 1 week after it was ordered. We have purchased from Ashley in the past and will again. Good quality, good prices. Can't beat that combination. read more

We ordered a Kitchen table in Oct. we were told we would have by the holidays. We debated going to Ashley because of a delivery issue we had the previous year on delivery and lack of communication on why the order was not being delivered, but decided to give them another chance found a table we loved explained our concern because of the previous order and were told it wouldn't be a problem this time. Well we are now without a table for x-mas and are having a house full of relatives for dinner. Oh sure they have called every time the table has been pushed out now the third time to Dec 27th .oh they have communicated that the table is not coming, but with no concern or urgency even though we explained we needed for Christmas. In fact they will call and say I know you wanted this by Christmas but it been pushed out again.... its just this table nothing we can do. Well you didn't mention an issue with THIS table when we ordered it in fact you saw no problems with it being delivered well before the holiday. But here we are less than two weeks before Christmas and we have to get our old table back from someone we gifted too. So that we have one for the family that is coming. I am beyond angry and disappointed. DO NOT COUNT ON THIS COMPANY WHEN YOU ARE IN NEED they want the commission off your sale and have no concern with you after that.
