Overall, I'm satisfied with my recent Ashley Furniture purchase. Back on April 29, 2024, I decided to replace what my kids lovingly referred to as the "granny" couches. We went for plush, soft dark, reclining, and with charging ports inside the consoles. The complete opposite of what I moved here from California. I could have paid cash up front, but like to have back up plans especially as a single mom, so I decided to do a 6 months no interest plan. The worst part was the approximate 20-minute phone call with like 5 different representatives due to a technological error. All of the employees were friendly & helpful. They gave my daughters and I bottled water while we waited and reluctantly for me (because I normally don't let anything run amok) allowed my girls to play hide and seek throughout the large store. Lol. They did the ol' under promise, over deliver routine that I love. I originally was told my 3-piece order would not be white glove-delivered until the end of May - after Memorial Day. It was delivered Friday, May 10th! The delivery guys - including Marcus - from Lubbock were prompt and careful with my order as well as my house. Sure, I'd do it all over again. read more

We have used Ashley Furniture for over 17 years and and seen good and bad as far as product. However last year we purchased a mattress for my daughters room in October and it is no July and the mattress has to be thrown out. We called in regard to the so called warranty and they since there was a small stain on it they would void the warranty. Don't waste your money read more

Me and my husband were just there to look around for mattresses for the house and we knew that we were just there to browse. We were stopped by one of the ladies who work there and she was nice, polite but then we respectfully declined the offer she decided to go speak with the manager. After a few minutes to ourself the manger showed and introduce himself to us then he began to be very disrespectful and judgmental towards how my husband makes this amount of money and his sleeping habits. He works 12+ hours 6 days a week. It's a painful job and it's often how he comes home plops on the couch in the living room til he's passes out. He was extremely rude and I know my husband, he would let people talk and talk but once he makes up his mind there's no way ur gonna get him to take it back. He's going to allow you say things and basically waste ur time. We sat there listening to him rant for almost 40 minutes about why he needs to get a bed "today". Idk why this manger was starting to get aggressive when my husband just looked at him and kept repeating himself. I'm assuming it's because the manger just wanted to make him spend his money or he had nothing else to do... I honestly don't know. But what I really don't understand is how when we refused service from the lady she decides to tell her manger to bother us... After the manager finally gives up I've asked for a business card so we can "come back" to work with him. But this dude refused and offered me the girls card and I look directly towards him and said no. Why the hell would I want her card when you clearly wanted to be apart of the "decision making". After months past I came back to Hobbs to see if I can look at the beds alone but as soon as I walked in... he was there with the same woman at there little table just staring me down when I locked I contacted i immediately walked towards the beds took photos of the brand names then left. I wasnt going to let myself get bothered. I've read other reviews on Google yelp and on the website... I've been reading similar complaints about the manger and couldn't believe how he is still employed there. Then the reviews on the website was so fake I didnt understand how no one was addressing this man and calling him out of his ignorance. read more

I thought I bought a bed and a desk I got the desk just fine i got the wrong bed I ordered a King I know I got a Queen now I am looking at two charges for both purchases witch I know is a fraud customer service suck i drove 60 miles round trip trying to get everything corrected not once but three times no luck there. I just talked to both creditors and they are different companies both are charging me the same amounts and demanding payments. The process of placing my order over the phone was time consuming but not a problem in the slightest. I have not received my item going on 3 months now and each customer service representative has given me different dates. I've just gotten news that my order was cancelled due to the fact that I asked about receiving a full refund OR getting my product on time. I am now on hold waiting to speak to someone for a hour and I cannot express the frustration and stress this company is causing me. This was the worst place ever to shop for furniture. We came in and they greeted us and everything was going good. We found a couch for my mother in law and we wanted to purchase it. The guy that was helping us was so nice! He gave us a great deal & was helpful. Then out of the blue a manager comes out trying to take his sale. The manager didn't know what he was talking about or cared about what we wanted. The other guy knew what we wanted and gave us the price we liked. After paying for the couch we patiently waited and after about a month we called to check about the order and they told us it was about another month out yet we didn't get our couch until six months after the purchase. While we were waiting for our couch we were told multiple different dates which were all false. Also the lady that answers the phone is super rude. Never buying from Ashley's ever. read more

We just bought a home and we're excited to purchase everything including dining room two bedroom sets, they told us it will arrive here in about 2 to 3 months but until today we had been told it will take longer it's been 6 months since we haven't heard from them! Took 7.5 weeks to get my furniture... extremely expensive, no returns and large cancellation fee so I was trapped and stuck waiting until whenever they decided to get me my furniture... I think in that amount of time they must have had one person building the bed frame. read more

This store really needs to get their stuff together. I went in 6 months ago to get a Living room set and pillows for my room. When delivered 5 months later, they brought us the wrong pillows. All wrong. I ordered 2 pink/salmon colored and a green throw pillow. We got a brown/grey fox fur pillow and some green Polkadotted pillow. We went up to the store to tell them there was a problem with our delivery and the man at the desk told us the pillows we wanted were discontinued, then proceeds to tell us a pillow that was on a bed across from him was the pillow we ordered. Did he not just say the pillow was discontinued? Not happy at all. Not buying from here again. read more

we purchased an adjustable bed for my spouse that suffered a stroke and when it was delivered the warehouse guys stated the legs were not adjustable! we have been so disgusted with this process , my spouse ended up injuring himself due to bed was so high ,we had to pay out of pocket for someone else to adjust it for us, and Ashley furniture has dodged us from the beginning with false appointments from warehouse people coming to fix it! read more

I gave one star because it didn't let me give less! This store is a joke! I ordered furniture in May. They said it was ready in July. Furniture was scheduled to be delivered on September 3rd. They delivered an incomplete order without telling me beforehand. Then they guaranteed I'd get it on the 11th, then the 15th, and ultimately changed it to the 16th. On the 16th, they were still missing parts. Now they said end of October at the earliest. I call to talk to customer service and they hang up after waiting long periods. Nobody can give me any answers and one girl said "you can cuss me out but it won't make a difference". I will never buy anything from this place again. I don't see how they are still open. read more

Ashley has again made an error in our active accounts. This is a complaint from my original post except how the store placed my payment on the incorrect items and tells us that we must repay the original due balance after that made the mistake. We won't get our running table until we do so. Customer service is the worst here. Not even going in in person to resolve the matter leads to any resolution. read more

Definitely a store that tries to rip the customer off for as much money as they can get. Saw a cabinet that was being discontinued on sale for around 900 off of 1200. After talking with "the manager" for 20 minutes, they quoted me 861 +tax. The cabinet is on the Ashley's website for 750. 20 minutes to check on the price but they don't even check their own website. read more

Was treated with royalty when they first seen me walk in the store during a supposed promotion on tempurpedic mattresses 7/28/2020 made it so convincing they even made me ring the chinese gong after the purchase lol. One king tempurpedic and one Ashley queen mattress. Receipt showed 2 Ashley mattress and they assured me that's how it showed up for the promotion but the king was listed as a tempurpedic. Almost 7 months and rude customer service over the phone later, I get exactly what I was afraid of, 2 Ashley mattresses. And it also turns out the sales rep that attended us that day has been fired so go figure. No refunds no exceptions in bold letters for a reason, since when is that caring for the customer? read more

Ordered Oct31st 2020, still waiting May24th 2021 when the salesperson told us it was 4-6 weeks out... Go somewhere else!!!!

My furniture has taken more than a month to arrive and we finally got to our estimated delivery date and it was pushed back another "10" days.. I am very disappointed and I think I'll be shopping with Miller Waldrop next time around. Atleast if it was gonna be pushed back contact your customers and let us know before we make accommodations ! Do not shop here. Still waiting on my furniture going on 2 months. I was over changed almost $300. I have all the supporting documents and I keep getting the runaround. Last time I called the receptionist asked if I would agree to a $30 refund. Uh, no. I have to call back once again and resend my documents. I've emailed the manager 3 times and that person hadn't had the decency to to respond to on email. I did receive a partial shipment while I was at work, my young daughter was here. They didn't even unwrap some I'm my items and what they did put together, they left the trash in my living room. Spend the extra money to shop somewhere else. After my last post, things have only been worse. I just found out that my balance isn't $1200 but is nearly doubled $2200. I understand financing fees and taxes, but when the in-store representative keeps mentioning my balance is $1200, you don't think to over look the paper work before you sign because it sounds good. Look over EVERYTHING if you decide to go will this company. I still haven't received ANY paper work from the NEW financing company after speaking with 2 previous "representatives" saying they will send it to me. They are not "customer representatives" they are just bill collectors. They will not answer ANY questions you have regarding your account or your balance, they just want you to pay. I just tried talking to someone regarding my payoff so not deal with the headaches and that's when I found out my $2400 balance, and the person I spoke with was rude and kept yelling at me that I was refusing to pay (even though I told them I want my paperwork) and she hung up on me. She refused to answer any of my questions! They expect you to pay without receiving any kind of paper work from them, I'm sorry I'm not sending money to someone I have no information on. Oh I forgot to mention in my last post that the over-the-phone payment method is $15! More of a headache then anything else!!! read more

I wouldn't advise buying their " Purple Cow Protection", as they have not honored mine stating everything is wear and tear! They repaired the love seat under the manufactures warranty and then it broke in the same place but they say it is wear and tear and they refuse to fix it because " Purple Cow Protection" listed it as wear and tear!!!! read more

The reason I gave one star is because negative stars was not an option. The people at this store are great at selling furniture however they are horrible at delivering said furniture. I paid them $3000.00 cash and over a month later they still have not completed my order. When we call all we get is lies and the refusal of a refund. Leaving a person no choice except legal action. From the store to delivery the people were very pleasant to work with. In the store the sales people were very courteous and helpful. When the delivery truck showed up, the men were very careful about the furniture and did their best to accomodate where my wife wanted to place the furniture. They helped set it up and showed us how to interlock the pieces together. Next time we need furniture, we will definetly go there. read more

I recently made our 3rd purchase from our local Ashley Furniture, and have nothing but great things to say about the service and delivery we have received. With this particular purchase, everything was exceptionally great. Pam, our sales rep, helped us to locate the matching couch to a loveseat we had previously purchased, as well as a few decor items. The sale was processed very quickly, and delivery arrangements were made before I left building! I had my new couch in my living room 3 days later! Pam was wonderful, and followed up a couple of times to make sure everything was as expected. I WILL be shopping at Ashley again, and Pam is the best! read more

I ordered my furniture going on 3 weeks now. It was a large order they say 2-6 weeks. I just checked on it. Customer service said they have 3 pieces in. He is going to get with the manufacture and get me an update. He said give him 24-48 hrs. I will update soon. The customer service at the store was good. Update I called 4 days ago because they said it was going to be no longer than 6 weeks. Customer service said he would call me with an update 24-48 hrs never got a call so I called. The lady said 3 pieces were i. The others do not arrive until February 2nd!FML that would be a total of 10 weeks read more

"Ashley, oh where do I begin..." I regret even giving you one star, you certainly aren't even worth that! First off, let me say, that this was, is, and will be THE LAST time anyone in my family ever sets foot in your store, and if we have anything to say about it, this includes our friends, as well, who will never set foot in your store, either! This company, or at least the one in Hobbs, leaves a lot to be desired! Their customer service, is lacking, so much that at times when I've gone in, it's taken forever if at all to get waited on, this isn't even my primary gripe, but yet, seems to be the tip of the iceberg, and a predictor into the unpleasant experiences, one may have, like we did, while in their store. While their furniture may be "affordable," could it be because it's less than, and not of a higher quality than other furniture stores-that's just an assumption, but still, leaves a lot to the imagination as to why. Finally a couple of instances, which have affected my family and myself, personally... 1)we had some kitchen chairs made for our dinning table, 4chairs, that's all, and the time they took for them to "be ready," was absolutely ridiculous I mean, several months! Then when we called, "they weren't ready," then they were ready, but didn't call us, on the delivery date-I might even say they missed the date, and brought them several days later...now yes they look good, but you can most certainly tell, they are not of the fine quality of Miller Waldrop, where we got our original furniture for our house-I'd day they were satisfactory, but not WOW! 2) Now, my main gripe, is about 4, let me say 4 memory foam mattresses that my parents bought, with a 10year warranty, and it's only been 6, where they would replace the mattress if anything were to go wrong with it...well it did, in my parents bed, neither of whom are overweight or heavy people, who now have a king sized memory foam mattress, that sinks in, in certain spots! Yes they've called Ashley's, and Ashley's response is, we'll send "our inspectors," out there...yes they came, and looked at the mattress and said "oh that's just natural wear and tear, (now let's be clear, my family takes care of their home and their belongings) so they "write their report and off they go, on to screw the next person out of money-by selling their a "half-ass" (please excuse my language), piece of furniture, and not sticking to their word, or believing the costumer-"who by the way, I was always raised and heard, "the costumer, is always right," a sentiment, obviously not felt by the people at Ashley's Furniture! Well, obviously we're not pleased with with this decision, so we call yet again, to appeal their decision...same thing, they send out "their inspector," and same ruling! NOW, my parents who are both up in age-should have comfort etc, without having to rotate the mattress, and it my poor Dad, having to go from their bed which they've slept together in for almost 50years (with a different mattress of course, till now), to a different bed in an entirely different room, and then to the living room, and then up by 4am! I might add that this problem exists due to my Father having a bad back, did the mattress bring on this problem-"I honestly don't know, but it could have," but I will tell you this, it certainly isn't helping it...and this is proven by the fact, of his having to get up all night! I am very dissatisfied with Ashley's Furniture, their costumer service, and our experience, with them overall! My Father has to go in for back surgery soon, I have just a mind to take them the bill, and say, here, I believe this is yours! Let it be known, we've heard of similar cases, like this, going in with other people, which can also be seen in previous reports here. So be very cautious, when deciding on a furniture store, you just might just end up regretting it completely, and getting screwed out of your hard earned money, the look and quality of your furniture-in your house, and dare I say...possibly health/back problems, like my poor Father, if you go to a wrong furniture store, like we did! read more

I will never purchase any furniture from Ashley again. I ordered furniture from the Ashley store at Hobbs, NM on January 2nd, 2015. Today is Feb 13, 2015. Their delivery system sucks literally. I wish i rented a U-haul and got all the furniture by myself. Initially they are supposed to deliver but their delivery crew gives you a call 30 minutes before delivery, that means you have to dedicate one complete day for receiving their furniture and they are really NOT Flexible. Second, they rescheduled their delivery date and i took a leave from work to receive furniture and early in the morning they gave me a call back and informed me that they are rescheduling again..Such a night mare purchasing at this store.. Only reason they get 1 star is because 0 isn't an option!! After being screwed over one time from buying our kids' beds we went back to shop. We met an awesome salesperson who was dedicated in helping us find the perfect bed for us. Once we found the bed and decided to give it a shot, the bald headed Douche bag manager stuck his big fat head in the deal and messed everything up! He sweetened the deal, threw things in for free and dropped the price! We were sold. 0% interest for 6 years is pretty sweet right? WRONG! Not only do we not get the "free" items, we get the wrong bed, wrong protective sheets AND a contract we have to honor! 25% of the purchase price to get out of it!! The bed we bought was supposed to be a cali king split with rising foot and head boards. I talked to manager after manager and they said they could make it right but it is gonna take ANOTHER 6 TO 8 WEEKS!! If you are looking for a bed DO NOT go to these idiots! We ordered a king size mattress from their Ashley sleep collection. They told us it would be about 2-4 weeks before we would receive it, which was very accurate we got it in about 3 weeks. The sales staff was professional, courteous, and informational. The delivery was fast and friendly! It only took them a few mintues to set up my bed and bed frame. I would say this was a rather "painless" furniture purchase. I would definitely go back for future purchases and recommend them to family and friends. read more

If you have any problems with your furniture or delivery, or if you need anything, they will never get things taken care of. It took over ten calls and three months for them just to come and look at the furniture they had delivered to us that was not manufactured properly. If I could give Hobbs, NM's Ashley Furniture zero stars, I would. I am absolutely appalled at their extremely poor customer service. I came into Ashley this evening (Wednesday, October 16th) at 6:30 p.m.. There were no salesmen on the floor and so I walked to the very back of the store to their customer service counter. Upon approaching, I noticed the woman seated directly in front of me stare right at me. She was helping a gentleman who later turned out to be a salesman but when I saw her look at me I thought, "Oh good, this won't take long." Instead, I stood in place for close to five minutes while the two salesmen in front of the counter and the four women behind the counter completely ignored me. Oh, I did receive a "Hello, how are you tonight?" from one salesman, but he immediately turned around and went back to his business. And those were the ONLY words that any Ashley employee spoke to me. While standing there awkwardly I received no less than three stink eyes from two of the women behind the counter. I say stink eye because it was so rude it pissed me off. I know the others saw me too but their glances were nothing compared to two of those ladies. When I finally gave up that one of the the six (yes, count them SIX) Ashley employees would even address me, I turned to walk away and heard one of the ladies whisper to another, asking if I had been helped. I entered Ashley Furniture tonight to spend money. Instead, I plan on posting this review on various sites. I will never, and I do mean never, spend my money at Ashley Furniture and I will absolutely be telling every friend and family member in the Hobbs & Seminole area to not give them their business. read more

From the moment we walked in we were offered water and tended to as soon as possible. The workers were there to help but weren't overbearing. We weren't in there for an hour and we had already found what we were looking for. Our sales associate took care of us and got our order and we were on our way.
