    Lift top Cocktail table broken

    I have decided to give Asley Furniture Willow brook a two-star rating. We recently bought a lift top cocktail table in September 2025. It was delivered on October 2, 2025. We loved it at first until the one of the lift brackets collapsed and the screws fell out when we lifted for a friend on the third time. I made a claim on October 3 which was all an animated virtual service agent, which I hated. I went through the process they needed. By the way, there are no courtesy calls, and they think that we all sit by our phones waiting for emails which never happen. I had the difficult task of researching online to find their customer service email customerservice@ashleytdg.ca because they were dragging their feet on replacing it. I emailed them on October 12, 2025, and even cc'd the salesman, Shayne Griffin. Who I called earlier to inform him, and he said he would check with his manager. Never heard back from him or the manager of the store. When I emailed them informed them of my experience and asked for a refund. On October 15, I finally received an email from customer service not a courtesy call that they were going to replace the table. By the way, they told me I could not get a refund which was not true and not stated in their contract. It does say no refunds on things purchased off the floor, picked up, clearance items or special orders. None of the this applied to what we purchased. The table was finally delivered on October 16 and now I pray that I do NOT have to go through this horrible experience again. I will never ever buy from this company again.

    STAY AWAY...... first time I Purchased Ashley furniture ... the in store search went fine, and the salesperson was attentive. I purchased the sofas in March and purchased the warranty due to all the mechanical recliners. (Just as much as a recliner) Received the sofas in May (wasn't an issue) visually and checking after set up looked fine. Came home later that day and sat on recliner. The port was broken and my back is at a slant (both issues weren't visible at set up) Here's where the issue began.... You CANNOT GET a hold of a person... everything is done virtually and online. Had to make a few tickets because it will time you out or upload specific photos etc. Well I completed a full ticket and got a notification that a representative will phone in 48 hours. NO CALL was ever received but the port replacement came in the mail. Paper said call to set up a tech call.... I called and it was automated again... I don't know how but after hours and all kinds of numbers I got a hold of a representative. She said the ticket was closed and helped me out... fast forward tech never came. I called someone again and the representative Hannah was very apologetic and said they closed it out due to incomplete file... (their error) After 45 mins on call she reopened ticket and we set another date for June 27 and the technician will also fix the back.... Day before still no text confirmations... I emailed Hannah again and she asked who told me the technician was coming on the 27.... I was furious and responded with YOU. Again she said they ordered more parts to assure the problem is fixed and cancer the home appointment..... no further response, no communication, and still no damn technician. THEY CAN COME PICK IP THIS DAMN RECLINER AND SHOVE IT

    We purchased furniture and had it delivered....every single piece was damaged.....I reached out to them immediately and than headed to the store the same day when they didn't respond. It took them until March for someone to finally come out after I reached out to them multiple times. They want to fix my furniture??? I didn't buy repaired furniture, I bought new furniture. I guess I really bought damaged furniture..... Ashley, I still haven't heard back from you when you visited; just come pick up your garbage; I'll spend more money with Mattress Mac..

    I search long and hard for a nice couch. I really wanted went to Ashley Furniture, the salesman was helpful. Set an a lot of couches wanted this one. It was delivered my neighbor received it while I was working. There is no apparent damage. The fabric is very scratchy. I've tried to live with it. I finally complained when I noticed all these other faults and it has been months of calling sending pictures. I think I feel like I will go away but I'm not the customer service has created a nightmare for me. Today I'm supposed to have a technician come, so I takeoff work don't get paid and half the day is gone and no one's even called me. This is a joke, right? I knew I should've gone to Gallery furniture.

    I've visited this store 4 times, various days and times and I have never been assisted. Not one sales person, male, female, old or young has ever said can I help you. I've been passed over for families and couples. I experienced this treatment in the 80s when buying a car and again in the 90s when buying a home. The buying power of the single professional female is immense, and they are missing this market if this behavior or lack of it is the norm. I called the store twice requested the manager. I was on hold 20min ltr. Terrible service!

    I wish I could give a 0 star but it has been a very poor service from Ashley. I ordered a dining table from their store in Tomball Parkway. Firstly, the delivery was late. Later the delivery guys found out that the warehouse sent incorrect parts due to which they could not assemble the table. They left all the parts (unassembled) and told us that the replacement part would be delivered in next 2 days. However something did not sound right to me, so I called the sale representative who helped us with the table in the store, and he was not helpful at all. He said there is nothing he could do and I needed to call the customer service. The customer service was not aware of this situation at all and told me that they would now order the replacement part that would take 7 to 10 days ( I called the customer service again the same day only to find out that the part would not be available until November). On asking if I would at least receive an email confirmation about what we just spoke about, the guy on call was rude and told me that there is nothing he can do and I should trust him with what ever information he provides. So here I am. I have guests coming in 2 days and I have no idea if I will ever receive all the parts for my dining table. I am never going back to Ashley for my furniture. Seems like they only care about selling their product, they do not take any responsibility of the delivery and assembly once the product has been sold.

    How is this location in business. Or Ashley for that fact. We've spent $3400. Day of delivery and no calls. We've called multiple times. The one time I've got a hold of someone they put me on hold and nobody ever answered again. I've been on hold on 3-4 different phones with multiple phone calls for hours on end. Called their i10 location and same thing. How is a furniture sales company in business if they don't answer their phones? That's totally counter productive to sales. Michael Brown was our salesman. I'd expect better service from a larger company.

    I've had multiple issues with Ashley's furniture. From lack of training for people skills all the way down to deception on when your furniture will actually show up. I was thought I'd get my furniture in three months I waited almost 9. No one would ever help me I had to find my way to corporate. I did decide to give it a try again eight months later which is now today. I had a very pleasant experience with the sales guy did not try to be asked me in any which way and told me the honest truth. I ordered two pieces. One will come on the 19th of this month and one will come in April. I understand the pandemic has put a strain on everybody. All I ask for is a little communication telling me that there will be a delay. He assured me that he would do it. This would be something new and I do appreciate it.

    0 STARS!!! My wife and I have been extremely disappointed with the lack of action since purchasing a couch from the store on 249 and 1960. I went into the store during lunchtime to see if they had what my wife was looking for and after the salesman approached with the whole rundown, I told him I would be back with my 7-months pregnant wife. She picked a couch, so we proceeded to discuss numbers and delivery. We went in the 06/08/2022 and before purchasing the couch, were told that we could expect the "white glove" delivery since we added it to our order for delivery on 06/28/2022, since it was in stock. Fast forward now to 7/24/2022, wife now over 8-months pregnant, WE HAVE YET TO RECEIVE ANYTHING. I go into the store every single week to get an update and every week I keep being told by management that the delivery date has been pushed back starting from 6/28, 7/5, 7/12, 7/26 and now 8/5!!! 3 week wait has turn into 7 weeks!!! I will never purchase from this brand again. The salesman was persistent in getting us to sign, but we haven't received the same attention or updates since. Mind you, THIS is for a couch, I'm glad it wasn't a bed! We only went with Ashley because the wait would be 3 weeks. We could've gone to someone else had we known the truth. I would like to know how to cancel the order or at least remove the $300 white glove option and perhaps pick up the couch myself. AGAIN, They deserve 0 STARS!

    I should've read reviews prior to putting money into this company. Unprofessional and just a huge headache to do work with. I'll never do business with this company again. I paid for my dining set in full. I got them delivered. The first time they were delivered, they were damaged. So they came out a second time. They were delivered and the delivery guys damaged my walls and they spoke barely any English. They had no idea how to answer any of my questions and just kept looking at each other. I honestly am at a loss with what to do about my walls. The worst part is that they were supposed to replace the WHOLE SET. They took everything but still left the same chairs I originally had. They played games and lied to me. The delivery guy told me to my face that he was replacing the whole set when he really wasn't. Needless to say I'll never be back. I really wish I could just get my money back.

In July of 2021 I purchased a Hurston Luxury CalKing with a 10 year warranty. Mattress $2,299.00 A TEN year warranty $249.99, Mattress Protector $50.00 TWO YEARS later, (2023) the mattress has failed, two huge indentations indicate where my wife (115lbs) and I (187lbs) sleep. This was a TEN YEAR warranted mattress. I called my salesman and I was told in early May 2023, to contact the Warranty Department, and I initiate a claim. On May 24th I was informed by the Warranty Department my warranty submission was void as I had removed the law tag from the mattress. I then received an email indicating my claim had been closed. May 31st, I informed the Warranty Department I had not removed tag, this was a fabrication generated to deny my claim. I sent a photo of the tag, intact on the mattress and requested my warranty claim to proceed. Mattress Firm re-opened the case but now indicated a $80.00 Inspection Fee would be necessary to ascertain the issue... June 14th, Inspector Julio Guerrero performed the inspection, confirmed the mattress had two large depressions and also noted a small Coca Cola stain on the left perimeter of the bed. The Warranty Department informs me our claim is denied, void due to the Cola stain. They determine the mattress is unsanitary... Be advised, this confirmed two important facts, the $50.00 mattress protector soled by Mattress Firm was as worthless as the ten year warranty. Online complaints generate a Mattress Firm reconsideration and a 50% in-store credit ($1,90.00) is offered towards the purchase of a new mattress June 2023, as our experience with the $2,300.00 mattress proved to be of such poor quality, we were advised to purchase a $3,899.00 Beautyrest Black C-Class Firm, assured by Mattress Firm of it's superior quality. A ten year warranty and another mattress protector was purchased. It is now March, 2025. The "superior quality", $3900.00 mattress is less then two years old. Support in this mattress has deteriorated to a point producing agony. Every night, we each lay in hole of discomfort, as if we lay in a cheap sagging hammock instead of a quality firm mattress. It seems EVERY mattress sold by Mattress Firm will deteriorate in two years. Then you will be prompted to get on the "Warranty Merry-go-round" and more money will be deemed necessary. If you desire a mattress that lasts, look elsewhere...

We found it online and saw some amazing reviews! Decided to go check it out. The outside of the building - very run down. We actually thought about leaving cause 1. It didn't look open and 2. It looked way sketchy! But decided to get out of the car and check it out anyways! And glad we did! The guy working the store, I'm sure it was the owner, was super friendly! We told him what we wanted and he knew exactly where to point us. There were mattresses set up for us to lay in and try.. from that, he got a sense of what we wanted and told us he could make us exactly what we liked, using the materials that we wanted! You can customize the firmness, the material used to wrap the mattress, if you want added foam topper or gel topper.. anything you want! You can even wrap the thing in cashmere if you want!! Lol definitely for the added price but the option is there! We even saw a round bed! Adjustable moving mattresses? Murphy beds? No problem! We got us a firm mattress and he promised he could make it within the week! And he delivered exactly when he said he would! Prices are not horrible; we didn't mind spending slightly more for something that would potentially last longer. He said if we didn't like it, just bring it back and he'll make it right! Just no refunds, cause once the money goes in his wife's wallet, she ain't giving it back! Hah! He definitely liked joking around! He also said that if he mattress starts going soft for sinking anytime within the next 10 years, even if it's 9.5 years, bring it back and he'll cut a hole in it and replace the foam for free!!

Not only did I get something that hasn't been available in department or chain mattress stores for years (a plain polyfoam, not memory foam, mattress, with good quality foam), I got it for less than half the price we paid for our last (memory foam) mattress, from a chain store, a quite number of years (I think over a decade) ago. The mattress is well made and exactly what we like to sleep on - and did sleep on for decades until the department and chain mattress stores (we did not know about mattress factories at the time) stopped carrying it. I chose the firmness with the intention of putting a latex topper on it, which I did, and it's perfect. I personally think plain polyfoam with a latex topper is the only thing to sleep on (I regard attached pillowtops as a scam to see to it that the mattress lasts a shorter time than it could), but this place can make you whatever, I mean ABSOLUTELY WHATEVER, you want - I saw a *lot* of the sample "whatevers"! Oh, and we got some very nice latex pillows (another item in the category of "only thing we sleep on") for a very nice price. Don't be put off by the area or the looks of the place - I'm glad I wasn't. And I'll never buy a mattress from other than a local mattress factory again. Since the purchase, we have experienced numerous problems and have had the couch exchanged five separate times. At this point, we are seeking appropriate compensation for the continued inconvenience. Each time we contact customer service, we are told there is no one higher up available to speak with. As someone who works in sales, I find that very difficult to believe--there is always a next level of escalation. Being offered a $200 credit on a $3,500 purchase, after everything we've dealt with, feels extremely inadequate and frankly quite insulting. In addition to the repeated issues with the product itself, we have had to miss work multiple times to accommodate delivery windows, all while working around your company's schedule. The overall customer service experience has been very disappointing, and we have not been provided with any meaningful resolution or a way to connect with someone who has the authority to help. Please advise on how I can escalate this matter to corporate or to a manager with the authority to properly address and resolve this situation. I would appreciate a prompt response.
