Be warned. There is a sales woman here that is very overbearing and has questionable sales…read morepractices. Within only a few minutes of entering, she made us all feel uncomfortable while we were looking at furniture. We ended up leaving the store quickly. A week later when I found a bed we wanted was in stock at that location, we went back in only to buy the bed and leave. Unfortunately she served us again. Since I was only buying it and leaving, I chose to let her check us out. Big mistake. First she tried to charge me for an extended service agreement without asking. When I heard the total price and then told her I don't need the warranty she went on and on about how people are always disappointed they don't buy one and how if it were her she'd buy one. I finally had to interrupt her and say I really am not interested. Then when she removed that charge and gave me the total again it was still wrong. Charging me over $100 more than what I should have paid. When I questioned it, she insisted that that price was correct. I had to show her with the calculator app on my phone what the cost should be with Tax. She said it must be her computer acting up "again" and called over a co-worker to ring it up on another register. It turned out she was selling me the wrong bed! Without apologizing she said she just typed in the wrong SKU. If I hadn't been watching closely I could have paid for it and not even realize it until later (if ever). Hope this isn't a common practice here. After all of that, we couldn't get out fast enough. I will say, though, that she did come out and apologize as I was loading the bed in our vehicle. I gave the store a second star only because it had the bed we wanted in stock, when another store in town had a 5 month wait. The bed was very nice and met our expectations. Just be very cognizant of the checkout process should you decide to buy your furniture from here.

First we get told by the warranty place that they don't warranty for this furniture store. Then we are told 6+ months later that they don't make our set anymore. The warranty they offer evidently isn't worth the paper it's written on because there is absolutely nothing they could do about it except charge us more for a different set which was nicer more expensive which I understand and was willing to pay more but not full price more. But the store manager told us that all she was worried about was getting her bonus. The regional manager would not offer any kind of discount for us except pay for another warranty which remember isn't good for anything. Moral of the story I would rate this place a -2/10. The only reason I gave it one star is because I couldn't post this review without it

No one has ever explained mattresses to us till we met Jason. He took his time and showed us different ones and educated us. We left with a lot to think about. We visited a few more stores which were disappointing after our experience with Jason. The following week we went back to see Jason and bought the mattresses. They are great and very comfortable. I bought a sectional a few years back and they did not stand behind the warranty when one of the recliners did not work. Never again will I purchase anything from them nor will my friends or family. Royal Furniture has a pretty good selection and the sales person was very nice. Ordered a bed on a Saturday. Was promised I could pick it up on Tuesday. I called Monday to check on it. Was told to arrive after 11:30. Arrived Tuesday at 1:30 with a Uhaul to pick up the bed. Rude warehouse worker told me it wasn't in and asked me if I had been called to let me know they had it. I responded that I called Monday and was told it would be there. He was unable to help. Found the original salesperson in the store. He looked in his computer and apologized and told me it was still in the warehouse in Memphis and they will get it in the next day. Got a call the next day from the sales manager. The bed still was not delivered to the store from Memphis. According to the manager, they had 8 beds in stock and all are damaged and won't have new ones for 5 months. Went back and got a refund. Found a similar bed in another furniture store in town for $70 less and it was in stock. Obviously Royal Furniture has a poor inventory and communication system. Will not be back.
