I purchased a dining room table, chairs, and a bench in December of 2016 with the promise that it would be delivered in 2 weeks, about a week later I received a call stating it would actually be closer to 2 months due to a back ordered piece. When it was delivered almost 3 months later the table had a mark on the surface where it appeared to have been manufactured incorrectly and the bench had a piece of missing wood where it had broken. After calling Ashley furniture 30 minutes after delivery they insisted on attempting to fix the furniture to "Showroom Quality" rather than replace it so I reluctantly agreed. The repair man used a crayon, a can of spray lacquer, and glue to try and correct the damage in 10 minutes then left - it looked awful so I called and told Ashley I need a new table and bench and forwarded new photos of the corrected work. I'm still waiting for a call back. Rarely does Ashley furniture ever call back when they say they will, every time I call I'm placed on hold for 10-20 minutes with no apologies, and the same lackluster customer service. I'm on hold right now trying to figure out why it's been over a week and still no returned call on my claim. This was my first purchase from Ashley Furniture and last! They do not care about customers or their word, only getting your money. Worst furniture store ever!! read more

Great bed, very deceptive service. We purchased a mattress and base a couple of weeks back. Before finalizing, I asked multiple times if the bed this new one would replace could be taken away at the time of delivery. Each time, the associate assured me that it wouldn't be a problem. He even added a line item on the ticket called "Remove sanitary bedding only" and explained that as long as what we currently had was "sanitary", the people who deliver could take it. Fast forward two weeks. When the delivery truck arrived, I was informed that they could only take our old mattress and could NOT take our box spring. I called Ashley and got a manager on the phone. He would contact the truck's dispatch to sort it out. Long story short, the truck couldn't take it because there was not a line item on the ticket specifically for the box spring. I called the Ashley's manager back and even immediately paid a personal visit to the store. Due to how they have third-party companies deliver their products, I apparently will have to wait a week or more for a simple response about whether or not the box spring can be picked up. I was told that I should have been more clear with the associate and specify that I wanted the box spring to be taken, too. Apparently, "bedding" refers to mattresses but not box springs. That disclaimer would have been appreciated up front. Oh, and I was given a nice list of area non-profits to call and inquire about free box spring pick-up, because Ashley can't be troubled to do what they deceived me into thinking they would do at the time of purchase. With our new bed and few more reviews of their terrible service, I'll sleep really well tonight. read more

My first review I have ever done in my entire life, so let me know how I do. I went to Ashley Furniture on 12/27/16 and found a sectional sofa that I really liked and had set up delivery for 1/14/17 the day I moved into my new into my new place. 1/13/17 comes around and Ashley calls me to confirm my delivery for the following afternoon which was perfect. Around 6:00pm on the 14th I call to get an ETA and the young lady told me that it was not being delivered that day because a they only had half of the sectional. No one bothered to call me and I got the pleasure of wasting a Saturday afternoon sitting (not sitting because I didn't have a couch) around waiting on my furniture. The following day I get the joy of driving a half hour to the store to find out what happened. To their credit they were nice and gave me a good deal on a coffee table that I needed and as I am writing this I realize I went there and spent more money . They tell me that they only had half my sectional and that is why they didn't deliver it to me. I set up a time to have half of my couch delivered and then set up to have the other half a week later. I got half of it with only that one issue. On 1/25/17 when the other half of my sectional was going to be delivered I talked to Ashley (not thee real Ashley) on the phone because of earlier issues I had had with them and they tell me everything is good to go and I will get my chaise that afternoon. So... after waiting all afternoon (again) and getting no phone calls (again) I go up there and cancel my order. I will say dealing with the people at the store was not my issue and had a pleasant time with them. I understand things happen, but the lack of respect they have for someone's time is amazing to me. I tell them that I miss work and all they tell me is that they're "sorry" instead of figuring out a way to make things right. I know that in my line of work I would lose money before one of my customers was unhappy. I also understand that everyone I talked to including corporate is "sorry" but the fact is they get to go home and sit on their couches and not worry about it anymore and now I get to waste my one day off a week for them to come pick up half of my furniture that is already in my place and THEN I get to go shopping for another couch that I will have to probably wait a couple of weeks on to get to my place (all the guys understand that this is not fun for me), so needless to say I will probably not be shopping with them again. I don't know what I want to come out of this besides me venting and hopefully making someone realize that Ashley Furniture has a far way to come when it customer service. They were great to deal with before I gave them money and after that is when the issues started. read more

Sales people very helpful and nice. However the quality of the furniture had taken a sharp decline in the last several years. I bought an electric recliner. It was not setup correctly and then stuck in the open position. It took 3weeks for someone to come fix it. Now a table I thought was marble is actually a faux covering is peeling off 7 months after purchase. Again another 2-3 weeks to come look at it, 48 hours to render a decision and I bought the extra protection plan. read more

This review is for the Ashley HomeStore at 2475 Market Pl Blvd, Cumming, GA 30040. I purchased an office set from this store. Upon delivery, the desk and bookcase were damaged in several places. Additionally, the delivery people did not assemble the furniture correctly and they actually quit attempting to assemble it, leaving it incomplete. I paid $280 for "premium delivery" with FULL assembly. I tried to refuse the incomplete and damaged pieces but the driver just left. I went to the store in person to return the furniture but they said they could not process the return in their store (it has to go through corporate). It has now been 7 days and I still cannot get ahold of anyone on the status of my claim. I have called several times. It is impossible to reach anyone by phone. The manager "promises" to call back but he does not. I received an email this evening that said my order "replacement" is pending... I never asked for an order REPLACEMENT - I am RETURNING. I will continue to reach out via phone, email, social media, and every review site available until my return and refund is processed. This is fraud. read more

The worst possible experience with their transport team. My media center was broken TWICE. I was supposed to receive it a month ago. The unit was broken prior to it being loaded and nobody checked it before placing it on the truck which is beyond me as to why not. The second time nobody secured it in the truck and it fell and broke in route. They are just very unprofessional and had an excuse for everything. I have a job where it's very hard to schedule and nobody calls you to reschedule. You just get a text and then have to work it out and wait on hold forever on the phone. I finally received the unit after giving specific instructions on how the unit were to be handled. I couldn't be there when the unit was delivered but my roommate looked to make sure the didn't drop it off the truck, because that wouldn't have shocked us, and it wasn't wrapped at all. When I checked it once arriving home pieces were missing that they tried to hide and there is still an issue with the wood somehow having a big gap where you can see the floor. I am never going back again. Not helpful at all and the delivery service employees obviously don't care about trying to take proper care of the products they are delivering. I don't understand that because it was more work delivering the dang thing 3 times. I never right reviews but I felt people needed to be made aware of the issue. read more

If you live near another Ashley, I'd go there first. I've purchased from other Ashley stores and never had a problem. This store -- every single time I've ordered there's been a problem. First order in November, the ottoman was out of stock. Took a month of back and forth to finally get one, and even then my husband had to go pick it up. They would call and promise a delivery and then it wouldn't happen. In February, I was going to give them another chance. Purchased a TV stand. It arrived as promised, but missing all the shelves. Went back to store immediately and they apologized and ordered new ones. It's now been a month and 6 days since that order was placed and still no shelves. I called them and it turns out they were shipped to the wrong address. They'll have to re-order and I'm now waiting for another 2 weeks. I'm done here. No more for this store. read more

We Bought the "Winnsboro" Sofa, Loveseat and Half chair with matching Ottoman this February. This set cost us $3,463.82. The wood is chipping, the leather is sagging their is also a very noticeable mark in the leather on the back of the loveseat, cushions starting to loss shape. We had the technician come out to confirm all of this. He confirm this, but Ashley Furniture had a second technician come out to confirm what the first technician said. I have video of the technician saying he can not fix the furniture. I have called Ashley several times I even went over to the store and talked to the Store Manager John Carter. The Store Manager told me he would have to see the report from the technician. I told John I had video and pictures of the report John Carter the store manager would not accept my copies he said they had to be in the system. unfortunate I have not heard back for John and keep getting the run around form the customer service desk. We ordered a sofa 5/15. Delivery set for 6/10. On that date only half of our sectional was delivered. Delivery drivers said Ashley was supposed to have notified us that the other piece was back ordered. I called Ashley and was told next delivery date for that piece would be 6/21. Since then I have called them no less than 10 times asking to speak with a manager with no call back, as promised. I got a call on 6/18 from the warehouse saying delivery delayed to 7/3. Irritated, I was finally able to reach a manager who was going to look into it and call me back. It's now 5days later with no call back. I called the store again and they are saying the sofa won't even be into the warehouse until late August. I don't know what's going on but it's been a nightmare to get this sectional. I'm about to return the delivered piece and order one elsewhere. The customer service and communication is a zero. read more

In the future I will avoid "Ashley Furniture" like the plague. We purchased a new dinning room table and chairs set with additional chairs from them the week before last. They don't actually stock anything and all furniture requires delivery, which they charge about $100 for on top of whatever you pay them for the furniture that you've just bought. So you hand them a big pile of cash and you walk away with nothing but a receipt to show that you now own something along with a date scheduling the delivery. Well, today was delivery day. They call the night before confirming that someone will be home between 11-3 we say yes, great, tomorrow we get our stuff. So 11-3 goes by and we get a phone call saying "we're running behind, it will be more like 4" .... then 4 comes and we get another call "well we're running late it will be more like 5 but we will give you a call when we're 30 minutes out. 6PM goes by and they finally show up (after receiving no call). The delivery guy comes to the door with two (count them one, two) chairs saying "we have your chairs for delivery" .... Completely lost like a deer in the headlights when I say "what about the other four chairs and table?" So half hour and four phone calls later and they find three more chairs that were supposedly part of someone else's order rather than ours on the truck but still no table ...... so one final phone call, best they can do is re-schedule the rest of the delivery. So I now have a dining room with five chairs sitting it it around an empty space where a table should be ..... I will never buy anything from them again. read more

We recently bought a reclining sofa from Ashley Furniture store located in Cumming GA. We are very happy with the sofa, however I don't think we will be going back there for anything else. I have not seen such poor customer service in any other furniture store. We were going to spend another $400.00 on an accent chair, but changed our mind after we were told that we can't buy two throw pillows matching the chair pattern. Apparently " they are display" and even though we offered to pay whatever they wanted the answer was " No pillows". We have been looking for the right bedroom furniture for a while for my daughters bedroom, and bought a queen bedroom set at Ashley Furniture on Market Place Blvd in Cumming on 8/10/19. Our delivery was scheduled for 8/16 between 9-1, so I took the day off to wait on it. It never showed up. I called the store about an hour before the end of the delivery window to ensure the delivery would be on time, and started getting the "run around". Apparently somehow the delivery team had an issue that has yet to be explained to me. We called the Market Blvd store, but no one had a clue why it didn't get delivered. Instead of taking ownership of the issue, they just kept saying it wasn't their issue but rather the delivery company. After days of calling, we finally spoke to someone named Amanda who said the new delivery date was Monday, 8/19/19 between 11 -3, so my husband made plans to be home from work at that time. I got a call at 9:38AM on 8/19/19 saying the delivery truck was at the house, an hour and a half before the scheduled time. They said they would NOT come back later during the "scheduled time", so I had to leave work to drive back home and let them in. Upon arrival at my home to accept the delivery, they informed me that the headboard and railings were broken. Apparently they do not do Quality checks before loading furniture for delivery. Again, we had to call and try to reschedule - but it took 24 hours for us to connect with Amanda. (apparently the Customer Service Manager) The delivery is supposedly "potentially" coming this Sunday - but no time has been given. We were absolutely floored that they would not have scheduled the replacement furniture to be delivered immediately on the following day. At this point, we are 11 days past the date of purchase and we are still waiting on delivery. There is no one at Ashley Furniture that has taken ownership of this situation, as the only course of action we have it to constantly call the store - only to be told "someone will call us back" but the call never comes. Their Customer Service is absolutely horrible! We had planned to buy more furniture there, but based in this experience we would NEVER buy from them again. I understand mistakes happen, but they have made absolutely no attempt to rectify the problem. We would have expected that after all the issues we have had that someone would have owned the problem and fixed it by now. Clearly they do not value their customers after the point of purchase. If you're looking for new furniture, I would strongly recommend that you go elsewhere. Or, plan to pick it up at their warehouse down by the airport on your own. read more

My furniture arrived in good shape, with courtesy calls all along the way. Was very impressed with the two gentlemen who came to deliver the furniture--very polite and professional. When I looked into the truck, all the furniture was individually wrapped with a quilt-like blanket, and the guys puts this same fabric against my front door entrance as to not damage coming into the door. My furniture was beautiful and in great condition, and I am extremely impressed with Ashley Furniture Home Store from the sales lady who helped me, to the delivery gentlemen who delivered the furniture. Lots of care taken. I have already recommended this company to my family as some are in the market to buy furniture. They were impressed with the condition of the furniture too. We bought a dining set from Ashley furniture. The customer service in the store was excellent. Then the delivery nightmare began. The first time they came to our home to deliver the set, the delivery men couldn't assemble the base to the table. They said it didn't fit. We rejected the base. They said they would come back. Once they left, we took a closer look at the rest of the furniture; every single piece was damaged in some way. i called the store manager who said she would set us up for an exchange. I asked if we just get a full refund due to the horrible quality of the furniture. The Manager said she would appreciate the chance to make it right. She had a lot of trouble understanding the issue and quite honestly, I doubted she was the manager. She did caveat that with if we still weren't satisfied after her attempt to fix it, we could get a refund. With the exception of the delivery fee. I could not get a refund on the $125 delivery fee. I asked why I should be charged a delivery fee if they deliver damaged goods. The manager would not budge on that. Customer service was not her strong suit. The manager said we would get a call once the date for the exchange was confirmed. I didn't get a call, so I called them. They said they were coming the next day. Both my husband and I worked from home the next day because we weren't sold on the manager's competency. The big day arrives and guess what, the manager didn't schedule the exchange. My opinion of the manager had been correct. She was incompetent. The drivers came with a new base. That's all. I called Ashley Furniture and worked with Miss B (let's use an alias) who advised we reject the base and she would set up the correct exchange. Well that was trip number two. Miss B said she would call me back. She didn't. I had to chase Miss B down on a daily basis to get any kind of update. Miss B set up 2 more attempts to get this right. Both failed. Then we get a call from Angelique one weekend. She was aggressive and got the job done. It still took another two attempts due to the driver not understanding how to assemble the table but Angelique actually took the time to figure out what happened, made the appropriate calls to the warehouse, found their best delivery/assembly guy and on the 6th attempt, we finally got our dining set! If it hadn't been for Angelique I would have given this review zero stars if possible. I was ready to go to the store and get a refund minus the delivery fee. Luckily, Angelique called. She definitely put a positive spin on this. She is by far the most competent and most customer service oriented employee on that team. Angelique called me back when she said she would. She always kept me updated with progress. She was professional and courteous. Angelique also went a step beyond and sent us a gift card for the trouble we went through. Very kind of her. If we ever decide to go back to Ashley Furniture, we know who to call if there are any issues. Angelique is definitely management material and I highly recommend her to anybody who runs into any issues at Ashley Furniture in Cumming. One even stated "that's (the 1.5" rip) in the back you wont be able to see it!" and the other said "all our furniture underneath upholstery has holes, that's how we secure it to the truck, no big deal!" purchased a marble granite look counter high table and four chairs with backs. Everything is fine and I checked other stores for similar and found Ashley price to be best. I was disappointed they would not offer a sales price one day after and price kept going up. Don't like the games but everyone does the same. Delivery set up was easy. Follow up was excellent and I received numerous reminders and calls. Easy to confirm via smart phone. Delivery was right on scheduled and delivery crew called ahead. They were neat and put down ample floor covering. It did not take a lot to assemble the legs to the table and it was fine. No issues. Clean up and departure was within 45 minutes from arrival. Polite and professional sales and delivery staff. My second major purchase from Ashley and I will go back and recommend them. read more

He checked us out, set up delivery. We received a text telling us when the delivery would be. And also received automated call within 10 minutes of delivery. My review is do not ever buy a piece of furniture from Ashley Furniture. This is my third review after my initial delivery of a $20K order they had a slash in the back of the couch, broke the desks delivering it, dropped the hutch and smashed it to pieces. They then delivered pieces to fix the bookcase which did not have shelve holes on the left side and when the tech came to fix it - it was the wrong pieces. They could not repair the hutch so they had to deliver a new one months later. The leather couch turned white so the tech came out and said it was a manufacturer's defect so they ordered material to fix just a portion of the couch. After he tore the old material off and put the new off he announced that it didn't match and he broke the whole mechanism of the couch. They ordered a new piece but when they came today someone keyed in the wrong item number so they had to return it. I was just told that they will not replace the couch because it is a discontinued product but they would repair the mechanism. The couch doesn't match, it is put on incorrectly and all rippled with the wrong arm and I'm to keep it as is as there is nothing more they can do. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!! I purchased the Baxenburg Dining Room Table from the store on October 15th, 2018. It arrived damaged, however the assembly crew told me that Ashley furniture would send someone out who could repair it quickly for me. Great, right? Nope. They sent out a repair person on November 9th. He takes one look at the table and tells me "I can't fix that. They will have to send you a replacement table." So I call the costumer service number and have to fight with them that the table can not be repaired and it needs to be replaced. They arrive on November 20th with the new table.....except they brought the WRONG table! So I have to call and have another table scheduled to be delivered. I call them several days prior to delivery to make sure they are sending me the correct table this time, and they still had to wrong table scheduled for delivery. Glad a called to correct them......Today, December 7th, 2018, they arrived to deliver the new table, and delivery guy takes one look at it on the truck and tells me there is a huge chip on the side and it isn't even worth taking off the truck. YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!!!! It has been 2 months since I bought this table, and I still have not received a non-defective purchase. I won't even go into to the 30+ minute wait times when I call customer service, or the very rude operators that act like I am a nuisance for calling and wanting the correct table delivered. This is the THIRD day I have had to take off work, and nothing to show for it. Overall our experience was great! Our salesman (I can't remember his name, but he was a sweet older gentlemen) was very thorough in explaining all of our options and getting what we wanted ordered! The only downside (not Ashley Furniture's fault) would be the 2.5 week wait for delivery. But our order was there on time and everything was perfect!! It seems that everyone who has written a negative response thinks the exact same thing will happen to everyone, but we had a great experience.
