DO NOT buy from the Ashley Furniture in Alliance Town Center location in Fort Worth, TX! They have BED BUGS! I experienced the worst customer service EVER! After purchasing a brand new fabric headboard and the 5yr protection plan(which was $300!) along with it, not even 4 months of having the headboard I started experiencing bite marks each morning. After many attempts to determine the cause of bites, I finally reached out to a pest control agent who confirmed there were quite a few bed bugs and he found the source.... the headboard. After contacting Ashley Furniture about the situation along with sending multiple pics and videos, we received a call from a very rude and uncooperative manager, Jessica. All she wanted was to let us know that Ashley Furniture never had that problem with their furniture and they wouldn't address my concerns. All I wanted was my money back or in-store credit but she told me the only way I could've gotten a return was if we found the bed bugs within 48hrs of the delivery of the headboard. Purchasing furniture protection from Ashley furniture was a waste of money($300!). Customer service with Ashley was horrible. She told us that our compliant would stop with her and won't go any further. She failed to realized that customer complaints can go very far these days. read more

As a first time buyer I have had a very unpleasant experience! The sales associate that helped me started off friendly and helpful but when it came down to deciding on which pieces I wanted his whole demeanor changed and tried to pressure me in to getting a mattress that I repeatedly told him I did not want. He even tried to bring in the sleep expert in to convince me which I told them both repeatedly I didn't want because I was just LOOKING and they were my first stop in looking for mattresses, and finally was able to get them to understand. Despite that I did end up purchasing a sofa but when I told the associate I wasn't interested in any of the extras/protection he became upset and snatched the papers up to take them off. Then as I was looking over the paperwork looked good expect when I looked at the pricing he had put the sofa back at retail price and not the sale price, so I mentioned it to him and when I did he again snatched the papers up. Finally when he brought everything back corrected so I thought we finalized it all. Then as I am looking it over again before I leave the store I noticed my address was incorrect on this one and when I told the associate he became annoyed like it was my fault and stated that he would get it changed at that moment, and acted like it was my fault which was not because in the beginning all my information was correct. So then when it comes to confirm a delivery date they call and ask me to confirm all my information and turns out the associate did not changed my address as promised. And that I would have to go back in to the store and have it fixed, which then I explained that I had done that from day one and thought that they had changed it but obviously they did not. I also explain that I do not live close where I can just go in after work to change my address due to my work schedule and finishing up some of the remodeling I'm doing in the house. They didn't stated that they are sorry for the inconvenience and would send a ticket for the store to reach out to me to be able to change my delivery date before the scheduled date. As the date gets closer I received another phone call saying that they have to reschedule my order because the address was never changed, and that Ashley's would reach out to me when it was changed about a day later Ashley's reaches back out to me to schedule a new delivery date. I asked them to confirm my address and it was wrong still and never changed . I continue to get calls all day to confirm a delivery date and went through the same process of asking if my address was changed and it still hadn't been. I have talked to five different people and they all said they would do the same thing in contacting the store and that they were so sorry for the inconvenience. I have now decided to cancel my order due to the unprofessionalism and poor customer service, and will not be shopping at Ashley's again and will be taking my business elsewhere read more

Love this store. Although I haven't made a purchase yet, I have nothing but perfect experience at this location. I am currently moving and will be buying soon but do not have the funds. I shop A LOT. By far Thornton is one of the best salesmen I have ever encountered. He is very sensitive to my feelings and needs. Never pushy but presented everything I needed to know to feel comfortable in returning to make my purchase. I have, as I do with every purchase, researched and read all the reviews but Thornton made it all make sense. After I finalize my purchase i will always use him as a salesman and consultant. Thank you again read more

Great place to go if you love to come get harassed by the workers trying to make a buck. Couldnt walk around without having someone giving their opinion while I was trying to talk to my fiancé about the furniture. When we were ready to leave, the employee kept insisting we make an appointment to come back (even after I said we didn't like anything). He said we could just cancel it, just to schedule? Didn't make any sense. Wouldn't come back again. read more

Ashley furniture 9100 N. fwy are 140 Fort Worth TX 76177 5/3/2021 @345pm my adult daughters and I were searching for bedroom sets and no one greeted us upon entering showroom. Finally a woman walked past my daughters never speaking then approached me to ask if we were helped after 15 min in store( we walked half the store already). She said she thought I was helped? By who the imaginary workers in store no one said anything to us. We even walked right passed her and a coworker who saw us and just continued talking to each other, ignoring us( only 1 other family was measuring a bed by themselves)so no excuses. After walking the whole store with no assistance ,I noticed one of the workers who ignored us frantically and professionally attempting to assist a customer of another nationality, answering all her questions but ignored us. I understood at that point he must have believed she was the only one with money and not us. Clearly if all 3 of us were purchasing bed sets we had the money! deciding who to help in your store is not ok and will be reported). The salesperson was so busy on her cell Phone she didn't notice us leave either,oh well that was a big loss of money for that location and we will NEVER do business with Ashley again since they didn't think our money was good enough. Tomorrow we will purchase from a local company that wants our business and understands money is money and will appreciate us for patronizing their business. read more

Was told I'd be receiving my furniture on the 8th of June . Had to call twice just to get ahold of sales guys. Was told 14th...here I am still waiting for my stuff. I'll be cancelling order shortly. Never have we waited so long for furniture to be delivered. Probably taking so long because they're "making it for me" Finally received my purchase on the 6/20th, and my arm chairs came unbalanced. They rock. One foot is shorter. So not only did we wait and wait, we got our product screwed up. Setup an appointment for tech to come fix my chairs 6/25th. Was supposed to be an in home repair. Came by took pictures and told us they had to exchange them. Worse place I've ever been Customer service suck RYAN 703-715-7085 It's now July 3rd. Still haven't received my chairs and I was also told the delivery fee was going to be waved by the manager and I still haven't seen anything for that either. It's very irritating 9/18 2 months later and I still haven't heard from anyone including the $100 delivery fee that was supposed to be waived from my total. 10/1/18 Finally I hear back from someone regarding my account. Something I would have expected way sooner from the store manager, but thanks. I've completely made it a mission to stay away from Ashley's furniture. Best of luck read more

We bought our couch from here and we loved our couch. We were talked into getting the extended warranty and said it would replace our couch if anything happened to it. We tried to use the warranty when my husbands pocket knife fell out of his pocket and put a rip in the couch and they wouldn't replace the cushion or he couch. What was the point of us paying more for the warranty if they aren't going to going to honor it? Now our dogs have made the top worse from climbing on the couch. read more

I have previously ordered from Ashley Furniture (different store location) and everything went great. However this time....Our in store sales person was great....but we still do not have our furniture. It has now been 5 months and we are going on 6. I have called every month since November (when we ordered the furniture) and keep getting told the same things "oh looks like next month" then another person will say "looks like 3-4 weeks"...well it has now been 4 weeks since I called last and I still do not have the furniture I ordered about 6 months ago now. I received my mattress with no problem. But the bedroom set that I paid $5k for I have not seen any of it. This is rather disappointing since I do like this store but I will never order from them again nor will I refer friends or family there. Especially since I have family coming from out of town in 2 weeks with nothing to sleep on...... read more

Absolutely pathetic! Purchased a full warranty on a living room recliner only to find out that only the upholstery is covered. For the price I paid that's ridiculous! Customer service was terrible! The products and warranties are trash!! read more

I was very pleased with what we got for what we paid. We got a reclining couch and loveseat and couldn't be more pleased. Best pieces of furniture I've ever owned. The delivery guys were great at squeezing these big pieces into our tiny apartment, so massive props to that. I would definitely shop there again. Tips: Financing requires 12% down and don't get suckered by their "Protection Plan" it doesn't cover wear and tear which is generally the biggest issue with furniture. I would shop here again. My husband and I came in today to look for a new recliner and loveseat. We previously went to a different Ashley store and had a bad experience but loved the furniture. Piercen greeted us upon arrival and was so pleasant. He gave us our space so we could try out the furniture in peace without someone standing over us. We found a couch and love seat we liked and he got us the price and time frame it will take to get to us. We left with our purchasing due to time constraints, but will be back. read more

I purchased a dining room set from Ashley's in Alliance. It took three weeks longer than originally confirmed for the set to arrive to the warehouse. The delivery guys were awesome. Exactly three weeks later the stain literally chipped off from an area of the table. I called and spoke with a representative, she immediately advised me to contact the warranty company. I adamantly told her this was a manufacturer defect. Nevertheless they sent out a tech to repair the defect. It does not look its best. I am so disappointed with Ashley's. The tech even stated this was a manufacturer defect, declaring he would advise the store! Needless to say, I will NEVER shop here again because the quality is simply non existent! read more

I ordered furniture over a month ago. I can't get anyone to help me with any information on delivery. I have tried over the phone and online through chat agents. They don't tell you that they charge different prices online than in the store (super shady) they don't make it easy and don't answer their phones when you try to get your money back because they overcharged me $600 for barstools. Their online prices don't even match the ones on the receipt I was given. Customer service just hangs up on you. read more

Worst experience I have ever had with furniture and the warranty. Have gone back and forth with their warranty service and them for months with no repairs to my furniture. They said that I would get money back if I didn't use the warranty. Sounds like I'm getting $160 back on over $1000 spent for literally no repairs and a giant headache. When you call customer service, nobody answers the phone. When you call the warranty service they say they sent everything back to Ashley and that they cancelled the warranty in October per my request. Was never told I was basically getting nothing back and have still not received a refund. Just left with a bunch of crappy broken furniture with no repairs and out a bunch of money. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Will never but furniture from them again. DO NOT GET THE WARRANTY!!!!!! read more

Buyer beware!!! Sure, salesmen are widely known as being dishonest, but this store takes it to an entirely new level. This store makes up their own rules as they go along from the salesman, to the office worker, to the manager. I bought multiple furniture sets over the years with Premier Protection Plans. I received letters with plan agreement numbers which stated that you will receive store credit if you don't use the protection plan. So, my daughter needed a dresser and we went to the store to use our credit. Upon finding a dresser, we went to the office person to verify our credit amount, it was $317. However, now the office worker states that $500 must be spent before $100 could be used. So, we'd have to spend $1500 to use the $300 worth of credit. It says nothing of this on the paperwork or the legal fine print. After being livid and getting home I called the Ashley's Customer Care Department who says that a merchandise credit is no longer showing on my account. Also, she stated that there is no rule in place that you have to spend $500 to use a $100 credit. read more

I will never buy anything from Ashley again. Bought a sofa online - they confirmed and scheduled delivery. The item was for a vacation property. After an email confirmed delivery again, I drove 4.5 hours (one way) to meet them. Called the morning of scheduled delivery to confirm time. They told me the item was not in stock and would not be delivered - somehow they did not know this 30 days prior or even 24 hrs before scheduled delivery? They wasted 2 days of my time. I had already removed items in the property to facilitate delivery only to find out the item was never in stock and they had no intention of delivering on that date. Had I not called to confirm I would still be waiting. They owe me for gas and time - will never see that. Usual corporate crap! Buy local and put it in the back of the pickup yourself if you want something done correctly. They are worthless! If I ran my business like that, I would go broke and I hope they do go broke. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

The actual service from the sales reps that we received in the store was awesome, our sales rep was Danthony and he was absolutely wonderful and has nothing to do with this review so shout out to him for being awesome for us being 1st time buyers. My bad review is for the back end of Ashley furniture. They are constantly telling me my orders are ready when they are not. I've placed an order for a bed set In October and just last week received it. However i was notified an hour prior to delivery that my mattress would not be coming with it. That is absolutely unacceptable. I get a call today that my mattress is now ready and needs to be scheduled for delivery. Okay I go to schedule it and get told that ohhhh actually it's not. The mattress is not gonna be ready for another 2-4 weeks. Sooo what was the point of telling me it's ready?? I called to speak to a supervisor and pretty much got told "oh well sorry nothing we can do" as I sleep on the hard floor and nothing can be done about it. Do y'all's self a favor and take your business else where. I will not be returning to this furniture store for anything it's been an absolute nightmare. read more

DO NOT BUY MATTRESS from Ashley and DO NOT use RUDY for sales rep in Ft Worth store!!! 90 - Day comfort guarantee on $3200 mattress was bogus!!! I purchased an expensive mattress from Ashley Furniture in Ft Worth Texas. Our sales rep., Rudy, said our mattress came with a 90 day comfort guarantee. I had to keep mattress for at least 30 days then could exchange for same price or higher if we decide we did not like mattress. Rudy then asked if I wanted to pay an additional $299 for a mattress protecting warranty. I said no, then asked if it would effect the 90 day guarantee, Rudy said no, just tell customer service I used my own mattress protective covering, which we did. We purchased a waterproof protective mattress cover. I went to store on day 31 and spoke with Rudy asking to exchange mattress. He pulled up our account and said no problem, we picked out new mattress. Rudy then asked if we had contacted customer service. (Never mentioned warranty and even told my husband we could exchange) We had not, so Rudy said he would email customer service and have someone contact us to get exchange started. Six days later, no contact. We reached out to Rudy, who dropped the ball and forgot to email customer service. He told us to call them. I called customer service who asked for pictures of mattress, box springs, tag on mattress and our warranty. I said we did not purchase warranty but used our own mattress protective cover. Immediately I was told the 90 day comfort guarantee is voided and we could not exchange mattress. I told them Rudy said we could and they said he was wrong. I reached back out to Rudy, who will no longer return my call or text messages. We are now stuck with a $3200 mattress. I was lied to and verbally told I had the 90 day guarantee. I was told to sign paperwork that said I did not purchase warranty but again told with my own protective covering I would still be covered. I even have this in a text from Rudy! All we want is to exchange, we do not want our money back. read more

We have been purchasing Ashley furniture for years. Our recent purchase however, has left us highly disappointed in their service and contemplating requesting a refund. We purchased a couch and loveseat on May 16, 2020 and were told 2 weeks for pick up. Today is July 28 and still no furniture, got a text, one of several, yesterday advising delivery pushed out to September 6. Absolutely unacceptable, if we had known delivery would be 4 months out, we wouldn't have purchased, but then again, maybe they already know that! read more

We are having a similar experience as Jonathan J. Keith was our salesman and during the sale helpful. However, we noticed the paperwork had the wrong delivery address so my husband went up to the store to change it. When he did, Keith told him that our promised date of August 2nd delivery will now be at the earliest August 13th. He had not bothered to call us. Not sure how or when we were going to be advised?? I have shopped Ashley furniture in the past and never had this problem. So, is it just Keith or has Ashley's customer service gotten poor? Sadly, very disappointed and definitely thinking about cancelling the order and ordering from Nebraska Furniture Mart. It's cheaper there anyway. read more

If I was able to go negative I would. How do I start? I purchased a furniture set the first day that the store re-open (04/252020?). I scheduled the delivery for may 23rd. Days before the delivery was supposed to take place, I called to push it back to May 30th. When I called the representative said: "OH, we have you scheduled for June 3rd". To which I replied, this is new information, nobody told me this. The reason for the delay was due to the tables not being available. I asked if they could split the delivery, she said no. I was fine with waiting the extra days. Fast forward to June 1st and I have not received any type of confirmation. I purchased different stuff from Nebraska Furniture and Rooms to Go during the same time and they kept updating me with the status of the orders. I got worried so I decided to call, these phone calls don't take 5 minutes to make. When I was able to get someone to confirm my delivery, the lady said: Oh!, we got you scheduled for June 12". I asked why and she couldn't give me an answer. This is the second delay without notification. I drove to the store to ask for a full refund and to cancelled the order. I met the store manager, Teresa Cockell, she asked me for a few hours so that she could figure out what happened. I decide to give her a chance, I said to myself: "she is the manager, she might be able to help me. I really want this furniture set". I left the store while she "worked something out". She gave me her personal number to reach out to. I believe that she had the best intentions on helping, but the way that the corporate offices have set the process is leaving her with her hands tied. Nothing was solved and I settled to have my furniture delivered on June 11th. Fast forward to June 9th, I get both text and email confirmation at 5:20 pm, that everything was being delivered on June 11th. I'm happy and excited, finally! At 6:06 pm I received another email from Adrian McKinney, stating to call 1-866-787-7930 to discuss "any issues associated with my delivery". I immediately called but they were closed, Sweet! I called the very next morning to make sure that everything was okay. After 30 minutes waiting to get a live person, the representative tells me: " The tables are getting delivered but the sofa and love seat are not available" What?!?! The things that could be delivered back in May are suddenly not available anymore?!?!?! I was livid and trying to find someone to talk to, nobody at the store answered. I called 1-866-436-3393, I spent over an hour waiting and talking to a customer representative called Shai S. (they won't give you last names) After explaining everything to her, she called the store where-house, Tammy answered her call. Tammy assured that everything was being delivered on June 11 (next day), that I received bad information. At this point, I have no faith, but I decided to believe. Okay, great...the delivery will be tomorrow between 1:30 and 4:30 pm, we are ready! At 11:50 am today (June 11th) I received a text message that the delivery guys are 20 minutes away. They can't even deliver on time. I make my wife race home to be there. The delivery guy calls me and I tell him: "we were expecting you at 1:30, my wife will be there at 1:00 pm, please don't go. We've been expecting this for a long time" To which he replied: "Well, I just have three tables here, they are light. I can leave in front of your door" Hahahaha!! To add insult to injury, the guy signed for me. I have it all recorded on my doorbell camera. I called the store and they say that the sofa will be available June 18th and the love seat on July 15th. I was offered to take the furniture set that I picked, that was on display at the store!! They wanted me to take a used set for the same price and for me to pay for another delivery. That was their only offer to me. At that point I told the store manager (via text message) to cancel the order and to refund me the money. She said okay but that it would be a partial refund until the tables were returned. I asked that they could still do a full refund in good faith but no, there is no accommodations to be made. I asked if I could return the tables myself to the store and Mrs. Cockrell replied no, that they are not authorized to accept returns. With everything that happened they wouldn't even accept the tables, no exceptions. I was instructed that the tables had to be either returned to the warehouse in Gran Prairie or wait for them to pick them up. No other solutions. My wife decided to drive from Northlake to Gran Prairie to return the tables (I was at work). When she gets there we have to explain why we are returning the merchandise. To add insult to the injuries, nobody helped my wife unload the car, instead the men that were standing were saying "you are a strong lady" . Wow! This company is a joke from top to bottom. read more

Reading a lot of these reviews it makes me even more mad at the situation I experienced last night because it seems the warehouse would have been so slow it would have worked out after all. Me and my husband close on our home February 15th so we weren't really in the market to buy when we entered the store last night. But they had a half off sale which was fabulous. We ended up finding a couch we loved and were ready to purchase. However, I was told it would take 2 weeks to get to the warehouse and we would have to accept delivery within 2 weeks. That's about 10 days sooner than we can. We can't accept delivery to our furnished apartment. They were unwilling to help us in our situation. They could not push off the ordering of it and would not offer us a rain check to come back in 10 days to purchase it when the timing would have lined up. The associate offered us absolutely no alternative solutions and basically just sent us out the door. Middle aged light skinned African American man. (Was bald) Most of the time when people buy furniture it's because they moved or are getting ready to move into a new place. So this can't the first time this situation has come up and I'm sure there was something that could have been done or at least the staff should have a better attitude. Things like this are probably why Nebraska Furniture Mart is constantly packed and Ashley's is constantly dead. read more

My wife and I love this Ashley Furniture location. But not nearly as much as we love our sales associate Tamara. To give you some history, when we decided to move to Fort Worth my wife called this location from Colorado. Tamara took care of us before we even moved. Since moving we have bought everything from dining room sets, bedroom sets and movie theater chairs. I'll just say it. Tamara is so good at her job that we probably bought more just because she went out of her way to insure we got top quality furniture at amazing prices. She is amazing and we have a good time when shopping. She knows me from a distance and it's funny since I'm like the whitest guy on the planet, and she can hear me yelling "heeeeeey giiirrrl." She is just amazing. I have to say that twice in this review. Take high quality furniture and couple it with a stellar sales associate and you have a killer combination. Thanks Tamara. We purchased a sectional from this store February 20th specifically due to the fact rooms to go said it would be 3-4 months before getting it. Assistant manager told me it would be 2 weeks from the 12th of March, meaning 24 March I'd be sitting on my couch. Here it is middle of May and there not even supposed to get it to the "warehouse" until 27 May. Meaning I probably won't have a couch until middle of June!!! I did it backwards. I purchased THEN read the reviews and as I read, the pit in my stomach got deeper and deeper. Yes, it took a little longer to get our furniture than we initially anticipated but we were contacted by them to inform us and even then it was just by a day or two. We respected them for letting us know ahead of time and not the day of. The employee who greeted us at the door was not pushy and guided us to possibilities that were not out of the question & reasonable as well as he was plain helpful. The quality of the furniture is great and the guys did a great job bringing it upstairs and setting it up for us. Overall, we are satisfied. read more

I have been on the phone numerous times with customer service, sales representative, and the warehouse and every single person has given me a different date for someone to come out and fix this situation.
